This document summarizes the key lessons and takeaways from a design thinking course. The student learned to empathize with problems by developing problem statements and solutions. They broadened their perspective and learned brainstorming techniques. The student also realized there is always room for improvement to reach the ideal solution. The course challenged the student but helped them expand their thinking. Time management was also an important lesson. The student believes the design thinking process and methodology will help them innovate in engineering projects. They thank Stanford University and the professor for the course.
