The human group is an essential part of human existence. People are born into groups, socialize within groups, learn from groups, and are mourned by their groups at death. A group is composed of two or more interacting individuals guided by shared norms to achieve common objectives. It involves a specified number of people who recognize each other as members and non-members. Social groups imply both shared traits and awareness of others working toward socially shared goals.
