Walking through the double doors of school and to my very first locker, I took a breath and realized
this was a new stage in my life. A new stage in life meant new people, experiences, and problems–

Location as a sporting barrier belongs in the institutional level of figueroa 's framework this is due to
the extensive distance between where I will be living and the surf club which will affect my

Slumped in my bed with my laptop is how I spend most days. A duvet, food and youtube are all the

July 21st, 2015.. I first read, "Megan, you know I love you more than anything in the whole entire

The day of my sixteenth birthday was boring and uneventful. Living with my Aunt and Uncle in a

As humans, we all possess great qualities. We develop memories that we can cherish forever. Hopes
and dreams help us strive to do great things. However, we all have our demons that we all tend to
conceal. The famous poem "Beowulf" is renowned for the battles against Beowulf and many
monsters. The battles in the poem pose as metaphorical battles. Beowulf defeating the monsters
represent him trying to overcome his demons. The last battle was between him and a dragon. To the
reader's surprise, he lost the battle. The dragon represents Beowulf's greatest demon. Despite the

deteriorating emotional stability, she persevered for as long as she could until she could take it no

symbolic representation of her emotional state throughout the novel, whether it be pre–treatment,
post–treatment, or pre–suicide. Before her treatment with Dr. Nolan, "Esther", the character name

In a world full of stereotypes, people tend to follow the path that they are subjected to. While there
is the few that rise against the unrelenting categorization, most, without knowledge of it, represent
their group decently well.
Take the classic attention seeker for example. Whether or not they deny their otherwise
inappropriate behavior, the signs are all present. They say, "Did you see my new bag? It's Gucci."
While my internal reaction is "Are you finished yet? This is ridiculous." The reaction that they seek
is one that I am not willing to give. This important standoffish attitude is just what makes the world

I am constantly in situations where I find myself analyzing a person and placing them in the
category that I see fit. Separating and classifying is a part of human nature because of our internal
need to create a certain kind of order in society. Without this variety of personalities, wants, and
beliefs put into a sequence, our personal understandings of others would be far too limited.
Here, are four well–known types of people groups that in one instance or another have been
encountered by everyone.
The Poser
The poser, also known as "the fake"; can be easily pronounced as one of, if not the most frustrating
person. The constant spiel of false accusations and misdirected attitudes can eventually cause any
sane person to go nuts. Though, their strong ability to hide what is really there is quite impressive
from an outside standpoint.

Far to the north, in the vast wilderness that is Alaska was a sprawling nation. At the center of it all
was the Capitol. The Capitol controlled everything and ruled with an iron fist. Surrounding the

"I ain't telling you all this to make you scared or bitter or to make you hate nobody. I'm telling you
this because you got a brother. And the world ain't changed" (41). She tells her older son all this so
he will look after his brother, but her death, occurring shortly after this conversation, only shows the

With the pop punk scene continuing to grow in recent years, it is only right that pop punk legends
All Time Low headline another tour across the United States, titled "Future Hearts Tour". One of the
more significant dates on this tour was at The Eagles Ballroom in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May
29th 2015. All Time Low has been to the Eagles Ballroom more than any other band, a record
fifteen times. The concert on May 29th did not disappoint, it was a fun filled night for fans in
attendance. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, All Time Low is known for their exciting
concerts. This particular All Time Low concert had excellent opening acts, a unique setlist, an

I Am A Friend, A Photographer And When I Was A Child
My father is a photographer and when I was a child I was his worst model, even my little brother at
four could pose better than me. Whenever my dad tried to get me pose I would stomp my feet and
scream how much I detested getting my picture taken, or I would runaway and hide. Their are very
few photo 's of me that weren 't stage or was taken quickly before I could oppose. Even today, if you
tried to take of picture of me you will most likely see me put my hands over my face hoping you
didn't get a good shot. So, if you look on my Tumblr or Twitter you will very few pictures of me, but
tons of pictures of my family or my favorite bands. But, I truly believe it is when I 'm behind that

For as long as I can remember I have always been dedicated to make my dreams possible. I was so
determined to make my dreams happen that at the young age of ten I began taking sewing lessons. A
year after that my parents signed me up for summer art workshops. At first I was horrible at
drawing, but as time passed and as I got older I got very good. At the age of fourteen I got so
talented that my art teacher started entering me into local and national art contests. I won many
awards including The Scholastic Art Award , Brain–Art Competition, Wrecks Of The World Art, and

Critique of Fist Stick Knife Gun
The Book "Fist Stick Knife Gun" by Geoffrey Canada is a biographical account of his childhood in
the south Bronx. He and his 4 brothers were raised by only their mother. She would survive on no
more than ten dollars a week. He moved several times as a child until finally landing on union
avenue, the place were many of his life lessons were learned and at times applied. He learned about
the ranking process of kids on union Ave. and how the only way to improve your status was to use

The lower categories were the early teens and the pre teens. The early teens were just learning the
rules whereas the pre teens couldn't go off of the sidewalk. Geoffrey belonged to the lowest rung,
the sidewalk group. As time went on he got in many fights, sometimes with friends just to dig
himself out of the bottom group. He soon became the kid not to challenge because he learned how to
fight.
The next was "Stick". Their wasn't much mention of this phase in his life, but he does mention the
fact that in certain circumstances, a broken bottle or a stick can be used in self defense when the
opponent uses a weapon. The place where this would happen is at school. The rules of the streets
still applied but the problem was many different "gangs" associated and congregated at his junior

M–W @ 12 Sweat by Zora Neale Hurston Marriage is a big idea that our nation takes remarkably
for granted. It is not something one can back out of easily. Once someone vows them self to one
another, there is no way back. In Zora Neale Hurston's short story "Sweat" she tells the story of
Delia, a washerwoman. Who marries a man named Sykes, In the first part, you can easily see that he
mistreats her. In the opening paragraph, he throws a snake like figure over Delia's shoulders. She
scolds him later for it. This image shown by Zora Neale Hurston is not coincidental. her husband
Sykes is being shown as a very commanding figure. Later on in the story. Her Husband begins to go
out with other women. He later tries to attempt to kill her. Only, In the hopes of marrying one of the
mistresses he has been seeing. As you continue on reading "Sweat", Hurston starts making you look
through a feminist and historical lens. She Illustrates the idea of a society full of sexism. A society
full of men exploiting and breaking down women... until the men have gotten enough use out of
them and they move on.
Delia has had to make an enormous amount of sacrifices just to provide for Sykes and herself, due
to her poor financial situation. Sykes being the person who "wore the pants" in the home, never
