This document discusses cost concepts and types of costs. It defines explicit costs as actual money expenditures paid to outsiders, and implicit costs as the estimated value of owner-supplied inputs including normal profit. Cost is a function of output, and types of costs include total fixed costs, total variable costs, total costs, average fixed costs, average variable costs, average costs, and marginal costs. Long-run costs are all variable as all factors are variable. Economies of scale provide cost advantages from expansion, including pecuniary and real economies, while internal economies come from changes within the firm and external economies from changes outside the firm like government policies.
This document discusses concepts related to consumer equilibrium and demand. It defines key terms like utility, marginal utility, total utility, and how they are related. The law of diminishing marginal utility and how it impacts demand is explained. Two approaches to modeling consumer equilibrium are presented: the utility approach and indifference curve approach. Consumer equilibrium conditions and assumptions are outlined for both single and multiple goods. Factors that determine demand, the law of demand, and exceptions are also summarized. Elasticity of demand and its measurement are briefly introduced.
The document discusses the importance of technology in daily life. It notes that the COVID-19 pandemic demonstrated how critical technology is for staying connected, working, communicating, and surviving. Technology has improved communication, transportation, education, learning, healthcare, and business infrastructure. This document discusses consumer equilibrium and the concepts of utility, marginal utility, and indifference curves. It explains that consumer equilibrium is reached when marginal utility per rupee spent is equal across all goods, or when the indifference curve is tangent to the budget line. The budget line shows affordable combinations of two goods given prices and income, while indifference curves represent different satisfaction levels. Consumer equilibrium maximizes utility subject to the budget constraint.

The document discusses consumer equilibrium, which occurs when a consumer spends their income on commodities in a way that maximizes their satisfaction given prices. For a single commodity, equilibrium exists when marginal utility equals price. For multiple commodities, the condition is that the marginal utility per rupee spent is equal across all goods. An example shows a consumer in equilibrium purchasing amounts of goods X and Y that equalize marginal utility per rupee spent on each.
The document provides an overview of key concepts related to marginal analysis, inputs, outputs, and costs. It discusses marginal and average quantities, production functions, fixed and variable inputs, diminishing returns, fixed and variable costs, total cost, marginal and average cost, short-term and long-term costs, and returns to scale. Key terms like marginal cost, marginal benefit, total cost curves, average cost curves, and their relationships are defined.
1) The document discusses the economic theory of demand, including what determines demand, the relationship between price and quantity demanded, and the factors that influence demand.
2) Key factors that determine demand include price, income, tastes and preferences, and prices of related goods. The quantity demanded at each price level is shown in a demand schedule and as a downward sloping demand curve.
3) According to the law of demand, quantity demanded increases when price decreases and decreases when price increases, assuming all other factors remain constant. Demand can shift due to changes in these other factors.
Difference between macro and micro economicsMaddali Swetha
Microeconomics studies individual economic decision-making units like consumers, firms, and industries, while macroeconomics analyzes the economy as a whole in terms of aggregate supply and demand. The key difference is that microeconomics focuses on micro-level variables and macroeconomics focuses on macro-level or economy-wide variables. Microeconomics tools include supply and demand analysis and factor pricing, while macroeconomics tools include analyzing GDP, inflation, unemployment, and other indicators of overall economic performance. Both are important areas of economics that provide insights, though each operates at different levels of analysis.
This document discusses solar air conditioning systems. It describes how solar energy can be used for heating and cooling, including providing refrigeration and air conditioning. It then discusses two main types of refrigeration cycles - vapor compression and vapor absorption. Vapor absorption cycles use heat rather than mechanical energy to power the refrigeration process. The document goes on to describe four methods of solar air conditioning: using desiccants, passive solar cooling, solar thermal cooling, and photovoltaic solar cooling. It provides details on each method and notes that solar air conditioning using desiccants has advantages over the other methods in terms of lower cost, lower collector temperature requirements, smaller collector size, and ability to operate at night and in cloudy conditions.
This document discusses resistive sensors and their principle of operation. Resistive sensors detect changes in their resistance which can correspond to changes in factors like temperature, light intensity, pressure, or bending. The document provides examples of common resistive sensors like thermistors, photoresistors, flex sensors, and resistance temperature detectors (RTDs). It explains that these sensors detect environmental changes by measuring changes in electrical resistance through voltage dividers and relating the resistance changes to the measured property based on Ohm's law.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MACRO AND MICRO ECONOMICSKaran Patel
This document provides an overview of the key differences between microeconomics and macroeconomics. Microeconomics studies small economic units like individual markets, firms, and consumers. It focuses on topics like supply and demand and price determination. Macroeconomics takes a broader view of the overall economy, examining aggregates like national income, output, unemployment, and inflation. It analyzes how fiscal and monetary policy impact economic growth and health at a national level. The document outlines the different units of analysis, tools, and central problems of microeconomics versus macroeconomics.
Mechatronics is the synergistic integration of mechanical engineering, electronics, control and systems design engineering. This document provides an introduction to mechatronics including measurement systems, control systems, sensors, actuators, signal conditioning and microprocessors. It discusses open and closed loop control systems and provides examples of mechatronic systems such as a thermostat and central heating system. The document outlines the key components and benefits of mechatronic systems design.
This document discusses concepts related to consumer utility and consumer equilibrium. It defines total utility as the satisfaction derived from consuming a commodity and marginal utility as the additional satisfaction from consuming one more unit. Consumer equilibrium exists when marginal utility per rupee equals price, meaning the consumer derives the most satisfaction for their money spent. The law of diminishing marginal utility and conditions for consumer equilibrium in a single commodity are explained. Graphs and a utility schedule are provided to illustrate these concepts.
Consumer equilibrium refers to a situation where a consumer spends their income on purchasing goods in a way that maximizes their satisfaction. It occurs where the marginal utility per rupee spent equals the price, or where the marginal rate of substitution between goods equals the ratio of their prices. This happens at the point where the budget line that shows all affordable combinations of goods is tangent to the highest possible indifference curve on the indifference map, representing the consumer's preferred combinations.
A laptop is a portable computer small enough to sit on your lap. While laptops and notebooks are similar sizes, laptops are generally thicker and heavier. When buying a laptop for travel, traits like weight and the size of the power adapter become more important than they normally would for general use, as portability is a bigger priority.
The document discusses various types of computer output devices. It describes printers such as dot matrix, inkjet, and laser printers. It also mentions plotters, computer output microfilm, monitors, voice response systems, and projectors. It provides details on the functioning and use of different printers and how they produce hard and soft copy output.

Recycling of Industrial Waste Water for the Generation of Electricity by Regu...IJAAS Team
The paper focuses on generating the renewable energy source from industrial waste water effluents. Utilizing the industrial waste water in order to generate electricity, a flow control sensor has been installed at the outlet of the tunnel which passes the waste water to the turbine. As per the need, the generation of electricity varies with respect to the flow through the use of flow control sensor. The generated electricity is then used for powering the street lights, gardening and run-way paths, during night time. The flow control sensor when integrated using IoT and cloud storage facilitates efficiency and scalability thereby providing massive utilization of energy usage.
AC-AC Voltage Controller of Power Supply for Heater on Drying SystemTELKOMNIKA JOURNAL
The coconut fruits is very useful to be processed into cooking oil and it can meet the needs of
cooking for Indonesia people, But before the coconuts processed into oil , The coconuts should be dried
first. Usually the drying process is manually, that is dried in the sun. Unfortunately this way is not hygienic
and can’t b e done continuously, causing the coconut fungus overgrow. This paper proposes methode to
solve the problem above. This research makes the dryer coconut fruitssystem by using the heater.Dryer
system used for dry some coconut fruits that must be reduced the water content up to 5%, this dry
coconutis called copra. System requires heater which will be regulated the temperature. Heater
temperature setting is done by adjusting the heater supply voltage, and this is the task of ac to ac voltage
controller. Ac to ac voltage controller is a circuit converter is capable converting ac voltage with value 220
Vrms at 50 Hz frequency and have waveform pure sinusoidal become ac voltage frequency at 50 Hz with
an output voltage suitable with our need but the voltage waveform not impure sinusoidal or defective as a
result firing angle effects. The output voltage which we set determines the value of the heater temperature.
The output voltage is set from the firing angle of the triac component using the addition and decreasing
angle values. Based on the results of experiments that have been done, if the drying chamber which has
volume 135.2 liters and the temperature regulated at 700 C then the heater with a power requirement of
400 W should receive supply 216 V from ac to ac voltage controller. So the triac of ac to ac voltage
controller fired on 0.55 radians so that the to ac voltage controller that gets 220 V input voltage can
produce 216 V output voltage.

Controlling temperature using proportional integral and derivative control al...IJECEIAES
Drying is one of the crucial processes in agricultural production, especially in grain processing. The drying process can improve grain quality and affect the grain content. However, maintaining the temperature is a challenge in the drying process. Because it can influence the drying performance and produce a low-efficiency reduction of water content, in this study, the hybrid drying system is proposed to improve the performance of the forced convection dryer system. The proposed system used a proportional integral and derivative (PID) control system to obtain the optimal temperature. The proposed system was compared with natural drying and forced convection methods. The experimental result showed that the proposed system performed excellently for three performance evaluations. The average temperature was obtained as the highest of the other methods, with 54.68 °C and 54.55 °C for coffee and cocoa beans. The water content can be reduced by an average of 27.38% and 42.67% for coffee and cocoa beans. Then, the proposed system also had the highest reduction efficiency of water content than the other methods, with 62.71% and 36.94% reductions for coffee and cocoa beans, respectively. The results indicate that the proposed hybrid system performs better than the other methods.
IRJET-Smart System for Food Industries and BakeriesIRJET Journal
This document proposes a smart system for food industries and bakeries that automates processes using a programmable logic controller (PLC). Currently, baking and cooling processes are done manually, which is time-consuming and poses risks to workers near high-heat areas. The proposed system uses sensors like an IR sensor and temperature sensor connected to a PLC to automate conveyance of food trays, opening/closing of oven doors, oven temperature control, and activation of cooling fans. This allows baking to be done safely, efficiently and with less waste by minimizing human intervention and risks through automation controlled by the PLC.

The developments in the agricultural field are the buzzword in the market. In the field of agriculture, use of proper method of irrigation is important and it is well known that irrigation by drip is very economical and efficient. In the conventional drip irrigation system, the farmer has to keep watch on irrigation timetable, which is different for different crops and it is very difficult. This paper mainly focuses on designing of an accurate & cost effective Global System for Mobile (GSM) Based Automatic Drip Irrigation System using micro-controller. In order to fulfill these objectives we have used relay and solenoid valve along with a 16×2 Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) that can be connected to the microcontroller, which will displays the soil moisture level and ambient temperature. The developed irrigation method removes the need for workmanship for flooding irrigation. Efficient water management plays an important role in the irrigated agricultural cropping systems. Time based control mechanism; volume based control mechanism and priority based mechanism can be designed in one system.
Drip irrigation system using embedded systems an initiative of saving watereSAT Journals
Abstract Water is one of the basic needs of all living beings. Fresh water is less than 1% on Earth [I] and the usage of water is increasing day by day. Agriculture practices alone requires huge amount of water. In this paper, the basic motive is to save water and prevent wastage of water by using drip irrigation technology. In Drip irrigation the water is poured just above the roots in the form of droplets. Water is given to the roots drop by drop which not only saves water but also prevents the plants from flooding and decaying due to excessive water released by irrigation methods like flood irrigation- border irrigation, furrow irrigation, check basin irrigation [II]. In this paper, microcontroller based drip irrigation method is proposed, which controls, monitors, automatically ON/OFF the water pump and gives feedback. Drip irrigation using embedded systems is one of the most efficient techniques used to save water as well as saving time and energy of the farmers. Using embedded technology in farming practices would ease the farming and farmers will be able to keep check on the crops. Keywords: Drip irrigation, ATmega32 microcontroller, moisture sensors, temperature sensors and GSM Module.

Exploratory study on the use of crushed cockle shell as partial sand replacem...IJRES Journal
The increasing demand for natural river sand supply for the use in construction industry along
with the issue of environmental problem posed by the dumping of cockle shell, a by-product from cockle
business have initiated research towards producing a more environmental friendly concrete. This research
explores the potential use of cockle shell as partial sand replacement in concrete production. Cockle shell used
in this experimental work were crushed to smaller size almost similar to sand before mixed in concrete. A total
of six concrete mixtures were prepared with varying the percentages of cockle shell viz. 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%,
20% and 25%. All the specimens were subjected to continuous water curing. The compressive strength test was
conducted at 28 days in accordance to BS EN 12390. Finding shows that integration of suitable content of
crushed cockle shell of 10% as partial sand replacement able to enhance the compressive strength of concrete.
Adopting crushed cockle shell as partial sand replacement in concrete would reduce natural river sand
consumption as well as reducing the amount of cockle shell disposed as waste.
Congenital Malaria: Correlation of Umbilical Cord Plasmodium falciparum Paras...IJRES Journal
The vertical (trans-placental) transmission of the parasite Plasmodium falciparum from
pregnant mother to fetus during gestational period was investigated in a clinical research involving 43 full term
pregnant women in selected Hospitals in Jimeta Yola, Adamawa State Nigeria. During the observational study,
parasitemia was determined by light microscopic examination of umbilical and maternal peripheral blood film
for the presence of the trophozoites of Plasmodium falciparum. Correlational analysis was then carried on the
result obtained at p<0.05.><0.05) was established between maternal peripheral blood and umbilical cord
blood parasitemia with Pearson’s correlation coefficient of 0.762. Thus, in a malaria endemic area like Yola,
Adamawa State, Nigeria, with a stable transmission of parasite, there is a high probability of vertical
transmission of Plasmodium falciparum parasite from mother to fetus during gestation that can be followed by
the presentation of the symptoms of malaria by the newborn and other malaria related complications. Families
are advised to consistently sleep under appropriately treated insecticide mosquito net to avoid mosquito bite and
subsequent infestation.
Review: Nonlinear Techniques for Analysis of Heart Rate VariabilityIJRES Journal
Heart rate variability (HRV) is a measure of the balance between sympathetic mediators of heart
rate that is the effect of epinephrine and norepinephrine released from sympathetic nerve fibres acting on the
sino-atrial and atrio-ventricular nodes which increase the rate of cardiac contraction and facilitate conduction at
the atrio-ventricular node and parasympathetic mediators of heart rate that is the influence of acetylcholine
released by the parasympathetic nerve fibres acting on the sino-atrial and atrio-ventricular nodes leading to a
decrease in the heart rate and a slowing of conduction at the atrio-ventricular node. Sympathetic mediators
appear to exert their influence over longer time periods and are reflected in the low frequency power(LFP) of
the HRV spectrum (between 0.04Hz and 0.15 Hz).Vagal mediators exert their influence more quickly on the
heart and principally affect the high frequency power (HFP) of the HRV spectrum (between 0.15Hz and 0.4
Hz). Thus at any point in time the LFP:HFP ratio is a proxy for the sympatho- vagal balance. Thus HRV is a
valuable tool to investigate the sympathetic and parasympathetic function of the autonomic nervous system.
Study of HRV enhance our understanding of physiological phenomenon, the actions of medications and disease
mechanisms but large scale prospective studies are needed to determine the sensitivity, specificity and predictive
values of heart rate variability regarding death or morbidity in cardiac and non-cardiac patients. This paper
presents the linear and nonlinear to analysis the HRV.
Dynamic Modeling for Gas Phase Propylene Copolymerization in a Fluidized Bed ...IJRES Journal
The document presents a dynamic two-phase model for a fluidized bed reactor used to produce polypropylene. The model divides the reactor into an emulsion phase and bubble phase, with reaction assumed to occur in both phases. Simulation results show the temperature profile is lower than previous single-phase models due to considering both phases. Approximately 13% of the produced polymer comes from the bubble phase, demonstrating the importance of accounting for both phases.

Wear Analysis on Cylindrical Cam with Flexible RodIJRES Journal
Firstly, the kinetic equation of spatial cylindrical cam with flexible rod has been established. Then, an
accurate cylindrical cam mechanism model has been established based on the spatial modeling software
Solidworks. The dynamic effect of flexible rod on mechanical system was studied in detail based on the
mechanical system dynamics analytical software Adams, and Archard wear model is used to predict the wear of
the cam. We used Ansys to create finite element model of the cam link, extracted the first five order mode to
export into Adams. The simulation results show that the dynamic characteristics of spatial cylindrical cam
mechanical system with flexible rod is closed to ideal mechanism. During the cam rotate one cycle, the collision
in the linkage with a clearance occurs in some special location, others still keep a continuous contact, and the
prediction of wear loss is smaller than rigid body.

An improved fading Kalman filter in the application of BDS dynamic positioningIJRES Journal
Aiming at the poor dynamic performance and low navigation precision of traditional fading
Kalman filter in BDS dynamic positioning, an improved fading Kalman filter based on fading factor vector is
proposed. The fading factor is extended to a fading factor vector, and each element of the vector corresponds to
each state component. Based on the difference between the actual observed quantity and the predicted one, the
value of the vector is changed automatically. The memory length of different channel is changed in real time
according to the dynamic property of the corresponding state component. The actual observation data of BDS is
used to test the algorithm. The experimental results show that compared with the traditional fading Kalman filter
and the method of the third references, the positioning precision of the algorithm is improved by 46.3% and
23.6% respectively.
Positioning Error Analysis and Compensation of Differential Precision WorkbenchIJRES Journal
The document analyzes positioning errors in differential precision workbenches and proposes a compensation method. It discusses sources of error in workbench transmission systems and guides. Through theoretical analysis and experimentation, it is shown that positioning errors increase with travel distance due to factors like guideway errors. A method is developed to sample positioning at multiple points, compare values to identify errors, and implement reverse error correction through motion control cards. This allows positioning accuracy better than 15 micrometers over 150mm of travel to be achieved. The compensation method can improve precision for a range of machine tool designs.

The Low-Temperature Radiant Floor Heating System Design and Experimental Stud...IJRES Journal
In order to analyze the temperature distribution of the low-temperature radiant floor heating system
that uses the condensing wall-hung boiler as the heat source, the heating system is designed according to a typical
house facing south in Shanghai. The experiments are carried out to study the effects of the supply water
temperature on the thermal comfort of the system. Eventually, the supply water temperature that makes people in
the room feel more comfortable is obtained. The result shows that in the condition of that the outside temperature
is 8~15℃ and the relative humidity is 30~70%RH, the temperature distribution in the room is from high to low
when the height is from bottom to top. The floor surface temperature is highest, but its uniformity is very poor.
When the heating system reaches the steady state, the air temperature of the room is uniform. When the supply
water temperature is 63℃ The room is relatively comfortable at the above experimental condition.
Experimental study on critical closing pressure of mudstone fractured reservoirsIJRES Journal
This study examines the critical closing pressure of fractures in mudstone reservoir cores from the Daqing oilfield in China. Laboratory experiments subjected fractured and unfractured mudstone cores to increasing external pressures while measuring permeability. The critical closing pressure is defined as the pressure when fractured core permeability matches unfractured permeability, indicating fracture closure. Results show fractured cores have higher permeability than unfractured cores due to fractures. Permeability generally decreases exponentially with increasing pressure. By calculating sensitivity equations relating permeability and production pressure difference, the study estimates critical closing pressures under reservoir conditions are lower than values from external pressure experiments. The study provides guidance but notes limitations in fully simulating complex in-situ stress conditions.

Rice stem borer is one of the important pests that attack plants so as to reduce production. One way
to control pests is to use organic fertilizers that make the plant stronger and healthier. This study was conducted
to determine the effects of organic fertilizers with various doses without the use of pesticides in controlling stem
borer, Scirpophaga incertulas. Methods using split-split plot design which consists of two levels of the whole
plot factor (solid and liquid organic fertilizers), two levels of the subplot factor (conventional and industry,
Tiens and Mitraflora), and four levels of the sub-subplot factor of conventional and industry (5, 10, 15, 20
tonnes/ha), and one level of the sub-subplot factor of Tiens and Mitraflora (each 2 ml/l). Based on the results
Statistical analysis there were no significant differences among treatments and this shows that the use of organic

A novel high-precision curvature-compensated bandgap reference (BGR) without using op-amp
is presented in this paper. It is based on second-order curvature correction principle, which is a weighted sum of
two voltage curves which have opposite curvature characteristic. One voltage curve is achieved by first-order
curvature-compensated bandgap reference (FCBGR) without using op-amp and the other found by using W
function is achieved by utilizing a positive temperature coefficient (TC) exponential current and a linear
negative TC current to flow a linear resistor. The exponential current is gained by using anegative TC voltage to
control a MOSFET in sub-threshold region. In the temperature ranging from -40℃ to 125℃, experimental
results implemented with SMIC 0.18μm CMOS process demonstrate that the presented BGR can achieve a TC
as low as 2.2 ppm/℃ and power-supply rejection ratio(PSRR)is -69 dB without any filtering capacitor at 2.0 V.
While the range of the supply voltage is from 1.7 to 3.0 V, the output voltage line regulation is about1 mV/ V
and the maximum TC is 3.4 ppm/℃.
Structural aspect on carbon dioxide capture in nanotubesIJRES Journal
In this work we reported the carbon dioxide adsorption (CO2) in six different nanostructures in order
to investigate the capturing capacity of the materials at nanoscale. Here we have considered the three different
nanotubes including zinc oxide nanotube (ZnONT), silicon carbide nanotube (SiCNT) and single walled carbon
nanotube (SWCNT). Three different chiralities such as zigzag (9,0), armchair (5,5) and chiral (6,4) having
approximately same diameter are analyzed. The adsorption binding energy values under various cases are
estimated with density functional theory (DFT). We observed CO2 molecule chemisorbed on ZnONT and
SiCNT’s whereas the physisorption is predominant in CNT. To investigate the structural aspect, the tubes with
defects are studied and compared with defect free tubes. We have also analyzed the electrical properties of tubes
from HOMO, LUMO energies. Our results reveal the defected structure enhance the CO2 capture and is
predicted to be a potential candidate for environmental applications.

Rainfall intensity duration frequency curve statistical analysis and modeling...bijceesjournal
Using data from 41 years in Patna’ India’ the study’s goal is to analyze the trends of how often it rains on a weekly, seasonal, and annual basis (1981−2020). First, utilizing the intensity-duration-frequency (IDF) curve and the relationship by statistically analyzing rainfall’ the historical rainfall data set for Patna’ India’ during a 41 year period (1981−2020), was evaluated for its quality. Changes in the hydrologic cycle as a result of increased greenhouse gas emissions are expected to induce variations in the intensity, length, and frequency of precipitation events. One strategy to lessen vulnerability is to quantify probable changes and adapt to them. Techniques such as log-normal, normal, and Gumbel are used (EV-I). Distributions were created with durations of 1, 2, 3, 6, and 24 h and return times of 2, 5, 10, 25, and 100 years. There were also mathematical correlations discovered between rainfall and recurrence interval.
Findings: Based on findings, the Gumbel approach produced the highest intensity values, whereas the other approaches produced values that were close to each other. The data indicates that 461.9 mm of rain fell during the monsoon season’s 301st week. However, it was found that the 29th week had the greatest average rainfall, 92.6 mm. With 952.6 mm on average, the monsoon season saw the highest rainfall. Calculations revealed that the yearly rainfall averaged 1171.1 mm. Using Weibull’s method, the study was subsequently expanded to examine rainfall distribution at different recurrence intervals of 2, 5, 10, and 25 years. Rainfall and recurrence interval mathematical correlations were also developed. Further regression analysis revealed that short wave irrigation, wind direction, wind speed, pressure, relative humidity, and temperature all had a substantial influence on rainfall.
Originality and value: The results of the rainfall IDF curves can provide useful information to policymakers in making appropriate decisions in managing and minimizing floods in the study area.
Embedded machine learning-based road conditions and driving behavior monitoringIJECEIAES
Car accident rates have increased in recent years, resulting in losses in human lives, properties, and other financial costs. An embedded machine learning-based system is developed to address this critical issue. The system can monitor road conditions, detect driving patterns, and identify aggressive driving behaviors. The system is based on neural networks trained on a comprehensive dataset of driving events, driving styles, and road conditions. The system effectively detects potential risks and helps mitigate the frequency and impact of accidents. The primary goal is to ensure the safety of drivers and vehicles. Collecting data involved gathering information on three key road events: normal street and normal drive, speed bumps, circular yellow speed bumps, and three aggressive driving actions: sudden start, sudden stop, and sudden entry. The gathered data is processed and analyzed using a machine learning system designed for limited power and memory devices. The developed system resulted in 91.9% accuracy, 93.6% precision, and 92% recall. The achieved inference time on an Arduino Nano 33 BLE Sense with a 32-bit CPU running at 64 MHz is 34 ms and requires 2.6 kB peak RAM and 139.9 kB program flash memory, making it suitable for resource-constrained embedded systems.

Advanced control scheme of doubly fed induction generator for wind turbine us...IJECEIAES
This paper describes a speed control device for generating electrical energy on an electricity network based on the doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) used for wind power conversion systems. At first, a double-fed induction generator model was constructed. A control law is formulated to govern the flow of energy between the stator of a DFIG and the energy network using three types of controllers: proportional integral (PI), sliding mode controller (SMC) and second order sliding mode controller (SOSMC). Their different results in terms of power reference tracking, reaction to unexpected speed fluctuations, sensitivity to perturbations, and resilience against machine parameter alterations are compared. MATLAB/Simulink was used to conduct the simulations for the preceding study. Multiple simulations have shown very satisfying results, and the investigations demonstrate the efficacy and power-enhancing capabilities of the suggested control system.

I. Introduction
With the rapid development of Internet and software technology, easy and convenient way of cooking is
more and more popular with people, intelligent, environmental protection, energy-saving high-end electric rice
cooker will become the future of high-profile goods, especially remote controlled automatic intelligent electric
rice cooker will be the direction of future development. Convenient rice cooker has gradually become the people
daily life indispensable products. In recent years, with the rice cooker industry fast development in our country
constantly improve production technology and benefit from the rice cooker industry growing market of
downstream demand, the rice cooker industry development situation in the domestic and international market
are very bullish on [1].
The function and technology of rice cooker , both thermal insulation automatic type, timing, insulation
type and new type microcomputer control [2], working in real time has been rapid development, but in the long
time work there are still obvious flaws and shortcomings, on the function from the requirement of people has a
larger gap: 1) artificial washing rice, adding water, the different types of rice cooker need different amounts of
water and difficult to control, therefore, requires the user to have a certain cooking skills. 2) soaking in water for
too long, will cause the processed staple food in terms of shape, texture, can't satisfy people's requirements. 3)
long time processing, timing, quantitative processing, only when encountered some food increase or decrease
the number of change, can't adjust in a timely and effective manner. 4) long time processing, drenched by not
eating on time, the rice cooker is in long time of heat preservation condition, is not in conformity with the
nutrition, the basic requirement of environmental protection, energy saving, and large energy consumption.
According to the defects of existing products, through the structure innovation, the control method to improve,
design a kind of automatic intelligent home cooking machine based on GSM network.
II. The mechanical structure design
In the mechanical structure designing needs to ensure that the machine can independently complete basic
functions include weighing, washing, cooking/porridge, heat preservation, the structure must be simple and
compact, conform to the requirements of the household appliances, electric rice cooker easy to remove from the
machine to the dining room, convenient cleaning repairing or replacing the new electric rice cooker in the
future. In this paper used the top-down design ideas, design first assembly diagram, and then to part drawing, in
the process we used Pro/E advanced cad design software for modeling. Structural design and control circuit
design and program design at the same time, is advantageous to the coordination among the whole design
process and final assembly debugging, shorten the design cycle.

Fig. 1 rice cooker overall frame design
Structure design is shown in Fig. 1, cooking machine include 00 chassis system, 10 stents, 20 rice supply
system, 30 weighing system, 40 rice washing device, 50 horizontal moving device, 60 vertical lifting device, 70
cooking equipment, 80 water supply and drainage system and 90 control system. Contact life reality, in order to
prevent loss of rice natural nutrition, use two leaf inclined pulp agitator washing rice, stir axial flow of
production, not only retained the rich nutrition of rice, but also stirred the residue in rice chaff to the liquid
surface so that easy to discharge.
In cooking machine added the horizontal moving device and vertical lifting device. The horizontal
moving device is made up of ball screw, optical axis of guide rail and drive motor, used to move the electric rice
cooker from the cook position to the rice washing device for getting washed rice and water, then move back to
cook position. Vertical lifting device is made up of the elevator slippery course, lifting slider, drawing lines,
reels, motor. Vertical lifting device is used to lift the electric rice cooker lid.
Existing patents (such as CN200420093883 CN201010509662) do not have the horizontal moving device,
and vertical lifting device and not appear as the layout of the structure, this design mainly has the following
three advantages:
(1) Can avoid the rice washing device and the rice cooker directly connected, so that we can set out the
electric rice cooker from cooking machine, such as move to dining room, at the same time the rice
cooker can be cleaned easily.
(2) Vertical lifting device can lift electric rice cooker lid, so that the cooking machine can make porridge.
(3) When washed rice falling into the electric rice cooker, horizontal moving device will drive electric rice
cooker move around a small scale, let rice evenly into the tank.
Working principle: when come to the setting time, rice supply system start to work, weighing device
weigh the rice box, concluded the original amount of rice, then the solenoid valve open, rice start falling into the
rice washing device, at the same time weight sensor constantly weight rice box, when the amount of rice that
fell into rice washing device is equal to the requirement, solenoid valve closed; Then the electromagnetic valve
open, water start flowing into the rice washing box, when the amount of water reach the set quantity the
electromagnetic valve close, at this point, the agitator began to rotating, later, drainage solenoid valve open,
make rice bran floater flow out, then, the drainage solenoid valve closed; After that vertical lifting device lift the
electric rice cooker lid up, then horizontal moving device move the electric rice cooker to the rice washing
device, washed rice fall into the cooking device, later on, open the water solenoid valve, when the amount of
water reach the set quantity, close water solenoid valve; then, move back to cook position and close on the
cooking lid. After above operations is completed, heating plate started heat, if cooked porridge, when cooking
pot outer wall temperature reached 90 ℃ or higher, vertical lifting device lift the lid up, continue heat until the
setting time heat stop.

For appliances remote network control, there are two main ways, based on the TCP / IP Internet protocol
network [2] and the use of mobile communication networks for remote control [3]. On the one hand the
appliance direct access to the Internet, you need to implement TCP / IP protocol stack on the MCU, hardware
for computing speed and storage resources microcontrollers put forward higher requirements will increase the
cost of the product; on the other hand home users also need to provide an Internet network interface (access
broadband network), and each household appliances also need to have a separate IP address, network coverage
in the current conditions, achieve universal product is also difficult. GSM short message digital communication
platform utilizes GSM SMS remote wireless communications, it has a low cost of communications,
communication lines and regions without restrictions, high security, high reliability, strong anti-interference
ability, easy to use, flexible, fast communication, etc. Features. The use of GSM short message system also has
a two-way wireless communication data transmission capabilities for remote data transmission and monitoring
of communications equipment to provide a strong support platform, remote monitoring system described in this
article is based on the completion of this development, mobile communications module TC35i.
TC35 Siemens launched a new - generation wireless GSM module. Comes with RS232 communication
interface, it can easily communicate with the PC, even SCM machine. Fast, secure and reliable system solutions
in the data, voice transmission, short message service (Short Message Service) and fax. TC35 module operating
voltage of 3.3-5.5V, can work in two bands 900MHz and 1800MHz, respectively, where the band power 2w
(900M) and 1w (1800M). Module AT command set interface, support for text and SMS PDU mode. Common
AT commands as follows:
AT+CMGF (Choose a short message format)
Message Format command:
AT+CMGF=<mode> (<mode> Description 0 PDU mode 1 Text mode)
AT+CSCA (Short message center addresses)
AT+CNMI (Short Message display signal received)
AT+CMGR (Read SMS instructions)
AT+CMGS (Send Message)
Phone remote control module peripheral circuit shown in Fig. 4, is divided into three parts: TC35 module,
SIM cards, external antenna signal amplification circuit.

IV. System software design
Program is designed on KEIL3 MDK software, KEIL3 STM32 family of microcontrollers is dedicated to
develop software, carrying the corresponding model chip library functions can be called directly, simplify
programming. Program is designed in the method of modular programming, the various functional modules
code is packaged, so can be called directly in the main function when used to enhance the readability of the
program while reducing redundant code.
Because the system involves a plurality of sensors, a plurality of control objects, in order to better manage
the various tasks, use uc / OS-Ⅱ real-time operating system to manage task. uc / OS-Ⅱ by the US Federal
Aviation Administration for commercial aircraft, consistent with RTCA DO-178B certification standards in
2000, which proved to have sufficient stability and security. uc / OS-Ⅱ is known, open source real-time kernel,
is designed for embedded applications. Most of the code is written in C language, and only a very small part of
the code is closely related to the processor is written in assembly language, so users do little work as long as you

can put it ported to various types of 8 16-bit and 32-bit embedded processor. Based uc/OS-Ⅱreal-time operating
system programming paradigm [7] as follows:
void main(void)
{ ……
OSInit( ); //μC / OS-II is initialization
……
OSTaskCreate (TaskStart,……); // Create a task
OSStart( ); // Start multi-task scheduling
}
void TaskStart(void*pdata)
{
…… // In this position installation and start μC / OS-II clock
OSStatInit( ); // statistical tasks initialization
…… // Create additional tasks in this position
for(;;)
{

}
}
Application developed on the uc/OS-Ⅱ, we need to establish separate tasks for cook machine every step
work and every time visit to sensors and set a priority grade for each task according to cooking machine
workflow, processing messages delivery problems and resource sharing issues between tasks, After the system
task starts all the tasks will be scheduled according to the workflow. According to the actual workflow cooking
