This study establishes a kinetic equation and dynamic model for a spatial cylindrical cam mechanism with a flexible rod, utilizing software such as SolidWorks and Adams for simulations. The research predicts wear using the Archard wear model and examines the impact of a flexible mechanism on the dynamic characteristics and collision behavior of the cam system. Results indicate that the flexible follower reduces collision severity and enhances motion characteristics compared to rigid structures, demonstrating significance in high-speed cam applications.
