the past couple weeks. I thought that Darren Hardy made handling money and life very simple and

Another great thing I took from this book is to track the habits that you want to change. This is
something that I can apply to my whole life especially the financial part of it. I fid myself spending
my money way to fast and wondering how it disappeared so quickly. In the book it says to make sure
you record everything that you buy so you can make improvements on what you are doing with your
money. Tracking is a simple exercise. It works because it brings moment to moment awareness to the
actions you take in the area of your life you want to improve (pg. 38).
Another great part about this book is when he talks about riding the momentum of success. Its
important that when you find success that you go back to what got you there and work just as hard as
you did before and you will begin to ride this wave or rhythm of success. Achievers People who get
into a successful rhythm continue busting their butts and end up achieving more and more (pg.94). I
think that one of the most important parts of the book is when talks about developing a routine. A
routine is everything, its what you do everyday in order to be successful and find success in life.

Memorial, he comes across the name Andrew Johnson. As the readers of this poem, I have no clue
who Andrew Johnson is. Andrew Johnson could be someone that was close to him during the war. At

memorial are how the narrator speaks about his reflections and what he can see through the walls. The
very last few lines of the poem are when he sees a reflection of a white vet in the Vietnam Veterans

In lines 1 2, my black face fades, hiding inside the black granite he is speaking about how his face is
literally black from the granite wall. He is also speaking how the kind of person we show to the world.
We do not always show who we truly are, people only show the side of their personality that they want
people to see. From these two lines, the narrator brings up the main theme of this poem. In lines 3 5,
the writer is expressing his feelings or he is at least trying not to, he tries to hold back his emotions
from the war. He wants to remain strong because he says, I m stone and flesh He is not literally saying
that he is stone but he is a person that has been through a lot and even after everything he is still alive.

Since the age of seven, I started to help my parents with basic chores around the house. For example, I
helped my mom clean around the house, take out the trash, dish wash, and fold the laundry. During
this period, my parents paid me in form of allowance and started a college trust fund to pay for college
fees later in life. In addition, I applied for a job during high school to work for Vons. This was my first
job and the start of the basic building block toward my career development. Furthermore, I began to
get more involved in high school and volunteered for my school charity outreach programs. For
instance, the Los Angeles Food Bank came every Friday and passed out food to underprivileged
families who lived in project homes. Also, I volunteered in an organization called, Saved the Earth
which cleaned the streets, beaches and spread awareness about preserving the national environment. In
addition, I volunteered at St. Jude research hospital and read books to cancer children and assisted the
nurses with giving out pamphlets to the families of the patient. Lastly, I had a valuable opportunity to
observe the nurses, physical therapists and occupational therapists and participate in hands on
experiences. Therefore, all of these experiences led me to develop the necessary skills to pursue my
