Threats And Vulnerabilities Of Itrust
When discussing the threats and vulnerabilities of iTrust, it is important to identify the security
measures to potentially rectify or prevent additional security issues. The iTrust database application
presented quite a few threats and vulnerabilities. One threat discussed is the threat of a facility not
having the proper equipment needed to run a secure organization. For proper security, an organization
may need to invest in equipment or devices that are more secure out of the box. This means that
computers and/or devices that are straight out of the box are deemed to be more secure in comparison
to a computer/device that have been used.
In many cases, though the computer/device may have been swiped clean, it poses a much greater
threat if the system was susceptible to certain vulnerabilities before. In addition, with these secure out
of the box systems it is important to verify proper installation. Organizations need to be sure that third
party vendors are completely authorized to assure the information that is being installed and updated is
secure in the hands of vendors/suppliers.
Another issue that needs addressing when it comes to security is the configuration that is established
in iTrust. The iTrust organization has an issue with user access. When discussing user access
configuration, an organization may want to analyze possible configuration management. This would
entail having a server administrator that would monitor the content in a repository. In this

expressly delegated to the United States, in Congress assembled (Article of Confederation, 1777).
This article gave the states too much power, and because of that, the government could not govern

Life, Growth, And Separation
Personally Relating to Themes
I can personally relate to the theme for Salvation. Although I do believe that Jesus is real, I have
experienced a loss of my childlike innocence and faith in the belief that everything my elders tell me
is the truth. For example, I am sure that most of us grew up with stories of Santa Claus, the Easter
Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy, among others. As a child, I believed that these people were real. However,
as I grew up I began to realize that these were just stories that our parents told us to make us behave.
Additionally, I can relate to the theme of life, growth, and separation. At my age, I have had numerous
human experiences that have added meaning to my life and made me see myself as an adult. Plus, I
have experienced the separation of myself from my parents which has helped me to form my own
beliefs and become my own person. I think that the intended purposes of this story and its theme are to
persuade the audience to belief in these ideas, and for entertainment. I can also personally relate to the
theme for Who Will Burn Incense When Mothers Gone? . I have already addressed how I can relate to
the theme of separation and growth. In addition, I have experienced a sense of loss of tradition in my
family as I have grown older. As a child, I can clearly remember many traditions my family took part
in. For instance, we put our Christmas tree up every year on my mother s birthday because it was a
few weeks before the

Maurer and Smith (2009), a community s defining features include its attributes, people, places,

Analysis Of Jay Gatsby s The Great Gatsby
Money Money Money

AP English Hagar
3/28/15
Jay Gatsby, an exotic millionaire philanthropist, has everything and anything a man could ever need.
He lives a life most could only dream of. A life full of massive parties, sports cars, mansions, and
booze. Yet he is missing something, he is missing the only thing that could make him truly happy, to
live a life with Daisy Buchanan. He knew that when he kissed this girl, and forever wed his
unutterable visions to her perishable breath, his mind would never romp again like the mind of God.
(pg 119). He was in love with Daisy, and he opened up to her, only to lose her to Tom who had the
money to support her. Money could not buy Gatsby happiness and finally ends up destroying him.
Wealth has both benefits and dangers. Extreme wealth has the power to allow someone almost
unlimited potential, however wealth can easily corrupt and change a person for the worse. Once
someone has a taste of wealth they always want more. A prime example of this is the Wilsons, Myrtle
and George. They both die because they truly believed money could buy them happiness. [Tom] What
do you want money for, all of a sudden? [George] I ve been here too long. I want to get away. My wife
and I want to go west. Your wife does! exclaimed Tom, startled. [George]She s been talking about it
for ten years. He rested for a moment against the pump, shading his eyes. And now she s going
whether she wants to or not. I m going to get her away (pg 131).

Many people argue that being a “youtuber” is a real job....
Many people argue that being a youtuber is a real job. Some people say people
on youtube are just lazy and have no skills but the famous youtube channels earning
six figure incomes think they are just jealous.
Being a youtuber is a real job. They put in enough time, work, and effort as any other
job. They have to record, edit, animate, and clear any copyright laws before posting a
video. There are videos that can be an easy thirty seconds and there are videos that are
over an hour. The video may only be one hour long however, the youtuber could ve
recorded or edited for days.
Another reason to consider a youtuber as a real job is that there are many different

The top Youtube creator makes six point seven million dollars a year just playing
games all day. The top network also make the exact same amount. One person,
completely by themselves, can make as much money as a famous gaming studio.
Rihanna s vevo channel makes her an extra eight million dollars. Lastly, Ellen Degeneres
has the number one Youtube channel of all and makes an amazing eight point six million
dollars!
Youtube isn t just a website that gives entertainment, but can also find talent or
co workers. Many actors, dancers, comedians, and music producers are found on
Youtube. Youtuber Emmanuel Hudson, a fine dreaded up young gentleman, was
discovered by Nick Cannon and asked to join MTV2 s Wild N Out crew (Kimberley

drew thirty million views per episode between 2011 and 2012, according to the
International Business Times. The top rated CBS program, Two and a Half Men pulled in less than
that (Gredeon).
But in reality, becoming one of the top creators on Youtube takes consistency, a
nonstop work Schedule and a growing audience that have chosen to spend their valuable
time watching your videos instead of the millions of others found on Youtube. But the rise to
million dollar salaries has taken all of these creators years to generate through their
video making hard work (Carly Lanning). Most Youtubers that want a rise

Reflection On Dreaming And Consciousness
The Robert Berezin M.D. author of the article Reflections On Dreaming and Consciousness discusses
what we are dreaming when we are sleeping and how they operate when we are sleeping. In the
article, he claims that during sleep our muscle goes to rest and all the waste products of muscle
activity eliminated. The author supports most dreams are emotional conflicts and in my dreams are
emotional conflicts, when I dream about the pain, the dreams help me to settle down my emotion
because I took an action against pain in my dream. The author describes that people address conflict
through the dreams such as pain, hopes, sexual interest. I strongly agree with him because whenever I
face conflicts, the dreams help me to settle down my emotion because I took an action against
conflicts in my dream and this make me feel better. The authors mention that we do not fully
remember our dreams. I think the reasons people do not remember their dreams because I believe a
dream is a fantasy world, dreams are not turning out as an actual real life event. Whatever we do
throughout the day and whatever consequences we face throughout the day converted into a story and
we saw that image in our dreams, in fact, the dreams do not solve problems in our life, when we
dream about addressing the problem we wish we could solve the problem this way. So, the dreams are
kind of useless in our life, therefore, most people forget about their dreams and they only remember
tiny portions.
My textbook says about the dreams is our dream simply reflect life events that are important to the
people. In the textbook, famous scientist Freud classified dreams as a two categorized such as
manifest content and latent content. The manifest content is our important events convert into a
storyline and we see the visual image, on the other hand, latent content is a hidden meaning of the
dream. The psychologists also discover lucid dreams and this dream are slightly different than a
regular dream because a person is conscious when they are dreaming also the dreamer control the
content of the dreams. My notes support the author claim about people dreams on sexual interest
because my notes say approximately 95% of peoples dreams about the sexual interest and

We have to approach the female and really create a higher expectation for training intensity, Diane
explains. Research study show that when you put a female and male athlete together and make
everything relatively the same with body, mass size the size of the athlete, and you ask the female
athlete what they perceived their level of intensity is. The females consistently felt like they were
training at a much higher intensity than the males did. Peter asks Diane what are some examples for
coaches and trainers to change to make a positive impact on their female athletes right away. Diane
explained that in order to make a dramatic change right away, one of the best way is to incorporate a
dynamic warm up that includes flexibility, basic strength training and teaching plyometric. Diane
includes the work teaching because it is important that the athletes understand how to land and
decelerate in order to reduce any injuries and to have progression. Including basic coordinative
bimotor skills that include speed agility and quickness drills. is also important into incorporating into
the female athletes training to dramatically make a change and even reducing the ACL and knee
injuries by 73%. In summary, Diane explains that coaches and trainers need to look at the female
athlete differently versus being afraid of getting bulky and to have higher expectations. Incorporating
dynamic warm ups can significantly decrease the

Ancient Greece is, of course, regarded as the foundation of Western society and European culture.
Thus the plight of the Greeks in their struggle for independence aroused the sympathy of many
Europeans, from commoners and government officials to kings and queens. This led to the formation
of the London Philhellenic Committee, which helped to finance the war. The great British romantic
poet, Lord Byron (1788?1824) was seized by the romance of the Greek cause, imagining a reborn land
of Socrates (c. 470?399 BCE) and Plato (c. 428?348 BCE), and set off to Greece to take up arms in
the cause of Greek independence. He helped raise money as he made his way south but died of a fever
in Greece. Nonetheless, his death made him a martyr of sorts and increased European sympathy for
the Greeks. Two years later, the French romantic painter, Eug?ne Delacroix (1798?1863), painted his
famous representation of the Ottoman massacre of Greeks at Chios in 1822. Like Byron?s poetry,
Delacroix?s art further cast the Greeks in a romantic light for Europeans. Comment by

Birthday By Dorothea Tanning Summary
Dorothea Tanning s painting Birthday from 1942 is an oil on canvas self portrait. The painting s
prominent subject is a woman who is standing alone to the left of the canvas. She is dressed uniquely
in a dark brown ruffled skirt that reaches all the way to her calves. On the sides of her skirt, there is an
abundance of vine like roots overflowing from the back towards the front. Her top is an open, purple,
green and white decorative jacket; revealing her bosom, chest and some of her torso. With her left
hand, she is holding onto one of the many doors that are behind her yet she is looking off in a different
direction from these doors. The woman has no shoes on and to the right of her feet is an animal that
looks like a combination of a cat and bat that has big yellow eyes and large wings. The outfit choice of
the woman reflects not only modernity but also antiquity thus, making the time represent the turn of
the century. This combination of modernity and antiquity reveals something new which attributes to
the portraits name, Birthday. Behind the woman and animal beside her, is a long hallway that seems to
be never ending of open doors; showing that the paintings setting is indoors. The exact location is
unidentifiable because there is no furniture to indicate where she is, which signifies a sense of
isolation. Though the look on the woman s face and the hallway of doors initially give a perception of
loneliness and unknowingness, the colors, composition, and lines create a

Factors Of Absenteeism
Absenteeism means being absent from work employees may take a leave or not report to work for a
variety of reasons. Some of these may be uncontrollable factors like sickness, emergency, accidents

out of low motivation levels and dissatisfaction with one s work. Unscheduled leaves hurt a company

The Life and Work of David Sedaris
David Sedaris has been compared to some of the greatest names in American Literature, including
Mark Twain, Dorothy Parker and James Thurber (Moredock). Not surprisingly, all of the
aforementioned authors captivated audiences with their sarcasm, wit, and humor three characteristics
that are indicative of Sedaris s writing in general. Sedaris has made a career as an author and recording
artist (having broadcast and recorded his works of literature numerous times) who finds insight and
points of laughter in the ordinary nuances of life. Most of his articles are autobiographical in nature, or
at least involve him as one of the principle characters in them. His 2004 book, Dress Your Family in
Corduroy and Denim, is quite typical in this respect. An analysis of a pair of articles in this
manuscript, Us and Them and The Girl Next Door , illustrates the author s propensity for detailing
some of the more humorous aspects of non traditional American families.
Sedaris was born in 1956, and spent part of his formative years living in upstate New York. His family
would soon move down south to North Carolina in the early 1960 s, exposing the fledgling author to
some semblance of city life. By his own accounts, his tenure in New York was spent in an exceedingly
rural location, which contrasted sharply with his surroundings in North Carolina. The unconventional
wit and humor (Burroughs) that the author displays in his writings more than likely descended, in part,
from his unusual

Ritalin amp; Cocaine: Controversial Connection
Today it seems that many children, especially boys, are diagnosed with ADHD, four times more than
girls. Is it more prevalent now or just recognized more within our society? Those diagnosed with
ADHD have a hard time concentrating and are prone to outburst based on the emotions they are
feeling at the time rather than reason. This is caused by lower levels of dopamine in their brains. The
most commonly prescribed drug to treat ADHD is Ritalin. The dopamine transporter within the brain
moves dopamine from the synapse to the sending neuron. Ritalin blocks the dopamine transporter,
therefore, increasing the dopamine level at the synapse.
Similarly, in recent studies, cocaine has the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I do believe that some individuals may be in need of prescriptions that control things like dopamine
levels; however, by stripping away all processed foods and going organic when available, I think
studies would prove a decrease in ADHD and also things like Autism. Society should demand a higher
quality of chemical free food produced by farmers and higher quality control before going to market.
The unfortunate truth is that currently it would require more dollars on both ends to accomplish such a
task.
Mothers eating processed foods during pregnancy and children eating quick and easy snacks are in my
opinion creating a generation of individuals that have a lack of coping mechanisms directly
contributed from the imbalance of a healthy cellular system. Although unaware of why they have a
feeling of disconnect, this leads them to seek comfort in prescribed or controlled substances to feel
calm or in control.
Because of Ritalin s similarity to cocaine, some believe it to be a gateway drug, but studies have
shown that Ritalin users are less likely to experiment than those who were not prescribed Ritalin .
Gateway drugs are perceived to be a drug that may lead to the use of other, more addictive drugs.

This committee decided that the United States should retain nuclear superiority, in the event that
international relations deteriorated following World War II (US Department of Energy). This decision
is a foreshadowing of the Cold War, and nuclear arms race which followed the dropping of nuclear
weapons on Japan. The interim committee also decreed that a regulatory system should be created to
control the development of nuclear weapons, since other nations would inevitably obtain the
technology needed to develop weapons. Possibly, the most influential decision made by the interim
committee was to keep the details of the atomic bomb a secret, to maintain the shock effect, until after
it had been dropped on Japan. Two atomic bombs were dropped on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima

accomplishments in foreign policy not only caused drastic changes in her own country for her own

Making The Game Chased By Snakes As Part Of The Group...
Introduction
This report will look back on the group project to make the game Chased by Snakes as part of the
group Danger Noodle. This will look back at how the group managed the project with a flat structure
and relaxed development deadlines and how this affected the final project. The report will then look at
the requirements set by the client, and how these were finalised for implementation. Then the
implementation of the project will be discussed looking back on how the features were put into the
game. Lastly the report will reflect back on how the project went as a whole and what could be
improved in the future.
Methodology
For this project it was decided by the group to use a flat management structure, and to follow a system
akin to free development. This method meant that none of the group was the project manager, and
instead the thing keeping people on track was their self motivation to complete the project. To aid with
completing the project at the start of the project a list of work was set out from the requirements, and
then each member of the group picked the tasks that they could complete for the year. The main
reason such a free and unstructured approach was taken was that the group had worked together
before using the idea and so it was known to work. The second reason it was used was to allow
members of the group to focus on this project when they had time and focus on other university units
when needed.

Cepparulo B.S.R.S., R.T. (R) (CT) The administration of contrast media to a patient with the purpose
to examine their internal organs could have dangerous side effects or reactions to the patient. These
effects can average from mild to severe, however, sometimes they can lead to instant death. This
article retrieved from the American Association for radiologic technologists, simnifically describe in
detail the history of the use of contrast media in the CT department and other modalities. In addition,
the article emphasizes and addresses important issues such as the osmolality or ion state of the
contrast media, the distribution and excretion, the adverse effects, the systemic or idiosyncratic effects
and non categorized effects that the distribution of contrast media could have in patients. Moreover,
the author talks about who in a community is most likely to be a risk and impacted from those
procedures, also how these effects and reactions could be treated depending on the severity of the
reaction and the time period that it was detected after the contrast administration to the patient. The
history of the use of contrast media for radiographic procedures started back in the 1920 s.
Radiologists and scientists started developing and practicing with different concentrations of

Negative Effects Of Consumerism
Consumerism is becoming the characteristics of most world economies. In today s society,
consumerism is often having a negative aspect of people s lives. But, if looked in a positive light,
consumerism have certain positive characteristics. Consumerism has been as part of a history process.
People often want more than they have now, more money, a better car, a more comfortable house,
more luxuries brand clothing or shoes. People never be satisfied with them, because there is new
advertisement for new cars, clothes and electronics every day. In term of is discussion consumerism,
James B. Twitchell, author of The Allure of Luxury , explores the joys of luxury and challenges the
academic criticism that condemns our material instincts as shallow and self centered. Another author
Daniel Gross of Will Your Recession Be Tall, Grande, or Venti? , illustrates the correlation which
economists should be counting the number of baristas when they judge the direction the economy will
take between having too many Starbucks and having a financial crisis. So, consumerism has a major
effect on our lives, whatever negative effects or positive effects. Consumerism increase economy
growth. More consumption requires more production, more production means more jobs and more
income in society, and more incomes means more consumption. This is a cycle which if managed
properly can bring growth to economy. Twitchell said that This spending is being done by younger and
younger consumers. Take a walk up Fifth Avenue, and then, at 58th, cross over and continue up
Madison. You will see who is swarming through the stores with names we all recognize.....and you will
see the same furious down marketing and up crusting. (119) More production of manufactured goods
and services has increased the consumerism world. Take cell phones for instant, it has become a need
today. Elementary school students are given the cell phone for safe reasons, giving the growth to the
production of cell phones. Furthermore, increases the employment opportunities directly or indirectly
associated with the communication industry. Consumerism not only affects the local markets, it has its
effect throughout the globe. Gross said that And these are precisely

Analysis Of And Mary Shelley s Frankenstein
Intertextuality is a literary technique that weaves together and creates a relationship between two texts,
enriching the reader of the primary text with a look into history, and the ability to further interpret
what they are reading. According to the Oxford English Dictionary (OED Online) intertext is defined
as A text considered in the light of its relation to other texts; ( intertext def. 1), meaning that intertext
is when a text is better understood by having knowledge of the text that it alludes to. In Mary Barton,
Elizabeth Gaskell uses intertextuality to further demonstrate key concepts present in the text by
alluding to works of other famous authors, well known biblical passages, and Mary Shelley s
Frankenstein. By doing this, she effectively shows how the relationship between the working class and
the middle to upper class must be compassionate and understanding of their shared connection in
order to be successful. The use of allusions in this text is both a formal and thematic technique.
Appendix C of the Oxford World s Classics edition of this novel provides two of William Gaskell s
lectures on Lancashire dialect, showing the ways in which he and Elizabeth intensely studied the
origin of words from this region. Here, he focuses on tracing the history of words, everything from
who created it first, where it has been used since then and the ways it is used in Lancashire at the time
of the lecture. The reason this point is so important and interesting is

The Pros And Cons Of 3D Printing
INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION: ARMY PRODUCTION
INTRODUCTION
The Economist (2012) titled its article about 3D printing as The Third Industrial Revolution , implying
that 3D technology has a potential to do so. Will it really be happen? The answer remains to be seen,
but considering the capabilities of 3D technology, it seems absolute. When we look back to history,
wheel, steam engine, and light bulb were all breakthroughs that shaped the way societies lived. In the
21th century, 3D printing is the biggest nominee for the title of new breakthrough or game changer .
Taking into account the varieties of products that are the harvest of 3D printers, 3D printing has
already deserved that title and changed many traditional production rules. 3D printing or AM is used
not only in civilian logistics but also in military applications. Although it has some implications and
drawbacks, 3D printing provides great opportunities for humanity, if used correctly. On one hand, it
can reduce costs and help us to gain more; on the other hand it can save the lives of people who are in
need of urgent medical help.

Essay on Eugenics
The roots of eugenics can be traced back to Britain in the early 1880 s when Sir Francis Galton
generated the term from the Greek word for well born . He defined eugenics as the science of
improving stock, whether human or animal. According to the American Eugenics Movement, today s
study of eugenics has many similarities to studies done in the early 20th century. Back then, Eugenics
was, quite literally, an effort to breed better human beings by encouraging the reproduction of people
with quot;good quot; genes and discouraging those with quot;bad quot; genes.
(www.eugenicsarchive.org) According to Merriam Webster, the modern day definition of eugenics is,
a science that deals with the improvement (as by control of human mating) of ... Show more content

At the same time, cloning could operate as a form of positive eugenics, increasing the number of
births of babies with excellent health and high intelligence.
One thing that many people disagree upon is whether or not eugenics and genetic cloning is ethically
right or wrong. On one hand, it could eliminate children being born with life threatening diseases by
forewarning parents of potential medical problems. It is known that hemophilia, albinism, and certain
structural abnormalities are inheritable. Family gene maps, called pedigrees, can help families with
serious diseases avoid having children with the same diseases through genetic counseling, and,
increasingly, prospective parents can be tested directly for the presence of undesired genes. (Prothero)
Another possible use of genetics could be the production of healthy organs. For example, heart disease
is one of the top causes of death in the United States. Scientists predict that they will someday be able
to clone healthy heart cells and inject them into damaged areas of the heart to cure defects. There is
also a possibility that doctors will be able to take healthy cells and tissue from a patient s body and use
them to create organs. This would eliminate the need for organ donor waiting lists. People would no
longer be facing early death because there is not a healthy heart or other organ available to them.
At the same time, some people question if it is morally right to, in terms, play god . Some go

Essay about Commentary on the Novel Peace like a River by...
Negative Peace?
Can something as positive as peace, sadly, turn negative? Throughout the book Peace like a River by
Leif Enger, a negative mood, surprisingly, is established. When the story itself does maintain a
positive influence, it s almost as if the negativity takes a higher dominance. In this novel, narrated by
the middle child, Reuben, who has severe asthma, the reader is introduced to the very unique Land
family. Jeremiah, the father and main provider of this family has three children, two boys and a girl;
Reuben and Davy are both older than their sister Swede. However, Helen, the wife of Jeremiah and
the mother of the three kids, left the family when Jeremiah turned his career path around to become a
school janitor. The Land ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The Land family enters turmoil when Jeremiah is fired from his job and struggles from pneumonia.
After some time, Christmas comes around and Reuben spends the money he worked very hard for on
groceries for the family. Mr. Decuellar, Davy s lawyer later brings the family an Airstream trailer from
an old friend, Tin Lurvy. Previously, it was revealed that Jeremiah had received a letter from August
about Davy s arrival. Jeremiah later recovers from his sickness, packs up the trailer, and sets off with
the family in the trailer; leaving the now dreary town of Roofing behind. Finally, the family arrives in
North Dakota and receives news on Davy s wellbeing, but also finds out that he is still on the run. All
in all, in the book Peace like a River, a negative mood is established whether it be directly from the
first chapter, when trouble enters the Land household, or through times of economic suffering. First,
negativity enters early within the first few pages during the dramatic birth of Reuben Land. When
Reuben was born, his dad, Jeremiah wasn t even in the room. He only arrived later when God was told
to have made him run to the delivery room. Sadly, Reuben s lungs were, at first, defective and it was
starting to look as if he wasn t going to make it. The doctor, Dr. Nokes had delivered the baby and had
practically given up on poor Reuben s life. It was unavoidable, he was saying; nothing could be done;
perhaps it was for the best, (2). Negativity now ensues, no

Nietzsche s On The Genealogy Of Morals
Why do we punish ? Why do we feel guilt ? How do we define what is good , bad or evil ? What
moves us to make a judgement? In On the Genealogy of Morals, Friedrich Nietzsche makes use of
three different essays ( Good and Evil , Good and Bad , Guilt , Bad Conscience , and the Like , and
What is the Meaning of Ascetic Ideals? ) that examine similar forms of his major philosophical worry:
the various origins and definitions of our different moral concepts and ideas, persistence and
progressively grave effects of Christian morality. It is generally hard to evaluate Nietzsche because he
displays such an authentic approach to value theory that it is easy to get lost in his vast collection of
ideas. In the first essay, Good and Evil , ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

promote guilt, rather it inhibited it. The punished person pays off his/her debt through punishment,
thereby nullifying all reasons to feel guilt. The moral concepts only gained their present meanings
through the rise of slave morality . Also, Nietzsche tries to determine the actual origin of conscience.
He constantly refers to this moral concept as bad conscience . To support his opinion, he provides an
example of previous times when man had no moral values and basked in his instinctive animal nature.
All of this is just an assumption of Nietzsche. Again, he fails to provide background history on his

It s the most used due to the fact that it has the least work needed after the fact. The publisher sorts out
the several possible problems and pays for the development of the game. Beyond that, generally
publishers can reach audiences far larger than other means of development. Due to this, publishers are
usually quite picky about what games they choose to fund and develop. As Ron Gilbert (2006) stated,
If you don t come in wanting to spend $10 or $15 million, it s like they don t take you seriously at
some level, Publishers have historically looked down on lower budget games and this has caused
problems in the current era of the games industry. According to Gilbert, the greatest of these problems
is the need for every game to release as a home run, not allowing for minor successes (Murdey, 2006).
With publishers almost requiring higher budget games and even of those accepting only a few games,
there are unique problems with this method of development. Some of these problems include loss of
creative control over the project and the loss of a portion of the expected audience. Ron Gilbert, while
he s gone through publishers in the past, mainly during his time developing for LucasArts, he has
rarely been able to have his games published due to changes in expectations of the game industry
(Murdey, 2006). If this is a greater sacrifice than a designer is willing to take, there are ways around
using publishers to have a game

The Drug Enforcement Administration has a long history that marks its significance and succession.
Much had been going on during the late nineteen sixties and early seventies that shaped the years
between such as: the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr., the Hippie movement, the closing days
of the Vietnam War, the disbandment of the Beatles, Woodstock, the first man on the moon, and the

Nixon began to compose and organize new ideas in order to control and resolve the rapid increase in
drug use. In doing so, the Office of Drug Abuse Law Enforcement (ODALE) was created on January
28th, 1972 which marked the beginning steps to creating the DEA ( Drug Enforcement Administration
6). The main purpose in enacting ODALE was to effectively manage and decrease the buying and
selling of heroin on the streets. The success of ODALE aided in diminishing and handling street drug
dealers and prompted the establishment of the DEA.
An executive order titled, Reorganization Plan No. 2, which was created and signed by President
Richard Nixon in 1973 was a reorganization plan that merged the Drug Abuse Law Enforcement, the
Office of National Narcotics Intelligence, US customs, and other federal offices to create a single
federal agency under the Department of Justice ( Drug Enforcement Administration 13). The
Reorganization Plan No. 2 was heard and adopted by congress and put into action as the presently

The Nature of Agency s Work Role

there were many more advantages to creating the DEA. Some of these advantages which were

The definition of deceit is when someone causes another person to believe something that is not true,
usually for a personal gain. Petruchio and Lucentio both used deception to their advantage but
Shakespeare made the outcome of their deceptions a lot different than what the audience assumed
would happen. The first big deception was on lines 273 275 on the Taming of the Shrew, Act II, Scene
II, when Petruchio told Katherine that her father gave him to marry her and it was already to set to

Once she married Petruchio she stopped acting as a shrew and started acting as a wife because for the
first time in forever she was actually given attention. Petruchio believed it was because he tamed her
but in reality she was tamed the whole time. She just wanted attention and once she was married she
was given attention constantly so she felt as if she had everything she wanted so she did not have to
act like a shrew. The second major deception was when Lucentio and Tranio disguised themselves so
they could pursue Bianca. Tranio disguised himself as Lucentio and was told to speak to Baptista
about marrying Bianca, while Lucentio was disguised as a teacher and would be able to be close to
Bianca. This worked out great due to the fact that nobody knew what Lucentio looked like so he could

During the Victorian Era, they ate food right in its natural form with almost nothing added onto it for
flavor. However, people overall were not necessarily healthier, considering the percentage of people
who were considered to be in the lower class and lived in cities. The average city working class man s
diet was inconsistent, very basic, and for the most part innutritious (Wohl). People of the working
class in the country usually had to be self reliant when it came to food because they often did not have
the money to buy food. They would raise their own meat and grow their own food. This was actually
quite healthy considering the only added things were just natural spices and flavorings. People who
lived in the city and were in the working class had a much harder time getting nourishing food since
they did not have a place to make their own food. This led to their being distinctly malnourished as
compared to the higher class and people in the country. The people of the higher class, though they
often lived in the city, had a diet similar to those in the country, but with a larger variety of foods.
They could go to restaurants to get their food, have food imported (for a price), or have others raise
their own food for them. It was hard for people of the city working class and higher class to get the
proper nutrients, but those from the farming industry tended to eat much better (Victorian Food). Their
food was very fresh, and almost completely in its natural form which makes it quite healthy. Though
the higher class got a large variety as well, their food had a few added things, and had often been
shipped in which takes nutrients away. The health of food is something that is very different now
because we rarely have food in its natural form, so we are getting less nutrients than some people

faith experience, regeneration, and life transformation more in depth, with more accuracy. With all
that I have learned, it is quite impossible to narrow that education down specifically to one area in
which I have acquired knowledge. Overall, I am in awe at how my eyes have been opened wider, and
how my spirit has been spoken to. My worldview has not changed, it has expanded to include deeper

Investigating Correlation Between Angles Of Incidence And...
Introduction
In the first part of this experiment we used a flat, concave, and convex mirror to determine the
relationship between the angle of incidence and the angle of reflection for a light rays reflection on
these mirrors, seen in Procedure A. In the second part of this experiment we used a light source, a
three way mirror, a rhombus prism, and a protractor to measure angles of a light ray. All of these
instruments and devices were used to examine the relationship of the angle of incidence and the angle
of refraction for a light ray passing through a rhombus prism, seen in Procedure B. Lastly, in the third
part of this experiment we used an acrylic rhomboid to observe the dispersion through the lens, seen in
Procedure C and then proceed with calculating the different indices or refraction for different colors of
light, seen in Procedure D.
Theory
Part A: Reflection
We observe the Law of Reflection, which states that the angle of incidence will equal the angle of
reflection coming from a beam of light. As Procedure A will show, when a beam of light is directed on
a mirror being either flat, concave, or convex the beam of light will change directions according to the
mirrors. The angle between the normal line and the first beam is known as the angle of incidence,
(ϴi). The angle between the normal and reflected beam is known as the angle of the reflection, (ϴr).
With these symbols we obtain the equation: ϴi= ϴr
Part B: Refraction
When a beam of light is directed

Psalms 8 Verses
Verse 1: The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth His handywork.
Everything God created, shows and proves that there is a God. But with the Big Bang theory,
people say that something exploded, and instead of destroying, they say this explosion created
something. Created the world. But even some of the smartest scientists in the world believe in the
Big Bang, but they themselves know that deep down, it s impossible. Only God could create the
world out of nothing.
Vers 2: Day unto day uttereth speech and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
Every day, when the frogs croak and the sun comes up, it shows God s work. And every night
when the crickets cricket and the moon comes up, it shows God s work. In Psalms 8 vers 9, it

Verse 8: The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is
pure, enlightening the eyes.
The doctrines of the Word of God have nothing crooked, froward, or perverse in them. They are in
every way righteous. The Bible cures the blindness of the soul.
Verse 9: The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and
righteous altogether.
The fear of the Lord is clean. This is clean in itself, and cleanses out the love of sin, sanctifying
the heart in which it reigns. The judgments of the Lord are true. Every punishment that God has
given to anybody, are perfect.
Verse 10: More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than
honey and the honeycomb.
The Bible s truth is more desirable than gold. Spiritual treasure is more noble and mere worldly
wealth. Spiritual treasure lasts. Gold doesn t. The sweetest joy is to have God s truth to be your
heritage.

Cindy Sherman s Conceptual Portraits
Cindy Sherman was born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey in 1954, but moved to Huntington, New York
where she grew up. Cindy went to college at the State University of Buffalo and started as a painter.
She soon became frustrated with painting because she had nothing else to express in a painting, so she
picked up a camera. Cindy Sherman is known for her photography of conceptual portraits. Conceptual
portraits tell a story or illustrate and idea. Cindy would play around with make up, costumes, and wigs
and take on the roles of the house wife, a prostitute, the woman in distress, etc... for these portraits.
These portraits would raise the challenging questions about woman in society. Although, this is not
what she intended to do.

  • 3. Threats And Vulnerabilities Of Itrust When discussing the threats and vulnerabilities of iTrust, it is important to identify the security measures to potentially rectify or prevent additional security issues. The iTrust database application presented quite a few threats and vulnerabilities. One threat discussed is the threat of a facility not having the proper equipment needed to run a secure organization. For proper security, an organization may need to invest in equipment or devices that are more secure out of the box. This means that computers and/or devices that are straight out of the box are deemed to be more secure in comparison to a computer/device that have been used. In many cases, though the computer/device may have been swiped clean, it poses a much greater threat if the system was susceptible to certain vulnerabilities before. In addition, with these secure out of the box systems it is important to verify proper installation. Organizations need to be sure that third party vendors are completely authorized to assure the information that is being installed and updated is secure in the hands of vendors/suppliers. Another issue that needs addressing when it comes to security is the configuration that is established in iTrust. The iTrust organization has an issue with user access. When discussing user access configuration, an organization may want to analyze possible configuration management. This would entail having a server administrator that would monitor the content in a repository. In this ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 6. Life, Growth, And Separation Personally Relating to Themes I can personally relate to the theme for Salvation. Although I do believe that Jesus is real, I have experienced a loss of my childlike innocence and faith in the belief that everything my elders tell me is the truth. For example, I am sure that most of us grew up with stories of Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy, among others. As a child, I believed that these people were real. However, as I grew up I began to realize that these were just stories that our parents told us to make us behave. Additionally, I can relate to the theme of life, growth, and separation. At my age, I have had numerous human experiences that have added meaning to my life and made me see myself as an adult. Plus, I have experienced the separation of myself from my parents which has helped me to form my own beliefs and become my own person. I think that the intended purposes of this story and its theme are to persuade the audience to belief in these ideas, and for entertainment. I can also personally relate to the theme for Who Will Burn Incense When Mothers Gone? . I have already addressed how I can relate to the theme of separation and growth. In addition, I have experienced a sense of loss of tradition in my family as I have grown older. As a child, I can clearly remember many traditions my family took part in. He lives a life most could only dream of. A life full of massive parties, sports cars, mansions, and booze. Yet he is missing something, he is missing the only thing that could make him truly happy, to live a life with Daisy Buchanan. He knew that when he kissed this girl, and forever wed his unutterable visions to her perishable breath, his mind would never romp again like the mind of God. (pg 119). He was in love with Daisy, and he opened up to her, only to lose her to Tom who had the money to support her. Money could not buy Gatsby happiness and finally ends up destroying him. Wealth has both benefits and dangers. Extreme wealth has the power to allow someone almost unlimited potential, however wealth can easily corrupt and change a person for the worse. Once someone has a taste of wealth they always want more. A prime example of this is the Wilsons, Myrtle and George. They both die because they truly believed money could buy them happiness. • 11. Reflection On Dreaming And Consciousness The Robert Berezin M.D. author of the article Reflections On Dreaming and Consciousness discusses what we are dreaming when we are sleeping and how they operate when we are sleeping. In the article, he claims that during sleep our muscle goes to rest and all the waste products of muscle activity eliminated. The author supports most dreams are emotional conflicts and in my dreams are emotional conflicts, when I dream about the pain, the dreams help me to settle down my emotion because I took an action against pain in my dream. The author describes that people address conflict through the dreams such as pain, hopes, sexual interest. I strongly agree with him because whenever I face conflicts, the dreams help me to settle down my emotion because I took an action against conflicts in my dream and this make me feel better. The authors mention that we do not fully remember our dreams. I think the reasons people do not remember their dreams because I believe a dream is a fantasy world, dreams are not turning out as an actual real life event. Whatever we do throughout the day and whatever consequences we face throughout the day converted into a story and we saw that image in our dreams, in fact, the dreams do not solve problems in our life, when we dream about addressing the problem we wish we could solve the problem this way. So, the dreams are kind of useless in our life, therefore, most people forget about their dreams and they only remember tiny portions. My textbook says about the dreams is our dream simply reflect life events that are important to the people. In the textbook, famous scientist Freud classified dreams as a two categorized such as manifest content and latent content. The manifest content is our important events convert into a storyline and we see the visual image, on the other hand, latent content is a hidden meaning of the dream. The psychologists also discover lucid dreams and this dream are slightly different than a regular dream because a person is conscious when they are dreaming also the dreamer control the content of the dreams. • 14. Birthday By Dorothea Tanning Summary Dorothea Tanning s painting Birthday from 1942 is an oil on canvas self portrait. The painting s prominent subject is a woman who is standing alone to the left of the canvas. She is dressed uniquely in a dark brown ruffled skirt that reaches all the way to her calves. On the sides of her skirt, there is an abundance of vine like roots overflowing from the back towards the front. Her top is an open, purple, green and white decorative jacket; revealing her bosom, chest and some of her torso. With her left hand, she is holding onto one of the many doors that are behind her yet she is looking off in a different direction from these doors. The woman has no shoes on and to the right of her feet is an animal that looks like a combination of a cat and bat that has big yellow eyes and large wings. The outfit choice of the woman reflects not only modernity but also antiquity thus, making the time represent the turn of the century. This combination of modernity and antiquity reveals something new which attributes to the portraits name, Birthday. Behind the woman and animal beside her, is a long hallway that seems to be never ending of open doors; showing that the paintings setting is indoors. The exact location is unidentifiable because there is no furniture to indicate where she is, which signifies a sense of isolation. Though the look on the woman s face and the hallway of doors initially give a perception of loneliness and unknowingness, the colors, composition, and lines create a ... Not surprisingly, all of the aforementioned authors captivated audiences with their sarcasm, wit, and humor three characteristics that are indicative of Sedaris s writing in general. Sedaris has made a career as an author and recording artist (having broadcast and recorded his works of literature numerous times) who finds insight and points of laughter in the ordinary nuances of life. Most of his articles are autobiographical in nature, or at least involve him as one of the principle characters in them. His 2004 book, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, is quite typical in this respect. An analysis of a pair of articles in this manuscript, Us and Them and The Girl Next Door , illustrates the author s propensity for detailing some of the more humorous aspects of non traditional American families. Sedaris was born in 1956, and spent part of his formative years living in upstate New York. His family would soon move down south to North Carolina in the early 1960 s, exposing the fledgling author to some semblance of city life. Is it more prevalent now or just recognized more within our society? Those diagnosed with ADHD have a hard time concentrating and are prone to outburst based on the emotions they are feeling at the time rather than reason. This is caused by lower levels of dopamine in their brains. The most commonly prescribed drug to treat ADHD is Ritalin. Family gene maps, called pedigrees, can help families with serious diseases avoid having children with the same diseases through genetic counseling, and, increasingly, prospective parents can be tested directly for the presence of undesired genes. (Prothero) Another possible use of genetics could be the production of healthy organs. For example, heart disease is one of the top causes of death in the United States. Scientists predict that they will someday be able to clone healthy heart cells and inject them into damaged areas of the heart to cure defects. There is also a possibility that doctors will be able to take healthy cells and tissue from a patient s body and use them to create organs. This would eliminate the need for organ donor waiting lists. People would no longer be facing early death because there is not a healthy heart or other organ available to them. • 28. Essay about Commentary on the Novel Peace like a River by... Negative Peace? Can something as positive as peace, sadly, turn negative? Throughout the book Peace like a River by Leif Enger, a negative mood, surprisingly, is established. When the story itself does maintain a positive influence, it s almost as if the negativity takes a higher dominance. In this novel, narrated by the middle child, Reuben, who has severe asthma, the reader is introduced to the very unique Land family. Jeremiah, the father and main provider of this family has three children, two boys and a girl; Reuben and Davy are both older than their sister Swede. However, Helen, the wife of Jeremiah and the mother of the three kids, left the family when Jeremiah turned his career path around to become a school janitor. The Land ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The Land family enters turmoil when Jeremiah is fired from his job and struggles from pneumonia. After some time, Christmas comes around and Reuben spends the money he worked very hard for on groceries for the family. Mr. Decuellar, Davy s lawyer later brings the family an Airstream trailer from an old friend, Tin Lurvy. Previously, it was revealed that Jeremiah had received a letter from August about Davy s arrival. Jeremiah later recovers from his sickness, packs up the trailer, and sets off with the family in the trailer; leaving the now dreary town of Roofing behind. Finally, the family arrives in North Dakota and receives news on Davy s wellbeing, but also finds out that he is still on the run. All in all, in the book Peace like a River, a negative mood is established whether it be directly from the first chapter, when trouble enters the Land household, or through times of economic suffering. First, negativity enters early within the first few pages during the dramatic birth of Reuben Land. When Reuben was born, his dad, Jeremiah wasn t even in the room. He only arrived later when God was told to have made him run to the delivery room. Sadly, Reuben s lungs were, at first, defective and it was starting to look as if he wasn t going to make it. The doctor, Dr. Nokes had delivered the baby and had practically given up on poor Reuben s life. It was unavoidable, he was saying; nothing could be done; perhaps it was for the best, (2). In On the Genealogy of Morals, Friedrich Nietzsche makes use of three different essays ( Good and Evil , Good and Bad , Guilt , Bad Conscience , and the Like , and What is the Meaning of Ascetic Ideals? ) that examine similar forms of his major philosophical worry: the various origins and definitions of our different moral concepts and ideas, persistence and progressively grave effects of Christian morality. He constantly refers to this moral concept as bad conscience . In the field of game design, one of the greatest problems that a designer must solve is finding a way to bring the game he has developed in his mind to his desired audience. The publisher sorts out the several possible problems and pays for the development of the game. Beyond that, generally publishers can reach audiences far larger than other means of development. Due to this, publishers are usually quite picky about what games they choose to fund and develop. As Ron Gilbert (2006) stated, If you don t come in wanting to spend $10 or $15 million, it s like they don t take you seriously at some level, Publishers have historically looked down on lower budget games and this has caused problems in the current era of the games industry. According to Gilbert, the greatest of these problems is the need for every game to release as a home run, not allowing for minor successes (Murdey, 2006). With publishers almost requiring higher budget games and even of those accepting only a few games, there are unique problems with this method of development. Some of these problems include loss of creative control over the project and the loss of a portion of the expected audience. The average city working class man s diet was inconsistent, very basic, and for the most part innutritious (Wohl). People of the working class in the country usually had to be self reliant when it came to food because they often did not have the money to buy food. They would raise their own meat and grow their own food. This was actually quite healthy considering the only added things were just natural spices and flavorings. People who lived in the city and were in the working class had a much harder time getting nourishing food since they did not have a place to make their own food. This led to their being distinctly malnourished as compared to the higher class and people in the country. The people of the higher class, though they often lived in the city, had a diet similar to those in the country, but with a larger variety of foods. They could go to restaurants to get their food, have food imported (for a price), or have others raise their own food for them. It was hard for people of the city working class and higher class to get the proper nutrients, but those from the farming industry tended to eat much better (Victorian Food). Introduction In the first part of this experiment we used a flat, concave, and convex mirror to determine the relationship between the angle of incidence and the angle of reflection for a light rays reflection on these mirrors, seen in Procedure A. In the second part of this experiment we used a light source, a three way mirror, a rhombus prism, and a protractor to measure angles of a light ray. All of these instruments and devices were used to examine the relationship of the angle of incidence and the angle of refraction for a light ray passing through a rhombus prism, seen in Procedure B. Lastly, in the third part of this experiment we used an acrylic rhomboid to observe the dispersion through the lens, seen in Procedure C and then proceed with calculating the different indices or refraction for different colors of light, seen in Procedure D. Theory Part A: Reflection We observe the Law of Reflection, which states that the angle of incidence will equal the angle of reflection coming from a beam of light. As Procedure A will show, when a beam of light is directed on a mirror being either flat, concave, or convex the beam of light will change directions according to the mirrors. The angle between the normal line and the first beam is known as the angle of incidence, (ϴi). The angle between the normal and reflected beam is known as the angle of the reflection, (ϴr).
