It’s an imaginary line that goes around the middle of the Earth and divides it in two parts. 10. What are the names of the two parts that the Equator divides the Earth into? The Northern Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere. 11. What are the cardinal points? North, South, East and West. 12. What are the intermediate points? North-East (NE), South-East (SE), North-West (NW) and South- West (SW). 13. Where does the needle on a compass always point? To the North. 14.
