I have been involved in many projects over the last 16 years, operating at almost every level
within the NDT, Inspection & fabrication/welding/Casting/coating/painting industries,
Approved by ADCO, ARAMCO which has enabled me to take on demanding roles such as NDT
manager/supervisor, NDT L-III engineer, QC Manager, Sr. NDT/Welding Engineer, RTFI
inspector/Co-coordinator, Welding supervisor. These positions have allowed me to develop a
high level of attainment in constructional, and inspection engineering.

Engineer (Welding/NDT L-III) under witnessing of ADCO from 1 May 2015 to 20 June,
2016 at Abu Dhabi in UAE.
2) Worked with M/S GS Engineering & Construction as an NDT Level-III Inspector
(Aramco approved) from 12July 2014 to March 2015 under client witnessing of Aramco
Overseas Company B.V. and Sumitomo Chemical Co. LTD at Rabigh Phase-II
Petrochemical Project in KSA.
3) Worked with M/S NDT DIVISION as an Operational Manager (NDT Level-III) from 1

Overall Responsibilities: -
o Verify that nondestructive tests have been correctly performed according to the
approved NDE procedure, WPS and Isometric drawing.
o Conduct preconstruction meetings with new and existing NDT/Welding/Fabrication
subcontractors at least two days prior to the start of each new phase of the work to
discuss issues that affect quality. Document these meetings in the daily QC report.

o Implement NDT procedures as laid out in Technical Procedure Manual and industry
standards
o Interpret & evaluate results of Non Destructive tests & advance NDT like AUT, PAUT,
and TOFD according to the applicable standards, codes and/or specifications to ensure
eventual issues are promptly addressed.
o Reviewing , developing & witnessing for NDT & PWHT inspection like RT,MT,PT, MUT,
PAUT,TOFD,AUT,PMI,FT,HT for its demonstration, calibration of NDT equipments and
production weld joints.
o Report the overall quality performances of the company to management and make
recommendations to improve and initiate those recommendations.
o Providing technical leadership to NDT operations, including review of NDT reports
o Oversee all safety aspects of day-to-day NDT operations.
o Understanding and resolving Customer’s technical requirements.
o Maintain personnel expertise and formal certification in the appropriate NDT disciplines.
o Constantly explore and seek better ways and more efficient methods of allowing the
business to perform NDT in the most optimal manner.
o Establishing NDT techniques and procedures in support of client requirements and
interpreting codes and standards.
o Reviewing & approving of NDT procedures before submitting for Client approvals.
o Oversee Written Practice and Certification programs.
o Works with and provides training for NDT inspectors in techniques of NDT inspection
and other related duties.
o Review documentation to ensure that all previous operations have been completed
prior to NDT as required.
o Provide NDT training and encouragement to new NDT employees to support their
involvement in the operations.
o Qualifying of NDE personnel after demonstration and examination.
o Review of Radiation Safety procedure.
o Ensure approval status of an NDE service provider.
o Conducting monthly internal audits to improve better quality.
o Supervise welding procedure qualifications to be employed at site and ensure that the
only qualified welders are doing welding according to the project specifications and
standards.
o To check the execution of non-destructive tests and heat treatment that all repairs are
performed correctly and non-destructive tests are regularly repeated.
o To obtain any necessary approval from company for changing, as appropriate, welding
procedures and for performing repairs requiring special procedures.
o Verify and document that all welding/coating/painting/NDT materials received for the
project are in conformance with the approved submittal, are handled and stored
appropriately and are acceptable for use in the project.
o Planning duties within the QA/QC staff and related work schedules.
o Oversee supervision of all visual inspections and NDE, including third party
subcontractors.
o Identify and develop solutions to correct inspection function deficiencies.

o Witnessing of destructive test like Tensile, Impact, Hardness, Macro/Micro, Root/Face
bend, SSC, SOHIC for PQT and WQT as per ISO -13847 and ASME Sec-IX standard.
o Witnessing for WQT, EQT, PQR, Joint coating, marker fabrication as per approved WPS &
procedures.
o Preparation & review of ITP, WPS, WQTR, EQTR, Welder ID Card and QCP for welding,
3LPP, 3LPE, FBE Coating for pipeline.
o Review daily/weekly/monthly NDT/welding progress reports, welder performance, and
Weekly rejection rate and submit to Client.
o Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related
concerns.
o Check calibration of measurement instruments and related certifications
o Review NDE personnel CVs, Interview and acceptance before sending for Client
interview or approval and Keep NDE personnel CVs and Certificates for future review by
Client.
o Random visit at site for verification of WPS, Method statements, NDE & PWHT
procedures are in place.
o Review of Isometric drawing for its proper NDE coverage and WPS.
o Attending weekly meeting to mitigate the NDE backlog to zero with NDE Subcontractor
o Liaise with the welding Forman, engineers, construction, qc manager to take corrective
action to minimize percentage of weld repair and how to increase the progress.
o Monitor inventory and serviceability of all NDT & welding equipments.
o Arrange external NDE agency for specific jobs on need basis
o Maintain the correct level of consumable stock level
o Verify and ensure that test results submitted are accurate and reliable
o Monitor the performance of technicians & radioactive devices for any radiation leakage.
o Inspect the radioactive devices for safe operation
o Ensure the availability of NDT /Welding instruments and its consumables.
o Visual Inspection before, during and after welding, during coating, holiday test,
backfilling, pre and post hydro test.
o Lead a team of inspectors and provide supervision, troubleshooting and recommend.
o Establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system.
o Review daily, weekly and monthly progress reports and site inspection for weld visual,
NDT, weld repair, Joint coating, lowering, Duct lying, Backfilling, OFC Blowing & hydro
test.
o Performed Ultrasonic Testing of casting, Forging, plate, welding of butt joints, nozzles &
MT of pressure vessels, piping, structure, casting, by fluorescent/non fluorescent, wet
and dry method. PT of various types of weld joints in the field of refinery, petrochemical
plant, Tubular Heat Exchanger, Hydro Power plant and gas and oil pipeline projects.
o Perform Radiography Testing using Ir-192, Co-60 source & X-ray machine for different
types of joints.
o Preparation of NDT request and raise RFI for NDT & PWHT activities
o Inspection of pipe tubes for dimension, thickness, pitting, dents etc
