Memory plays a very important role in our academic growth and improving our
skills. The purpose of this paper is to review a study by Stipek Valentino (2015),
which examines associations between attention and memory and academic skill
development. Stipek Valentino (2015) used longitudinal data from the children of the
National Longitudinal Survey of Youth to measure how well attention and short term
and working memory in early childhood predict growth trajectories in both math and
reading comprehension through adolescence and education attainment in young
adulthood (Stipek Valentino, 2015). The study indicated that the relationship between
working memory and attention in academic outcomes was observed to be strong and
positive in early childhood but not significant during the later years (Stipek Valentino,
2015). The results of the study suggest that core cognitive capacities predict learning
in the early elementary grades, but the relationship weakens by late elementary
school. These findings suggest that while efforts to develop attention and memory
may improve academic achievement in the early grades, during the later grades
interventions that focus directly on learning the subject matter are more likely to

water to about one fourth of the original concentration in less than 20 hours. Due to
the success in a small scale lab experiment, there is a need for me to test the PHA
fibrous mat in a large scale environment to successfully assess its denitrifying
effectiveness. I propose that the most suitable large scale environment to test the

school teachers from school districts we serve that were impacted by Hurricane
Harvey. Eight middle school teachers will be trained by San Jacinto College science
faculty on eleven different science experiment activities. Teachers will be given

Transcendentalism was a movement that started in the 1830 40s which valued
concepts such as the ideas of carpe diem, non conformity, and finding one s own
beliefs. The idea of transcendentalism is present throughout the movie Dead Poets
Society, directed by Peter Weir, and in the essay Walden, written by Henry David
Thoreau. In Dead Poets Society, the idea of transcendentalismis demonstrated through
a group of teenage boys going to an all boys school, being taught by an eccentric
English teacher. The same concepts are also shown in the piece, Walden, this essay
is a series of journal entries written during a two year stay in the woods near a pond.
Both pieces of work exemplify the necessity of enjoying life and living it to the fullest

Subspace model identification (SMI) method is the effective method in identifying
dynamic state space linear multivariable systems. Subspace identification, a sequence
of state vectors can be obtained directly from the input and output data. From a
numerical point of view, the SMI algorithms are not appropriate for online
implementation because of the SVD computational complexity. For industrial
applications, it is essential to have online recursive algorithms for model
identification, where parameters can vary in time. Indeed, in many online
identification scenarios, it is important to update the model as time goes on with a
reduced computational cost. The main problem with recursive subspace identification
is the SVD computation that is burdensome to update. Thus, it is necessary to find
the alternative algorithms in order to apply the subspace concept in a recursive
framework. In this paper, recursive subspace identification algorithm based on the
propagator method which avoid the SVD computation is proposed.
