The Fall Choral Concert was held in Pasadena City College, on Friday November
4, 2016 at 8pm. The concert was an hour and half long and was performed in the
Westerbeck Recital Hall (CA 140). The performs of this concert were mostly students

Introduction Childhood development encompasses the cognitive, physical, social,
moral and emotional changes from birth until the end of adolescence (White, Hayes
Livesey, 2013). Throughout childhood, environment and genetics promote or
discourage growth and development. This essay will analyse the cognitive, physical,
social, moral and emotional domains in relativity to my own development from the
prenatal stage until adolescence. Psychological and environmental theories are used to

By responding with care and comfort, this enables for an attachment bond to form
between the infant and caregiver, most commonly the mother (White et al., 2013).
Following on from Bowlby s theory, Mary Ainsworth investigated the theory of
attachment through observing the reactions of infants when their mothers left them

the world around him and what he sees, adds vital information to the story. In order
for the reader to better comprehend the story, Hemingway introduces the reader to

started moving to this newly discovered land. As a result of this, numerous colonies
were formed in America. The Spanish settlers were the first to immigrate to America.
They formed colonies in the West Indies, Mexico and South America. On the other

In his Letter to the Grand Duchess Christina and Ballarmine, Galileo s disagreement
about the relationship between Copernicanism and Scripture was rooted in Galileo s
views of the separation between theology and astronomy. The purpose of this letter
was to show that the Catholic Church s condemnation of Conpernicanism is
inappropriate since Galileo claims that arguments about the physical world have no
bearing on church authority, as it was properly understood. I will argue that the
Catholic Church s rejection of Galileo s ideas was because of the Church s desire for
