My chosen reader is a real life example chosen of a mixed
raced, 16year old, streetwise and sociable girl from South
London. I’ve chosen Leia as she conforms to the typical
representation of South London girls in general as she shares
many interests with them also currently studying AS/A Levels
and BTEC Courses at College. She is a key target audience
member as my magazine is aimed at her age group, and it
is also helpful that she enjoys the similar range of music
genres that my magazine is featuring and based upon. It is
essential I have completed a target audience profile to
generalise the audience I am targeting my magazine at.
This can help me work out what I should include in my final
product.
