This document discusses systems and the science inquiry learning cycle. It defines a system as something that does something using interconnected parts that have inputs and outputs. It then explains the science inquiry learning cycle, which has four phases - explore, where students observe and collect evidence; develop concept, where students analyze observations and introduce key terms; apply, where students practice and apply their new understanding; and evaluate, where students assess their learning.
