2. Learning Preferences
• In the beginning of the semester, when I took the preference
learning quiz, my score came out to this: reflective – 3, sensing
– 9, visual – 7 and sequential – 5. In the end of the
semester, I’m still consider myself a visual learner because I
remember things easier if I can see what I am learning or
write everything down when someone is saying important in
order to study or to memorize. Although my reflective score is
low, I feel I’m a reflective learner because I like to think or
write down what I want to say before a presentation/speaking
in front of class or group work. In order for me to become a
better learner, I would need an explanation or show me to do
things in order for me to understand the materials even if I am
a visual learner.

3. Learning Pathway
• I picked learning sage because I have not really work with
multimedia intensively even though I use computer on a daily
basis for school. The only thing I know program I use when it
comes to putting all my music together is itune since I use to
use IPod as my music device. I would want to learn more and
gain more knowledge about multimedia of how people create
storytelling of an anime movies and even putting music
together in one CD. My learning pathway has not change
because I will always continue learning something new every
day whether at school or at work.

4. Activities
• Based on the lecture and the technology activities that we use
in ilearn are screencasts and podcasts. The only activities that
I did for these two programs are the quizzes because I have
never used or never heard about these two programs. Plus I
have never record or download any audio file of video or
voices through these programs. If I wanted to record an audio
sound, I would use my IPhone voice recorder which it has
provided for me and I can upload to my computer. Same thing
for video, I can use my digital camera or camcorder if I want to
make a movie. I don’t go to extreme. I can do what is basic
and easy to use.

• Podcasts, the way I can explore my own learning with this
program how to edit my own audio file if I had sign up for
podcast. I would ask anyone who know how to use podcast.
Usually I would google anything or youtube if I want to see
example of how to do something I don’t know anyone who
does not use podcast.

6. Synthesizing my experiences
• Podcasts and screencasts are the only things I have learn through ITEC
299 class for multimedia technologies so I would like to want to use as a
learning tools. Some of the reasons it is interesting to learn something
about these kind of program because I want to know how to edit movies
or audio file and even learn how to create my own movies. The
multimedia technologies that I want to explore my learning is how to
convert audio recording into text because when I record a lectures or
anything, sometimes there are word that I do not know how to spell.
Plus it is easier for me to have text version from a record lectures so I do
not have to rehear the lectures again since it is time consuming.

• None of these multimedia technologies may not work with my learning
preference because I feel that it can be time consuming and it can take
me a while to work with any multimedia technology especially if I never
work with this kind of program before. Even though I good at using
computer, multimedia is not my specialty. I only know the basic.

7. What’s next
• Since the class does talk much about multimedia, I would not
continue to use any multimedia strategy after I am done with
this class. I would not be something I would use for any type
of work because I don’t want to work in a company that deals
with multimedia in daily basis if I don’t use it every day myself.

• Similar to the previous paragraph, I would not use any
multimedia technologies after class because I do not use it
very often. Multimedia is not something that I would consider
as a career. Although I love music and movies, I leave it to the
people who enjoy using multimedia while it is not for me.
