This document summarizes a student's digital portfolio created for their English course. The portfolio included slides on the student's course expectations, their best composition, a favorite quote, an inspiring person, their blogging experience, favorite activity, personal values, and a video they created. Through creating the portfolio, the student learned how to publish a blog and upload videos. They reflected on improving their vocabulary and oral English skills. They found creating and sharing the portfolio with classmates helped them learn and connect over shared interests.

 The digital portfolio helps students to apply their knowledge by
writings and oral expressions. In my case it helped me to improve my
vocabulary.
 While I was creating this portfolio I learned to publish in blogger and to
upload videos to Youtube. We made a really good use of technology.

At the beginning of this course I said that
I wanted to speak English not just understand it
And I feel that I have improved in this part but
not at the point I wanted. On the other hand my
vocabulary and TOEFL skills have improve.

I choose this one because it shows
my feelings about one of the most
interesting person for me: Bill Gates.
I just had a few mistakes, so that´s
something really good for me.

In this activity my classmates showed their feeling through
the quotes, they talked about life, hope, love and sadness.
My favorite quote was one by Paulo Coelho that says “No one
loses anyone, because no one owns anyone” because I think that
we are free to love.

An inspiring person

With this activity I improved my vocabulary and
learn new connectors.
Sharing this to my classmates was something amazing
because with this activity I knew that in my class
there were people with the same interest like me.

I have to admit that this was something new for me.
I learned how to make comics and this was
awesome. It was useful to make use of my vocabulary
and to think how to use it in a normal chat..

• I think that the teacher ask us to do this activity because it is
fundamental for her to know what did her students enjoyed more
• I didn't ask me after about which was my favorite activity, but now
I think that every activity was special to my learning.

• I think that there are criminals because their fathers didn’t
think in the importance of teaching values.
• I think that the teacher ask us for our values to know
more about who we are.
• I always try to think about this and ask me if I am who I
want to be.

The idea began while I was chatting with a friend about how slow that is her computer is. She
told me that when she visited a page always came out (to be shown visibly or clearly) a pop-
up showing ads, then I told her about a way to block almost all the ads in the Internet so her
computer could be faster than before.
I had used before a software called Camtasia Studio so I downloaded the trial version and
began to record. Actually I felt really conformable because of the capacities of this software; it
lets me record my webcam, microphone and my screen at the same time. If I had recorded the
video with my iPod this software would have let me join this video with the one that I record
using my screen. This made it so easy to work on my topic but it would have been easier if I
had had a faster computer. I really admire my teacher because she is the only one teacher that
I know that made use of these techniques that makes a good use of the capacity of our
computers.
Now that I´m done with this homework I fell so free because now I can study for other topics
like programming. My expectation for the presentation is good because I made a really good
effort making this video so I can get a good grade in this oral exam. I took this chance to
improve mi English skills so I can do my best in the TOEFL test.
