When I first took the learning preferences survey at the beginning of the semester, I received a
4/10 when I wasn’t really paying attention. But when I attempted the survey again, I received a 10/10.
At the end of class, my thinking of my learning preference has not changed. I still feel I learn the best
the way I described in the survey. By watching and listening. My thinking of learning references has
not changed in any significant way overall. I feel knowing about the different options of learning
preferences gives me options if one is not working out to well.
The learning pathway I chose at the beginning o the class was the path of the learning sage. I
wanted to learn about technology’s and devices that I could use in my general Education. The reason I
stuck with pathway and did not switch to a different pat is because after reading about the other paths ,
this one seemed to stick out to me the most and work the best for me. After I attempted a handful of the
activities in the method of the learning sage, I’m confident that I still made the right choice in my
descion.
The activities that I completed did contribute to my learning pathway. Some specific activities
that contributed to me getting a broader and deeper understanding were the ones relating to how I could
use devices such as my iPod in my learning. Such as downloading certain apps to help me study like an
app for flash cards. Or to download a professors class in audio format to listen to later for more
studying. The activities that helped me with studying with groups would probably be the micro blogs.
Te reason being is because its the easiest out of the group to post questions and get answers from.
Granted you can use them on the other two devices.
Ipod/mp3 players. The way I used this was in the way I mentioned earlier. By using apps to help
me study such as ones for using flash cards on my Iphone. I also used it to make podcast of certain
teachers lectures so I can listen to them again to make sure I did not miss anything. I think this
technology accommodates my learning style because I can address my two main styles. I’m able to
look at the technology while im working on it with flash cards, so by going over them so many times, I
eventually learn it. Also, by being able to listen to it,I get to make sure I don’t miss anything.
Ipads and tablets. By using apps to help me study such as ones for using flash cards on my

sure I did not miss anything. I think this technology accommodates my learning style because I can
address my two main styles. As I mentioned above, i can look at while working on it. So I learn it
eventually through so many tries. I think another reason it works is through familiarity, they have a lot
of similar functions to laptops that I’m already kind of used to it.
Microblogs. By using a microblog I was able to communicate with people to get better
understandings of subjects by asking people online. I used it twice but the results were not very
satisfactory. I do not the technology because I don’t really get to go over material as often as I do with
others, I can but it doesn't seem to be as effective. I think its just my personal hangs up about these
kinds of sites. I also don't depending on something that depends on if people feel like responding.
The mobile technologies that interested me the most as learning tools were the Ipod/Mp3
players, and the Ipad/tablets. Which technologies surprised the most as learning tools were the
MP3/Ipods. The mobile technology I found to work the least successful was the microblog. While I
didn't necessarily find in unsealable. It was just unusable for me. The reason being is I think its just
2. my personal hangs up about these kinds of sites. I also don't depending on something that depends on if
people feel like responding.
The Devices I found the most useful were the Ipod/mp3 players. The reason is because of what I
mentioned previously. By using apps to help me study such as ones for using flash cards on my Iphone.
I also used it to make podcast of certain teachers lectures so I can listen to them again to make sure I
did not miss anything. I think this technology accommodates my learning style because I can address
my two main styles. I’m able to look at the technology while im working on it with flash cards, so by

sure I don’t miss anything.
The mobile learning strategies I will continue to use are probably only the Ipod/mp3 players.
Mainly because I see them as the most effective for me and my learning style. The way I see myself
using some of the learning strategies is if I’m in a corporation preparing to give speech for my
company to another company for something like a merger. I can practice with flash cards I made on
app for my Ipod so I don’t completely bomb my speech.
What technology I will continue to use to continue learning after this class is again the
Ipod/Mp3 player. The reason being is I dont find ia useful as an Ipad, but ipads are really expensive and
I already have a laptop. While an Ipod is moile and im constantly on it anyway, so I might as well use
the tools I have available to me on something im constantly on. As ive mentioned before, if im trying to
learn something like a recipe I plan to use a lot, I can use the flash card app to learn it quicker. The
technology I will no longer use is the Microblog, because I found it ineffective. Seeing as I dont like
the genre.
