hesitation, as this is a process by which people hesitate to complete a task rather than finishing it
quickly. Some might wait until the last minute before a deadline, others may start a project and have

completing a task in time. While not completing a task is not as definitive as procrastination as
hesitation since procrastinators are generally known for doing their work. Procrastination is somewhat
healthy while being unable or unwilling to complete needed jobs is inherently unhealthy. One might
also say that procrastination in necessary to make informed decisions, to prepare for a speech or
presentation that has to be delivered, or even to study for a test. The longer one waits, the more time
one has to gather additional information informally and to come into the correct mindset to do good
work. To utilize the examples above one may wait to commit to a date or social gathering due to the
possibility of other tasks that may need to be prioritized. As far as giving a presentation or speech, one
must not only know the content, he or she must also be physiologically prepared to face an audience
