Before William Bryan became a congressman, he practiced law in Jacksonville in 1883 1887

Our science experiment was to try and figure out which disinfectant was the most effective on
killing bacteria. We chose seven different disinfectants and tested them on gram positive and
gram negative bacteria to see which would have the largest zone of inhibition after 23 hours in an
incubator at 28 degrees. This experiment taught me a lot of useful things for the future such as

Abstract An experiment was undertaken to isolate and identify the seed borne fungi of Green gram.
Seed samples of three Green gram varieties were collected from Pulse research station, NAU,
Navsari. PDA plating method was employed for the isolation of the fungi and cultural, microscopic
study was adopted for the identification. Altogether nine fungi were found in association Viz., M.
phaseolina, A. alternata, C. capsici, N. sphaerica, Chaetomium sp., Aspergillus sp., R. oryzae,
sterile aseptate and sterile septate fungus with all the three variety seed lots.

Green gram (Vigna radiata (L.) Wilczek) is one of the most important pulse crop of the arid and
semiarid tropics (Chen et al., 1987). It is an excellent source of easily digestible protein. Several
factors are responsible for low production of Green gram. Among them, diseases play an important
role (Nene, 1980; Pal, 1996). Many fungal pathogens, some of which are seed transmitted, often

In 1944, with ClarkВґs encouragement and financial support from Phipps father, the Northside
Testing and Treatment Center was opened in Harlem. In 1948 it became the Northside Center for
Child Development, it provided testing services and psychological consultations for behavioral
problems. They realized that the Board of Education wasn t doing proper testing for minority
students. The students were put into special needs classes, so Clark started to do his own testing
and realized that many of these students intelligence was above average. (Nyman, 2010). The

Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated, the African Americans who were part of the APA were
tired of the organization not addressing black issues. Their frustrations began the formation of the
Association of Black Psychologist (ABPsi). In 1970, Clark was the first African Americanto be
selected as the president of the APA (Nyman, 2010). While he held the position, he brought in his
social knowledge and ethical sense to make the APA socially conscious. He helped APA respond to
the volatile 1960s (Jones Pettigrew, 2005). During Clark s presidency, groups of underrepresented
