Swiss albino female mice that were randomly divided into two groups after
acclimatization. The animals of the treatment group stress (n=5) were exposed to
a series of different environmental mechanical chronic stress with different stressors
for 16 weeks. Control animals (n=5) were not given chronic stress. Animals of both
groups were weighed weekly along with weekly feed consumption, weekly fasting
blood glucose monitoring. Blood from retro orbital plexus was collected before
sacrifice of animals ethically for analysis of HbA1c, serum HDL, VLDL, LDL,
triglycerides. Results: Fasting blood glucose levels in the treatment group of the
experiment were significantly higher compared to control mice. Total cholesterol,
