PayrollAnalyst – Oman (July 2012 till October 2014)
Main Duties:
I was handling Oman Home Country (Local) and Geo-mobile Payroll in Middle East Regional
Support centre in Dubai since 2012, handled around 1600 employee’s payroll and also the
Middle East and Asia Pension Plans for over 5000 employees participating in Zurich Pension
Plan (SMPP & GMPP)
Dealing with employees on daily basis over a number of sensitive issues and
complex problems in a professional manner to ensure highest level of employee
services standards. Respond to queries from employees, managers and Personnel.
Responsible for payroll supervision of over 1600+ employees based in Oman paid
via 4 different payrolls. Comply with all applicable Schlumberger standards and
policies
Reviewing Cross checking of Payroll Variation reports.
Performing all associated checks, controls and reconciliations
Coordination with PR Department & Finance Team for all Cost Allocations.
Coordinate with Line Management of location and Regional Support Centre for all
Employee Personnel issues.
Assisting Location Segments with the Technical Payroll issues and Reports
Prepare reports for Senior Management for Vacation, Sick Leave, Work Accident,
Over Time.
Ensure compliance with the Data Privacy & Protection Guidelines and relevant
legislation.
Country champion for bonus and attendance reporting payroll system (Load Chart).
This included controlling and auditing, troubleshooting and training new
administrators or managers responsible for payroll reporting.
Maintaining data integrity of the payroll database by conducting regular audits and
reviews.
Plan and implement process improvements to streamline, to save company costs
and man hours.
EOSB- Final Settlements Preparation & follow ups
Schlumberger Middle East Pension Plan Administrator of Zurich contributions for
over 5000 employees monthly for local and geo mobile staff.
2. Conducting Open Houses / Meetings for Employees on the Fields and Bases in
Oman to address problem of the employees and solve their entire Payroll related
issues.
Assisting with the coaching and development of new team members.
Working on SAP, AskHR, RAMCO, Load Chart and Lawson for all employees Data
and Reporting procedures.
