Responsibilities
 Responsible for 150 employees in Egypt, Levant and North Africa regions and report directly to
Country Manager
 Run periodic trainings for selling and communication skills in order to streamline systems in all
regions
 Monitor regular office expenses i.e. travel, maintenance, petty cash etc.., review monthly/yearly
reports and ensure compliance with budget
 Coordinate activities and exchange information with Middle East office in Dubai and head office in
Geneva
 Achieved 58% of the targeted lay-off plan upon the merger of Hewlett-Packard with Compaq in May
2002
 Restructured salaries and benefits scheme in order to harmonize the two different systems due to
the merger. Re-writing new job descriptions according to the new organization structure was a prior
step.
 Amended company policies and procedures for customs clearance by which decreased process
from 2 weeks to 3 working days
 Managed to create harmony between the two teams by organizing regular employees' activities and
