2. INTRODUCTION
❖ The Warning Messages and Alerts allow you to configure alerts on the customers and
vendors or products.
❖ Generating Warning Messages in the purchase module will be helpful to give alert
notifications if the platform contains multiple users within a company.
❖ If you have enabled the Warning Message in your system it will be visible for other users
while entering the platform within the same system inside a company..

3. ❖ Goto Purchasing > Configuration > Settings

4. ❖ For this, you can enable the ‘Warnings’ option under the Orders field in the Settings menu.

5. ❖ You can select the following types of warnings and create different warnings for
purchases and sales:
○ Warning: This option displays the warning message during the process, but
allows the user to continue.
○ Blocking Message: The message displays a warning message, but the user
cannot continue the process further.
❖ To set warnings on Vendors: Go to Purchases ‣ Vendors

6. ❖ Open the vendor and click on the Internal Notes tab. There you can find an option to set
Warning on Purchase Tab > SAVE your changes.

7. ❖ Now Goto Purchase > Purchase Quotations/Orders > Add your vendor and we will get a
blocking message for this vendor

8. ❖ To set warnings on Products: Go to Purchases ‣ Products .

9. ❖ Open the product and click on the Purchase tab where we have an option to set a
warning when purchasing the product.

10. ❖ Now Goto Purchase > Purchase Quotations/Orders > Add your Product to the line and we
will get a warning message for this product.

11. ❖ By clicking OK we can continue with adding this product to the order line if you need to.
