It could be advantageous if you can connect such good feelings with your company. Odoo 15 allows the management of discounts on each order line of sale, the total order of sale, and in customer invoice as well. The discount can be in percentage or maybe a certain amount. When a sale order is created a percentage amount can be deducted as a discount on the sale order line. The discount feature can be enabled from the sales module configuration settings.

or discount. It could be advantageous if you can connect such good feelings with your
company.
❖ Odoo allows the management of discounts on each order line of sale, the total order of
sale, and in customer invoice as well. The discount can be in percentage or maybe a
certain amount.
❖ When a sale order is created a percentage amount can be deducted as a discount on the
sale order line. The discount feature can be enabled from the sales module configuration
settings.

3. ❖ First of all, Goto Sales module > Configuration > Settings.

4. ❖ To activate the discounts feature in Odoo 15 go to Sales > Configuration > Settings > Enable
Discounts. And save your changes.

5. ❖ Now from Orders > Orders create a sale order.

6. ❖ After adding product to the line specify the discount percentage on that product. And we can
see the subtotal after discount. CONFIRM your sale order.

7. ❖ Click on the Customer Preview Smart button.

8. ❖ From preview we can see the discount percentage and amount after discount

9. ❖ And we can also apply discounts by using price lists. So from settings enable Pricelists
option and save your changes.

10. ❖ After that goto Products > Pricelists.

11. ❖ Specify your prielists name and currency and Under price rules click on Add a line for
adding rules.

12. ❖ We will get a prompt like this.Here we will get 3 options for price computation and the
option for selecting conditions.

13. ❖ Select Apply on product then we have to specify to which product we have to apply this rule.
Select the product and also we can specify the min.quantity to satisfy and the validity.

14. ❖ Under Configuration tab set Discount policy as Show public price & discount to the
customer.

15. ❖ After that create a sale order for the customer.

16. ❖ Let’s add your pricelist and product to the product line, we will get discount percentage
after adding product and subtotal after discount.

17. ❖ We can also use Coupon programs for applying discounts. Goto Products > Coupon
Programs.

18. ❖ Select Reward as Discount, here we are applying discount as fixed amount of 300. Save
your coupon program details and click on GENERATE COUPON .

19. ❖ Provide number of coupons and GENERATE.

20. ❖ To access generated coupon click on COUPON smart button.

21. ❖ Click on the coupon and copy the code, then goto sales module create a sale order.

22. ❖ Click on the coupon button for applying discount.

23. ❖ Enter the coupon code and APPLY.

24. ❖ A new line added to the order line and we will total after discounts and CONFIRM your
order. Like same we add discount from promotion programs.
