This document provides an overview of contributor personality development program created by electrical engineering students at SVIT, Vasad. It defines what contribution is, who a contributor is, and explores the scope of contribution an individual can make to themselves, their team/organization, and society. It provides examples of contributing beyond one's own duties to help others achieve their goals, developing one's own skills through work, investing in long-term team/organization benefits, and seeking to benefit the larger community. The document emphasizes that tough circumstances present opportunities to make more contributions, not just problems to avoid.
CPDP: To recognize “contributor qualities” in action, and understand why cont...Dhrumil Panchal
This presentation is useful in to increase contribution qualities in human and also for them who study about contributor personality development program.
1.THE CONTRIBUTOR WORK IDEAL (CPDP) 3150004 GTUVATSAL PATEL
In this topic, students explore what is their “ideal” of work - is the ideal
to be a “worker” or to be a “contributor”? For example, an employee
who has the ideal of a “worker” goes to work to pass time, earn a
living, get benefits; in contrast to an employee with the ideal of a
“contributor” who wants to make a difference, get things done well,
create value for the company. This enables students to transform their
expectation of themselves in work

It contains information about definition of contributor, type of contributor, examples of contributor. Also it contains about non-contributor and its examples.
In this topic, students engage with the question “who am I?” or on what basis do they define themselves. Is their identity defined by what others think of them (extrinsic self-esteem) or by what they think of themselves (intrinsic self-esteem)? Further, they discover positive identities that lead to intrinsic self-esteem, such as an I-can identity based on one’s capacity and inner strength. This enables them to build confidence and self-esteem.

5. CAREER DEVELOPMENT MODELS (CPDP) 3150004 GTUVATSAL PATEL
In this topic, students explore a range of diverse “career development models” and the possibilities for contribution each opens up to them (e.g. start-up career model, change-maker career model, etc.). This opens their mind to different and even unconventional career models possible, beyond the usual (such as “stable large company career model” where one gets an engineering degree, then MBA, then get a job in a large company). This frees them from a herd mentality when making career choices.

Entrepreneurs play an important role in bringing in economic changes and advancements to a country's economy. Among the contributions are such as innovation and job creation. As entrepreneurship is synonymous with self employed, it is believed to be an effective procedure in dealing with the issue of employability, especially among the young people. In the dynamic society, the entrepreneurs predict the future and smell the undesirable consequences well in advance and at the same time they identify the business opportunities. The first step for a successful entrepreneur is to predict the future with all accuracy. The purpose of present study is to find out what exactly makes a successful entrepreneur. The case study discusses the potential of drone delivery and the challenges that need to be addressed before it becomes widespread.
Key takeaways:
Drone delivery is in its early stages: Amazon's trial in the UK demonstrates the potential for faster deliveries, but it's still limited by regulations and technology.
Regulations are a major hurdle: Safety concerns around drone collisions with airplanes and people have led to restrictions on flight height and location.
Other challenges exist: Who will use drone delivery the most? Is it cost-effective compared to traditional delivery trucks?
Discussion questions:
Managerial challenges: Integrating drones requires planning for new infrastructure, training staff, and navigating regulations. There are also marketing and recruitment considerations specific to this technology.
External forces vary by country: Regulations, consumer acceptance, and infrastructure all differ between countries.
Demographics matter: Younger generations might be more receptive to drone delivery, while older populations might have concerns.
Stakeholders for Amazon: Customers, regulators, aviation authorities, and competitors are all stakeholders. Regulators likely hold the greatest influence as they determine the feasibility of drone delivery.

2. SCOPE OF CONTRIBUTION
THE LEVEL UPTO WHICH AN INDIVIDUAL CAN CONTRIBUTE
In every work, every role,
there is a possibility of
-Contributing to self
-Contributing to
team/organization
-Contributing to society
3. Outline
• What is Contribution ?
• Who is a Contributor ?
• Scope of Contribution – concept exploration
• Possible ways to Contribute
• Scope of Contribution – concept applications
4. What is Contribution ?
• The common meaning of contribution is the
part played by a person in bringing about the
result
• Contribution is the act of a person for the
success of the team/company as well as for
improving his/her personal capabilities,
personal fulfillment etc.
5. Who is a Contributor ?
• Contributors define themselves in terms of
what they will become or accomplish (e.g.
capacity to deliver, commitment and
ownership of the organization’s purpose, etc.).
This is a dynamic identity based on your
“being” and “becoming”. Such an identity lets
you choose to live a better future.
• Contributors have a deeper and wider
definition of success than the non-
contributors.
7. Scope of Contribution
• The scope of contribution refers to the
extension of the contribution provided by an
individual to the team/organization, self, or
the society.
• Defines the level of how much he/she can
contribute towards the goal.
9. 1) Contribution to not only performing own duty/ activity,
but also trying to achieve the purpose of others.
Example:
10. 2) An individual who “Contributes to Self” not only performs
activities, but also tries to systematically develop his/her
own self through these activities.
11. 3) The contribution to the team/organization by an individual
not only meets the targets, but also invests into long term
benefits, strengths of the team/organization.
12. 4) An individual who “Contributes to Society” goes beyond
commercial or organizational goals, and seeks to achieve
the goals or purposes of the larger community / society
13. The possibilities of contribution
by an individual
1) What contributions he/she can make to self ?
- Example 2
2) What contributions he/she can make to the
team/organization?
- Example 1,3
3) What contributions can be made to the society?
- Example 4
15. “Building capability of my team is as important as
my own development”
Example
Amit and Sudhir were team leaders. Their boss Navin has been
getting requests for team change from Amit’s team members. This
is what their juniors have to say about them.
REASON:-
AMIT does not contribute to the development of his team -
in fact, he tries to get ahead in the organization, at the
cost of others.
Comparison with Sudhir:-
SUDHIR is concerned about the development of his team
members, as well as development of his own capabilities as
a leader.
16.
17. “Building customer’s trust in the organization is
more important for the long-term business, than
chasing immediate sales targets”
Example
Alex had recently joined the Relisafe Bank as a sales manager. The bank
had just come out with a new investment product called MultiCash.
Investment to Multicash is not risk free for the customer. Now it
depends on Alex to talk about the risk factors to him/her ,or to only
think about the bank benefits.
Alex: Decision to one aged customer who cant afford lose:-
Alex thought things over and quickly made a choice. He told Mr.
Jha – “Sir, MultiCash indeed has some risks, but the returns are also very
good. I don’t advise you to invest a lot of money in it. In my opinion, you
can invest a small sum and get a very good return on it. Then, even in
the unlikely event of a loss, you will lose very little money”.
18.
19. “Tough circumstances are an opportunity for
making more contributions (not problems to
ignore or run away from)”
- The difficult conditions / circumstances can lead to make
more contributions not only to self, but to the company or
to the society.
- It can create self confidence which can ultimately lead to
further more contributions as well as benefits.
