The factory had to undergo a complete technological renewal, everything being disaffected, and
during 2005 a new administrative office and a completely automated new factory have been built. The
entire technological flow was GMP, GLP and ISO certified, such that in 2006, Infomed Fluids was the
only producer on this niche, which was completely certified by the pharmaceutical authorities. The
renewal of technology, the general management change, the introduction of a new modern
informational system (SCALA) required a complete reconfiguration of the management of each
department of the organization, including the logistics and supply chain departments, directly involved
in ensuring market/customer satisfaction, and also in ensuring the competitive advantage of the
factory with respect to other niche players and in creating added value to the investment of the
stockholders.
The company went through two implementation phases of the logistics and supply chain management,
which will be described in this study, the changes being accomplished gradually, depending on the
implementation of other management processing and on the technological and informational
investments. The location of the factory in the capital of the country, Bucharest, a city with almost 3
million inhabitants (almost 15% of the entire population of the country), a city with almost 50

Jfk and the Warren Commission
On 22 November 1963, President John F Kennedy was shot dead as he took part in a motorcade
through the streets of Dallas, Texas. Soon afterwards a man named Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested
and accused of having shot Kennedy from the sixth floor of the Texas school Depository building .
Even though Oswald refused to co operate and denied all knowledge of the assassination, he was
formerly charged the next day, on the 23 November. However, he never stood trial as just two days
later Oswald himself was shot dead by Jack Ruby, a Dallas night club owner, as he was being taken
from police headquarters to court. As Jack Ruby went to prison and the police had no longer a suspect
to question, President Lyndon Baines Johnson, set up a committee led ... Show more content on

However the events that took place afterwards, played an important part in Oswalds conviction. This
incident was another murder, this time of a policeman, Officer J D Tipppit, who was shot through the
head at point blank range. A witness, Mrs Helen Markham, stated that Tippit had stopped to question a
man who produced a gun and shot Tippit before running off. Oswald was charged for Tippit s murder
as ballistics confirmed that the spent cartridges found beside Tippit s body were of the type used in the
.38 Smith and Wesson revolver found on Oswald when he was arrested. Mrs Markham also identified
Oswald from an identity parade as the murderer. This incident indicated that Oswald was indeed
capable of murder. There also didn t appear to be any clear motive for the murder and the police
presumed that Oswald had panicked and had shot Tippit when he had stopped to question him. But
why had Oswald panicked? He may have been on edge if he had just murdered the President and
could have overreacted!
All this evidence against Oswald and the overwhelming number of eyewitnesses that had come
forward, was enough to find Oswald guilty of murder at the time. However, the Warren Commission
also investigated Oswalds background and found that he was a strange and enigmatic figure. It was
evident that he had a fairly unstable and troubled past, which to most people accounted for his
behaviour and the manner in which he had allegedly

Character Analysis Of Lorraine Hansberry s A Raisin
Character Analysis: A Raisin in the Sun The play A Raisin In the Sun, by Lorraine Hansberry is a
classic, revolutionary play written in the times of segregation and discrimination of skin tones.
Throughout the story, the Youngers display how they are just like an ordinary family; everybody has
their own special personality. This caused many conflicts when it was time to decide what to do with
the check coming in the mail for ten thousand dollars. Walter Lee Younger, the son and oldest child of
mama, was very passionate about the idea of using the money to open his own liquor store. His
different personality traits take over and create him into a bossy man of the house. A little background
information about Walter is he is around his mid thirties. He is sister to Beneatha, married to Ruth, and
has a son by the name of Travis. Water Lee has the personality of a hustler. In this case, hustler is
defined by someone who will do anything whether illegal, the best for the community, or gamble, just
to get a dollar; in addition will stop at nothing to get what they want. Even though this play was
written in the 60s, Walter still has the demeanor of many African American males today in their
twenties who are trying to create a hustle. The only problem is Walter has the mental of a hustler but
fails to execute the product of a hustler which is money. He is ambitious about getting out his family
out of poverty but doesn t know how to quite do it. When this opportunity with

Difference Between Medieval Art And Renaissance Art
Many things changed from Medieval Times to the Renaissance. The catholic church saw it s reign
secede and individualism increase in the minds of the people of the time. Because of this, people in
the Renaissance now looked at themselves in a way that was never seen before. Slowly but surely, the
whole world changed. The rise in individualism and humanism signified a change in the way people
thought about their purpose in life. In the Medieval Times, people believed that they were at the mercy
of God, and they had no control over their own bodies or lives. From the change in Medieval Times to
the Renaissance, whole fields were changed, especially art and the medical field, because of the rise of
the individual and that way of life. Art in the Medieval Times was dreary and bland. Many works of
art were solely about God or holy figures. The most obvious change from the Renaissance to Medieval
Times was the arts, according to Document A and also that One begins to know the names of the
artists ... feel stronger emotions in the subjects . This shows that Renaissance art not only changed in
style, in changed in how it made the viewer feel when seeing the art. Similarly, in Document A,
Renaissance art is described as new artistic styles would echo the broader movements and interests of
the new age.... . As compared to Medieval Times, the style of art became something similar to the time
that people could relate to. In the Medieval Times, art was just meant to extol God s many feats.
People who viewed the painting were supposed to put that style of art on a pedestal. Medieval art was
supposed to be worshipped, not so much understood. The individual in the Medieval Times was
supposed to take away from the painting that the only thing that mattered in their life was the Roman
Catholic church and God already had a plan for their lives. But in comparison, Renaissance art was
supposed to empower and help people of the time to understand themselves and the fact that they can
change their own lives. Anatomy of the Medieval Times was incredibly different from anatomy of the
Renaissance. According to the diagram in Document D, anatomy was controlled by the zodiac, twelve
star position that each controlled a different part

John J. Mearsheimer s Five Types Of Lying
Lying, a five letter word that is naturally connected to most politicians and leaders. How does this
assumption come to be? And what causes them to be perceived in this manner? When a leader wants
to get something accomplished, especially when it comes to International relations, they must
consciously think of ways to persuade their followers into siding with them. The first thought that
most naturally comes to their mind is, how am I going to persuade or coax the general public into
siding with them on a particular issue and what tools do they have in accomplishing this goal? Is it
really for the benefit of the nation or for a politician s self shish motives. These are the types of
inquires that John J. Mearsheimer fields in his book, Why ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Such as, what is the author s concept of lying, to the view he looks at lying with, and if something isn t
definitively a lie, then what is it? Let s start by focusing on what the author considers to be a lie. A lie
according to Mearsheimer is, when a person makes a statement that he knows or suspects to be false in
the hopes that others will think it is true. (Mearsheimer 16) This is a pretty good definition, but
looking at from a rhetorical standpoint, what then is truth? Because in order for something to be
considered a lie, there has to be an opposite of truth to it. This idea of truth according to Nietzsche is
an attempt to make the unreal appear as real (Nietzsche), which is essentially lying to someone. This
bases of truth must come from a more moral position. Are politicians really moral enough to be
concerned with truth? Now, that the author has established what he considers to be a lie, let s shift to
what view he thinks of lying with. Mearsheimer observes lying with, a strictly utilitarian view .
(Mearsheimer 10) So, the author is viewing the topic from a completely practical view, in other words
a fully sophist interpretation. This shows why he is open to international lying, as sometimes a
necessary act. This act in a governmental setting according to the Roochnik article, states that,
political life is contingent happenstance. (Roochnik 236) Meaning that political

Freedom Of Culture In America
Wendell Pierce once said, Culture is the intersection of people and life itself. It s how we deal with
life, love, death, birth, disappointment... All of that is expressed in culture. This quote by Pierce
defines what culture can be defined as, even though there is variety of ways to really understand what
culture really is. United States is one of the largest countries in the world whom can be defined as a
melting pot in which a variety of different people come together as one. However, even though the
people whom live in United States try to adjust to the American lifestyle many still don t leave their
own identity back. United States of America is one of the places where freedom of religion is given to
its people to conform to the lifestyle ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

thinking for an answer. I waited for his answer and wanting it to be yes. He answered yes, and told me
that I can have a seat. As I sat down on the red carpet I jumped up with a list of questions that he was
surprised to see. As a result of the questions being asked Gurmeet revealed, I love working here
because all I have to do is cook. Gurmeet is the only employee in the temple where others are
volunteers whom help out serving the Sikh Community. Gurmeet has been working in the Sikh temple
for about 6 7 years cooking two times a day, which is during the morning and in the evening cooking
with ingredients like ginger, peppers, lentils, garam masala, cumin, coriander, and even turmeric
which is used in almost every Indian dish. For me the job is very easy all I have to do is cook and then
I am free and I can rest, Gurmeet added. Gurmeet also revealed with a bug smirk on his face that he

Inequality In Afghanistan
This film was powerful. Illustrating many aspects of gender inequality in Afghanistan, this film
communicated to me just how oppressed women are in these middle eastern countries and how drastic
of devices they have to resort to in order to live a life worth living. It was truly moving. This film
certainly changed my perception of what it is like to live in Afghanistan as a women. This film
changed this perception in two way. The first of which is that this film exposed me to the rigor at
which oppression is enforced particularly by the Taliban. I have always thought of the Taliban as a
militant government group that pushed its oppressive agenda by way of force, but only on rare
occasions. This film changed that as it showed how the Taliban ... Show more content on

Now I see that they feel it terribly therefore we must act. This film has convinced me we must do

of foreign issues. My voice is weak by itself but strong with others, that is why I can help these
women by joining local social activist groups in my community and making our collective voices
heard. The overall goal would be to pass legislation that would create education centers for women in
Afghanistan because education is the first step to empowering women and leading them from
oppression according to Nicholas Kristof. Overall this film was incredibly powerful and this movie
reinforced some common themes in the general paper course, most significantly the prevalence of
childhood marriage and the psychological torture that accompanies it which was touched upon in
Nujood, Yemen s youngest Divorcee says father has squandered cash from her book and The Women s
Crusade. Also the theme of male supremacy is underlining all pieces of literature. I am glad I was

Wasted Time In High School
Emily Sellers
Composition 1301 332
Mrs. Kinkead
24 September 2017 Wasted time in High School
Public high schools tend to waste a lot of time in class doing things that aren t related to school at all.
It has been reported that in many schools, teachers make students do chores for them for extra credit
points, while others are learning new things. Jay Mathews wrote A startling waste of precious
classroom time, published in 2014 in the Washington Post, and he argues that so much time is wasted
in low income schools due to teachers and it makes it very difficult for students to learn in that
environment. Mathews begins to establish pathos by stating the names of two girls that go to Compton
High School and want to learn, but their school is unable to give them the education they desire.
Mathews established ethos a little later in his article by stating facts about programs he has
encountered with inner city schools; however, toward the end of his article, he uses facts to establish
logos, which is the appeal of logic, while stating that schools have been sued because low income
students have not been given the right education.
Mathews explains that Wasting time is common in the nation s low income schools. Class schedules
can be a mess at the beginning of the year, forcing students to wait days in the library for their
assignments (Mathews). Mathews establishes ethos through stating the facts of wasted time in low
income schools. Mathews states that at Compton High

Rate Of Reaction Between Hydrochloric Acid And Sodium T
Experimental Investigation Rate of Reaction
Research Topic:
The topic includes the effect of concentration and temperature on the rate of reaction between
hydrochloric acid (HCl) and Sodium Thiosulphate (Hypo solution). There are multiple ways to test the
rate of reaction between two substances, however the experiment we will be conducting involves
placing a conical flask directly over a black coloured x and recording the time it takes for the x to
become invisible after the two solutions react with each other. This is simple and direct as multiple
tests can be undertaken at different concentration levels and multiple temperatures.
Sodium Thiosulphate and Hydrochloric Acid Reaction

Aim:
The overall aim of this experimental investigation is to further research and investigate the factors of
temperature and concentration and how these two elements can alter or change the speed or rate of a
reaction. The aim will be investigated thoroughly, with multiple experiments being conducted to
ultimately fulfil this aim, with as much detail and data as possible so an in depth conclusion can be
delivered.
Hypothesis:
It is hypothesised that when the temperature at which the chemical reaction takes place is increased,
the speed of the reaction will also increase, whereas when the temperature at which the chemical
reaction takes place is decreased, the speed of the reaction will decrease. This hypothesis correlates to
the investigation because when the Hydrochloric acid is at a higher temperature, the solution that is
mixed with it, in this case Sodium Thiosulphate, the rate at which the reaction occurs will be much
faster. Whereas, when the temperature of the Hydrochloric acid is decreased, the Sodium Thiosulphate
solution that will be mixed in will result in the rate at which the reaction occurs being much slower. It
is also hypothesised that when the concentration of a solution in a chemical reaction is increased, the
speed of the reaction increases. Whereas, on the other hand, when the concentration of the solution in
the chemical reaction is decreased, the speed at which the reaction occurs will be far slower. This

Special Needs Assistant Essay
Special needs assistants (SNAs) are to work with children who have specific care needs. They provide
non teaching care support. SNAs support children who have care needs resulting from a disability,
behavioural difficulties or a medical issue. This includes significant physical or sensory function
impairment . Children with dyslexia do not apply for SNA teachers because their disability does not
need physical care .They can look after themselves. How to improve the service Many people with
dyslexia are only getting support and the psychological assessment they need if their difficulty is bad
enough. There are still too many barriers in dealing with dyslexia in Ireland, according to Dr. Pauline
Cogan educational psychologist and dyslexia researcher. There needs to be more proactive support;
instead of officials acting as gatekeepers [deciding who may and may not receive support and
assistance], we should be there spotting the children who need help, and putting that help in place.
Without that help, they re denied information and access to the curriculum. ( Peter McGuire 2015).
The service should be improved by being more open and less strict and letting all children get the help
no matter how bad their case is . All children that do have dyslexia need help no matter how bad or
good it is. The way that services are ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

The rand is a parallel currency that was exclusively used for nonresident capital movements during the
1980s and 1990s. The financial rand was available to foreigners for investment only in South Africa
was formulated by the sale of nonresidents assets in the country (Country Data, 1996). The two tiered
currency system insulated the country s foreign reserves from politically stimulated capital flight,
because all divestment by nonresidents were automatically met by new investment, and the price of
the financial rand varied independently of the commercial rand (Country Data, 1996). Ultimately,
South Africa s economic growth depends upon increasing gold profits and foreign investments.
The Cuban Pesos (CUP) is the official currency in Cuba. The American dollar is not accepted on
government business in Cuba since November 2004. All of the stores that sold goods in American
currency changed to the Cuban Convertible Pesos (CUC). Pesos convertibles cost the equivalent of
$1.18 United States Dollars (USD). In Cuba, currency is exchanged every day, and it is a known fact
that the pesos are unstable. The Cuban Pesos is equivalent to 100 cents (centavos). The notes can be of

Summary Of Philip Larkin s Fiesta 1980
The way parents raise children may affect them while growing up and this will be transferred over
generations and it s most likely to never end. Being punished as a young child, life seemed harsh and
uneasy. The way parents would yell at you, tell you what to do, what not to do, and they always
seemed to have gotten in the way of doing what us children wanted to do but it emotionally affects the
personality of children while growing up for good or bad. In the poem This Be The Verse by Philip
Larkin, Larkin expresses his emotions in a strong and direct lenguage towards his parents and the way
they judge and blame him for it s mistakes. His strong lenguage demonstrates with no doubt us that
parents have a negative effect on their children and it affects them drastically. Junot Diaz s short story
Fiesta, 1980 gives an insight into the everyday life of a lower class family, a family with a troubled
young boy, Yunior and a strong, abusive father, Papi. Bad parent child relationships could lead to
depression, low self steem and children could be more prone to criminal behavior. Jamaica Kincaid s
short story Girl illustrates gender discrimination, receiving the instructions from her mother on how to
behave and act to not be judge. It illustrates the high level of submissive in women s there was in her
culture.

The Burden Of St. Paul Essay
The Burden of St. Paul Today: Us vs Them
Christianity has over 2.1 billion followers throughout the world and is known to be a universal,
monotheistic belief system that has been developed since the life, death and resurrection of Jesus
Christ. The apostle Paul is a man, which is known for his mission to spread Christianity. He was raised
as a jew, and ironically, during his youth he was persecuted by Christians. Paul, known as Saul during
this time, was born in Tarsus. Saul, during his years as a Jewish Pharisee in Tarsus, would militantly
persecute anything that involved Christianity. He was so much opposed to Christianity that he was
given authority by the chief priest to destroy these followers of Christianity. Saul decided that he
would extend his persecution to other cities such as Damascus. It was this walk on the road to
Damascus that would serve as a major turning point in his life. Jesus appeared to Saul, saying Saul,
Saul! Why do you persecute me? (Acts 9:1 6) Paul was blinded, yet his mind became clear. He knew
then that Jesus was calling him to spread the salvation brought by faith through Jesus Christ. These
renewed eyes of Paul were now determined to seek out individuals that needed to hear about salvation
through Jesus, specifically, his people the Jews. The Christian Church of today consists of
approximately 38,000 Christian denominations spread out across the globe. Many of which actively
send missionaries to foreign countries. Would Paul, or even

Democracy in Pakistan
GOVERNANCE AND DEMOCRACY IN PAKISTAN:
WEAKNESSES, STRENGTHS AND PROSPECTS
Abstract
Pakistan had no worthwhile civil society and hardly any middle class in 1947 due to rampant illiteracy
and absence of an independent media. The masses were poor, the country was described an economic
desert and there was an unprecedented influx of refugees. The country lacked the necessary
infrastructure and institutions. The capability to develop them was lacking. The external and internal
threats to the security of the country turned it into a security state. Weak political leadership created
space for civil military bureaucracy. This led to the cut off periods in democratic governance, which
was derailed thrice in 1958, 1977 and 1999. At present, the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

These areas were neglected by the British being closer to the borders. It was considered safer to invest
in central India which was beyond the reach of enemy air force. The affluent class in Pakistan was
mostly Hindus and Sikhs and they transferred their wealth to India. Thus, at the time of its birth,
Pakistan was virtually an economic desert 13 and the masses were abysmally poor. There was an acute
famine of commodities of every day use. 14 The authorities, who were administering the country,
were more interested in the procurement of goods and development of the country rather than
promoting the cause of democratic governance. Pakistan s low literacy, bad infrastructure, and
instability made it difficult to take advantage of what is commonly called globalization . It did not
produce much to offer in the exports market except low value primary goods, its work force was not
educated, and the government controlled trade and investment suffered for political reasons, partly due
to mutually constrained relations with neighbouring India.

This proves that an image that an artist created for the band can be destroyed by selling out to
companies. If a band created an image of being rebellious, and they sell out; then, they are going to
seem less rebellious and leave their fans betrayed. While this may all be true, the benefits of artists
making deals with corporations are far greater. Such as, A corporation paying for these costs can make
the difference between artists growing their careers, or completely giving up on the music business
altogether (Coates). If an artist cannot pay for the costs of touring and selling music, then they could
use the advertisement to get enough money to keep their dream alive. Artists making deals with
companies has many positives, such as: giving bands exposure, and helping with the revenue of bands,
and making bands more recognizable. There are many benefits to artists starring in advertisements
with corporations, which is why music should be in advertising. Music in advertising is helpful to the
artists and the companies in numerous ways, which is why artists should be able to keep their music in

Internationalization refers to the increasing importance of international trade, international relations,
treaties, alliances.2.
Regionalisation means a less interconnected world , with a stronger regional spirit. (Mercosur for
example).
A definition of Globalisation would be that : Globalisation typically refers to the process by which
different economies and societies become more closely integrated3.
Another definition would be that: Globalisation describes a process by which national and regional
economies, societies, and cultures have become integrated through the global network of trade,
communication, immigration and transportation. 4
According to those definitions, globalisation seems to be a process that creates an international market
for goods and services, that creates a rise of standardised norms and social behaviour, that facilitated
centralisation of international politics through supranational entities such as the United Nations, the
World Bank or the World Trade organisation.
Looking towards history, markets has been increasingly integrated to a global market, which was

The Controversy Of Capital Punishment
The Controversy of Capital Punishment
Capital punishment, or the death penalty, is a form of punishment that has been used as far back as the
Colonial Era in America. Although it has been around for the entirety of American history, most of the
scrutiny and controversy involving capital punishment arose in the 1972 Supreme Court Case of
Furman v. Georgia, in which it was abolished, but quickly returned in 1977. It is evident that many
citizens have ambivalent stances on capital punishment; some believing it is necessary form of
punishment while others believe that the death penalty is a violation of the Eighth Amendment.
Although capital punishment has been used throughout history and is seen by many as a form of
justified punishment, there are many reasons in favor of ending the death penalty completely. Capital
punishment is an unnecessary evil that should be found unconstitutional because of it is not practical,
it is corrupt, and it is unable to deter further homicides from being committed.
A brief history explaining the verdicts made by the Supreme Court regarding capital punishment in
American history needs to be made to understand why capital punishment has become such a national
issue in contemporary America. In the 1972 Supreme Court case Furman v. Georgia, the court ruled
that the, carrying out of the death penalty...constitutes cruel and unusual punishment, (Hugo 1). Since
the death penalty was considered at the time cruel and unusual, it made it in direct

What Is The Purpose Of Caroline s Wedding
Purpose
Without purpose, all people would not have the strength to get up and face the challenges that present
themselves during the course of every day, regardless of the background they come from. Krik? Krak!,
a novel by Edwidge Danticat, tells several stories of people connected to Haiti that live or have lived
in terrible conditions. Finding a purpose allows the people to survive and press on despite the
adversities they face. While some of the novel s characters succumb and break down, many find
different meanings in life such as family, love, and passions that extend into something larger than
themselves.
Bonds within families are very powerful, allowing family members to support each other through
hardship. The story Caroline s Wedding centers around an immigrant family from Haiti that moves to

also have to address that they are going to raise a child in the poor conditions around them. This
motivates her parents to work harder and eventually move to provide better opportunities for their

Initially beginning with the divided political areas of the Family Compact and the Château Clique
which held most of the judicial power between Upper and Lower Canada. Between each of them,
controversy would be raised among the two systems of government. However this was mostly due to
the controversy that arose after it was revealed that the Château Clique was composed of the rich and
the wealthy occupants of Lower Canada which were all English, disconnecting the lower classes of
Lower Canada as even though the majority is French in origin, have no say in the running of their own
government with representatives that do not understand the plight of the people, while the right to be
able to elect a member is taken out of their hands. Furthermore, such high powers given to them
through veto would be more than enough to create problems for the assembly in attempting to provide
new possible rulings. Responsible government would eventually become a subject to be discussed
among the area as the eventual arrival of Governor General Durham after the politically fueled
rebellions of 1837 1838 for reform with causes ranging from discontent between the English and
French to the economic crash and crop failures of that period. Lord Durham would eventually

Examples Of Psychoanalysis In Alien
C. Psychoanalysis as a political weapon in Alien
i. Male action and female inaction There are two major examples of male activeness and female
passiveness in Alien: the chestburster scene and the differences between Ripley and Dallas as the
protagonist. In the iconic chestburster scene the crew are seated peacefully as they prepare to return to
stasis, however this peace is disturbed when Kane convulses and a chestburster bursts out of him.
Only the male characters are active in this scene: Parker and Dallas initially comfort and hold Kane
down, Brett holds Kane s legs down, and Ash runs from the other side (farther aways then Ripley and
Lambert) to help. Ripley and Lambert initially reach out towards Kane but eventually watch in horror
as the alien bursts from him. Dallas, Parker, and Brett were closer to Kane than Ripley so they have
more reason for helping; and Ash is the science officer so it makes sense for him to rush towards a
medical emergency. Switching one of the male characters with a female character could have
expounded on the seriousness of the scene (before the arrival of the chestburster).
While subtle, the difference between the actions taken by Dallas and Ripley exemplify the
heterosexual differences in labor. Dallas protagonist is constantly in motion: investigating the signal,
defending Ripley from the dead facehugger, and hunting the alien in the vents. Ripley s actions as
protagonist are less active, especially since she follows Dallas vent plan and

members who have graciously agreed to help me were Raj Ponnusamy, Nitya Thangasamy, Uma
Janakiraman, Sudha Jayaraman, and MalarGunasekaran. The items included in the food menu are the
following: Appetizers (Masaal vadai, Kesari), Entrees (Idli, Chappathi, Lemon rice, Sambar satham,
Yogurt rice), Sides (mixed vegetable curry, potato curry, coconut chutney, peanut chutney), and Desert
(laddu, payasam, rasa malaai). It should be noted here that there is no meat involved in any of the
dishes planned, since we all follow vegetarian food during religious events. The event team members
also shared volunteering for communication (phone tree emails), hall decorations and clean up
services. The total head count of attendees was collected (60 adults and 12 children) via RSVP by

Science Reflection
St Marys holds an Inspire Science Program advocating the learning of science for primary children
(year 6 ). It was a day spent in a local primary school teaching them about DNA and Forensic science.
The Inspire Science program involved having weekly basis school meetings in the science labs. I
attended each week working on preparing for science related activities such as making DNA,
chromosomes from strawberries and creating a DNA model. The class was split into groups of 8 each
group assigned to a classroom for the day. Furthermore splitting into pairs to work with a group of 6
children. I lead my group teaching them interesting facts about science and how science is involved in
everyday life. I monitored my group as we worked on a forensic worksheet, DNA booklet and DNA/
dry ice experiments. This activity increased my confidence in teaching others and being able to
involve myself in a community activity.
I participate in school clubs such as Amnesty and Girl s Club, which are social justice clubs in my
school. Girl s Club a primarily female based club which focuses on the social issues relating to women
and discussing gender inequality. As annual activities, we participate in school Ribbon days and
International Women s Day. Amnesty group holds weekly discussions on the controversial topic such
as Black Lives Matter and LGBTQIA awareness

Bruce Springsteen Is Known For His Genuine And Relatable
Bruce Springsteen is known for his genuine and relatable poems. He composes poems based on their
ability to speak to the average American, and their ability to provide an identifiable composition of
lyrics to millions of people across the nation. The repeating refrain within Born In The U.S.A. brings
attention to alternate viewpoints of current and controversial events, while his spontaneous rhyming
results in a musical flow. These patterns are also present within Leaving The Cold. Born In The
U.S.A., published in 1984, was aimed at drawing more attention to the average veteran. Springsteen
constructs a story about a Vietnam veteran who returns home with nothing but the scarring
experiences of the war. He brings attention to the fact ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When he comes back from the Vietnam War, he comes back to essentially nothing. He is not given
many opportunities that could result in any type of expansion and affluence; he has Nowhere to run
ain t go nowhere to go (29). He was born in the U.S.A. and his country has used and abandoned him.
The narrative and refrain together create this cynical view of America as a whole. Although a large
majority believes the United States of America has its peoples best interest at heart, Springsteen
suggests that some may view this nation as simply using its people instead. Leaving The Cold also
displays the unifying pattern of narrative and refrain. This poem was composed around 1991; the year
in which the Cold War finally came to an end. The refrain describes a man who is dressed in a red suit
who comes to the American people and leads them out of a dark and cold era and into a period of
welfare. Springsteen discusses throughout the narrative of the poem how Presidents of the United
States come into term and leave when they have finished serving the people. Political elections are
often a source of dissension. Numerous opinions and rumors can alter the process, the outcome, and
the permanent perception of a presidency. Springsteen suggests that It s insane to think how we
become blind / And remember the chills but forget / The red and suited lad / Who comes to lead us out
of the cold (14 16). People commonly focus on the negative repercussions and

The factory had to undergo a complete technological renewal, everything being disaffected, and during 2005 a new administrative office and a completely automated new factory have been built. The entire technological flow was GMP, GLP and ISO certified, such that in 2006, Infomed Fluids was the only producer on this niche, which was completely certified by the pharmaceutical authorities. The renewal of technology, the general management change, the introduction of a new modern informational system (SCALA) required a complete reconfiguration of the management of each department of the organization, including the logistics and supply chain departments, directly involved in ensuring market/customer satisfaction, and also in ensuring the competitive advantage of the factory with respect to other niche players and in creating added value to the investment of the stockholders. The company went through two implementation phases of the logistics and supply chain management, which will be described in this study, the changes being accomplished gradually, depending on the implementation of other management processing and on the technological and informational investments. The location of the factory in the capital of the country, Bucharest, a city with almost 3 million inhabitants (almost 15% of the entire population of the country), a city with almost 50 hospitals (near 28% from the total number of hospital beds are located ... • 3. Jfk and the Warren Commission On 22 November 1963, President John F Kennedy was shot dead as he took part in a motorcade through the streets of Dallas, Texas. Soon afterwards a man named Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested and accused of having shot Kennedy from the sixth floor of the Texas school Depository building . Even though Oswald refused to co operate and denied all knowledge of the assassination, he was formerly charged the next day, on the 23 November. However, he never stood trial as just two days later Oswald himself was shot dead by Jack Ruby, a Dallas night club owner, as he was being taken from police headquarters to court. As Jack Ruby went to prison and the police had no longer a suspect to question, President Lyndon Baines Johnson, set up a committee led ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... However the events that took place afterwards, played an important part in Oswalds conviction. This incident was another murder, this time of a policeman, Officer J D Tipppit, who was shot through the head at point blank range. A witness, Mrs Helen Markham, stated that Tippit had stopped to question a man who produced a gun and shot Tippit before running off. Oswald was charged for Tippit s murder as ballistics confirmed that the spent cartridges found beside Tippit s body were of the type used in the .38 Smith and Wesson revolver found on Oswald when he was arrested. Mrs Markham also identified Oswald from an identity parade as the murderer. This incident indicated that Oswald was indeed capable of murder. There also didn t appear to be any clear motive for the murder and the police presumed that Oswald had panicked and had shot Tippit when he had stopped to question him. But why had Oswald panicked? He may have been on edge if he had just murdered the President and could have overreacted! All this evidence against Oswald and the overwhelming number of eyewitnesses that had come forward, was enough to find Oswald guilty of murder at the time. However, the Warren Commission also investigated Oswalds background and found that he was a strange and enigmatic figure. It was evident that he had a fairly unstable and troubled past, which to most people accounted for his behaviour and the manner in which he had allegedly ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Character Analysis Of Lorraine Hansberry s A Raisin Character Analysis: A Raisin in the Sun The play A Raisin In the Sun, by Lorraine Hansberry is a classic, revolutionary play written in the times of segregation and discrimination of skin tones. Throughout the story, the Youngers display how they are just like an ordinary family; everybody has their own special personality. This caused many conflicts when it was time to decide what to do with the check coming in the mail for ten thousand dollars. Walter Lee Younger, the son and oldest child of mama, was very passionate about the idea of using the money to open his own liquor store. His different personality traits take over and create him into a bossy man of the house. A little background information about Walter is he is around his mid thirties. He is sister to Beneatha, married to Ruth, and has a son by the name of Travis. Water Lee has the personality of a hustler. In this case, hustler is defined by someone who will do anything whether illegal, the best for the community, or gamble, just to get a dollar; in addition will stop at nothing to get what they want. Even though this play was written in the 60s, Walter still has the demeanor of many African American males today in their twenties who are trying to create a hustle. The only problem is Walter has the mental of a hustler but fails to execute the product of a hustler which is money. He is ambitious about getting out his family out of poverty but doesn t know how to quite do it. When this opportunity with ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Difference Between Medieval Art And Renaissance Art Many things changed from Medieval Times to the Renaissance. The catholic church saw it s reign secede and individualism increase in the minds of the people of the time. Because of this, people in the Renaissance now looked at themselves in a way that was never seen before. Slowly but surely, the whole world changed. The rise in individualism and humanism signified a change in the way people thought about their purpose in life. In the Medieval Times, people believed that they were at the mercy of God, and they had no control over their own bodies or lives. From the change in Medieval Times to the Renaissance, whole fields were changed, especially art and the medical field, because of the rise of the individual and that way of life. Art in the Medieval Times was dreary and bland. Many works of art were solely about God or holy figures. The most obvious change from the Renaissance to Medieval Times was the arts, according to Document A and also that One begins to know the names of the artists ... feel stronger emotions in the subjects . This shows that Renaissance art not only changed in style, in changed in how it made the viewer feel when seeing the art. Similarly, in Document A, Renaissance art is described as new artistic styles would echo the broader movements and interests of the new age.... . As compared to Medieval Times, the style of art became something similar to the time that people could relate to. In the Medieval Times, art was just meant to extol God s many feats. People who viewed the painting were supposed to put that style of art on a pedestal. Medieval art was supposed to be worshipped, not so much understood. The individual in the Medieval Times was supposed to take away from the painting that the only thing that mattered in their life was the Roman Catholic church and God already had a plan for their lives. But in comparison, Renaissance art was supposed to empower and help people of the time to understand themselves and the fact that they can change their own lives. Anatomy of the Medieval Times was incredibly different from anatomy of the Renaissance. According to the diagram in Document D, anatomy was controlled by the zodiac, twelve star position that each controlled a different part ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. John J. Mearsheimer s Five Types Of Lying Lying, a five letter word that is naturally connected to most politicians and leaders. How does this assumption come to be? And what causes them to be perceived in this manner? When a leader wants to get something accomplished, especially when it comes to International relations, they must consciously think of ways to persuade their followers into siding with them. The first thought that most naturally comes to their mind is, how am I going to persuade or coax the general public into siding with them on a particular issue and what tools do they have in accomplishing this goal? Is it really for the benefit of the nation or for a politician s self shish motives. These are the types of inquires that John J. Mearsheimer fields in his book, Why ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Such as, what is the author s concept of lying, to the view he looks at lying with, and if something isn t definitively a lie, then what is it? Let s start by focusing on what the author considers to be a lie. A lie according to Mearsheimer is, when a person makes a statement that he knows or suspects to be false in the hopes that others will think it is true. (Mearsheimer 16) This is a pretty good definition, but looking at from a rhetorical standpoint, what then is truth? Because in order for something to be considered a lie, there has to be an opposite of truth to it. This idea of truth according to Nietzsche is an attempt to make the unreal appear as real (Nietzsche), which is essentially lying to someone. This bases of truth must come from a more moral position. Are politicians really moral enough to be concerned with truth? Now, that the author has established what he considers to be a lie, let s shift to what view he thinks of lying with. Mearsheimer observes lying with, a strictly utilitarian view . (Mearsheimer 10) So, the author is viewing the topic from a completely practical view, in other words a fully sophist interpretation. This shows why he is open to international lying, as sometimes a necessary act. This act in a governmental setting according to the Roochnik article, states that, political life is contingent happenstance. (Roochnik 236) Meaning that political ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Illustrating many aspects of gender inequality in Afghanistan, this film communicated to me just how oppressed women are in these middle eastern countries and how drastic of devices they have to resort to in order to live a life worth living. It was truly moving. This film certainly changed my perception of what it is like to live in Afghanistan as a women. This film changed this perception in two way. The first of which is that this film exposed me to the rigor at which oppression is enforced particularly by the Taliban. I have always thought of the Taliban as a militant government group that pushed its oppressive agenda by way of force, but only on rare occasions. • 9. Wasted Time In High School Emily Sellers Composition 1301 332 Mrs. Kinkead 24 September 2017 Wasted time in High School Public high schools tend to waste a lot of time in class doing things that aren t related to school at all. It has been reported that in many schools, teachers make students do chores for them for extra credit points, while others are learning new things. Jay Mathews wrote A startling waste of precious classroom time, published in 2014 in the Washington Post, and he argues that so much time is wasted in low income schools due to teachers and it makes it very difficult for students to learn in that environment. Mathews begins to establish pathos by stating the names of two girls that go to Compton High School and want to learn, but their school is unable to give them the education they desire. Mathews established ethos a little later in his article by stating facts about programs he has encountered with inner city schools; however, toward the end of his article, he uses facts to establish logos, which is the appeal of logic, while stating that schools have been sued because low income students have not been given the right education. Mathews explains that Wasting time is common in the nation s low income schools. Class schedules can be a mess at the beginning of the year, forcing students to wait days in the library for their assignments (Mathews). Mathews establishes ethos through stating the facts of wasted time in low income schools. Mathews states that at Compton High ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Rate Of Reaction Between Hydrochloric Acid And Sodium T Experimental Investigation Rate of Reaction Research Topic: The topic includes the effect of concentration and temperature on the rate of reaction between hydrochloric acid (HCl) and Sodium Thiosulphate (Hypo solution). There are multiple ways to test the rate of reaction between two substances, however the experiment we will be conducting involves placing a conical flask directly over a black coloured x and recording the time it takes for the x to become invisible after the two solutions react with each other. This is simple and direct as multiple tests can be undertaken at different concentration levels and multiple temperatures. Aim: The overall aim of this experimental investigation is to further research and investigate the factors of temperature and concentration and how these two elements can alter or change the speed or rate of a reaction. The aim will be investigated thoroughly, with multiple experiments being conducted to ultimately fulfil this aim, with as much detail and data as possible so an in depth conclusion can be delivered. Hypothesis: It is hypothesised that when the temperature at which the chemical reaction takes place is increased, the speed of the reaction will also increase, whereas when the temperature at which the chemical reaction takes place is decreased, the speed of the reaction will decrease. This hypothesis correlates to the investigation because when the Hydrochloric acid is at a higher temperature, the solution that is mixed with it, in this case Sodium Thiosulphate, the rate at which the reaction occurs will be much faster. Whereas, when the temperature of the Hydrochloric acid is decreased, the Sodium Thiosulphate solution that will be mixed in will result in the rate at which the reaction occurs being much slower. It is also hypothesised that when the concentration of a solution in a chemical reaction is increased, the speed of the reaction increases. Whereas, on the other hand, when the concentration of the solution in the chemical reaction is decreased, the speed at which the reaction occurs will be far slower. This ... SNAs support children who have care needs resulting from a disability, behavioural difficulties or a medical issue. This includes significant physical or sensory function impairment . Children with dyslexia do not apply for SNA teachers because their disability does not need physical care .They can look after themselves. How to improve the service Many people with dyslexia are only getting support and the psychological assessment they need if their difficulty is bad enough. There are still too many barriers in dealing with dyslexia in Ireland, according to Dr. Pauline Cogan educational psychologist and dyslexia researcher. There needs to be more proactive support; instead of officials acting as gatekeepers [deciding who may and may not receive support and assistance], we should be there spotting the children who need help, and putting that help in place. Without that help, they re denied information and access to the curriculum. ( Peter McGuire 2015). The rand is a parallel currency that was exclusively used for nonresident capital movements during the 1980s and 1990s. The financial rand was available to foreigners for investment only in South Africa was formulated by the sale of nonresidents assets in the country (Country Data, 1996). The two tiered currency system insulated the country s foreign reserves from politically stimulated capital flight, because all divestment by nonresidents were automatically met by new investment, and the price of the financial rand varied independently of the commercial rand (Country Data, 1996). Ultimately, South Africa s economic growth depends upon increasing gold profits and foreign investments. The Cuban Pesos (CUP) is the official currency in Cuba. The American dollar is not accepted on government business in Cuba since November 2004. All of the stores that sold goods in American currency changed to the Cuban Convertible Pesos (CUC). Pesos convertibles cost the equivalent of $1.18 United States Dollars (USD). In Cuba, currency is exchanged every day, and it is a known fact that the pesos are unstable. The Cuban Pesos is equivalent to 100 cents (centavos). In the poem This Be The Verse by Philip Larkin, Larkin expresses his emotions in a strong and direct lenguage towards his parents and the way they judge and blame him for it s mistakes. His strong lenguage demonstrates with no doubt us that parents have a negative effect on their children and it affects them drastically. Junot Diaz s short story Fiesta, 1980 gives an insight into the everyday life of a lower class family, a family with a troubled young boy, Yunior and a strong, abusive father, Papi. Bad parent child relationships could lead to depression, low self steem and children could be more prone to criminal behavior. • 16. The Burden Of St. Paul Essay The Burden of St. Paul Today: Us vs Them Christianity has over 2.1 billion followers throughout the world and is known to be a universal, monotheistic belief system that has been developed since the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The apostle Paul is a man, which is known for his mission to spread Christianity. He was raised as a jew, and ironically, during his youth he was persecuted by Christians. Paul, known as Saul during this time, was born in Tarsus. Saul, during his years as a Jewish Pharisee in Tarsus, would militantly persecute anything that involved Christianity. He was so much opposed to Christianity that he was given authority by the chief priest to destroy these followers of Christianity. Saul decided that he would extend his persecution to other cities such as Damascus. It was this walk on the road to Damascus that would serve as a major turning point in his life. Jesus appeared to Saul, saying Saul, Saul! Why do you persecute me? (Acts 9:1 6) Paul was blinded, yet his mind became clear. He knew then that Jesus was calling him to spread the salvation brought by faith through Jesus Christ. These renewed eyes of Paul were now determined to seek out individuals that needed to hear about salvation through Jesus, specifically, his people the Jews. The Christian Church of today consists of approximately 38,000 Christian denominations spread out across the globe. Many of which actively send missionaries to foreign countries. The Controversy Of Capital Punishment The Controversy of Capital Punishment Capital punishment, or the death penalty, is a form of punishment that has been used as far back as the Colonial Era in America. Although it has been around for the entirety of American history, most of the scrutiny and controversy involving capital punishment arose in the 1972 Supreme Court Case of Furman v. • 29. Examples Of Psychoanalysis In Alien C. Psychoanalysis as a political weapon in Alien i. Male action and female inaction There are two major examples of male activeness and female passiveness in Alien: the chestburster scene and the differences between Ripley and Dallas as the protagonist. In the iconic chestburster scene the crew are seated peacefully as they prepare to return to stasis, however this peace is disturbed when Kane convulses and a chestburster bursts out of him. Only the male characters are active in this scene: Parker and Dallas initially comfort and hold Kane down, Brett holds Kane s legs down, and Ash runs from the other side (farther aways then Ripley and Lambert) to help. Ripley and Lambert initially reach out towards Kane but eventually watch in horror as the alien bursts from him. Dallas, Parker, and Brett were closer to Kane than Ripley so they have more reason for helping; and Ash is the science officer so it makes sense for him to rush towards a medical emergency. Switching one of the male characters with a female character could have expounded on the seriousness of the scene (before the arrival of the chestburster). While subtle, the difference between the actions taken by Dallas and Ripley exemplify the heterosexual differences in labor. Ripley s actions as protagonist are less active, especially since she follows Dallas vent plan and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

These patterns are also present within Leaving The Cold. Born In The U.S.A., published in 1984, was aimed at drawing more attention to the average veteran. Although a large majority believes the United States of America has its peoples best interest at heart, Springsteen suggests that some may view this nation as simply using its people instead. Leaving The Cold also displays the unifying pattern of narrative and refrain. This poem was composed around 1991; the year in which the Cold War finally came to an end. The refrain describes a man who is dressed in a red suit who comes to the American people and leads them out of a dark and cold era and into a period of welfare.
