The one technique I am not understanding is the using simple coloring to help solve sudoku
puzzles. From my understanding, one does not even use colors; rather, the colors are inferred. I
somewhat understand the use of pluses and minuses because they creates chain. For example,
there s one plus that s in the same row as a minus, and then that minus is in the same column as a
plus and so on, except I m not understanding where the plus in square f1 (in figure 12) came from,
except that it might have something to do with the minus that is in the same grid (def123) as it. I
m not understanding why all the pluses and minuses in the figure are reliant on whether or not
there is a one in f1. Then the author asked us to change all the pluses and minuses into black and
white square, and I m not sure that makes any difference or makes solving the puzzle any easier.

this incident until a couple of days later. Duke Energy estimated that between 50,000 to 82,000 tons
of coal ash ran into Dan River, causing it to litter and pollute with masses of debris. Duke s
outrageous proposal to fix this problem is to take money out of their customers in order to pay for

Park. Multiple aspects of the play were very vague or in downright disarray: Setting, genre, stage
design, and even casting choice. The production was attempting to make a new spin on centuries
old play, but they ultimately lost sight of original entirely. Setting, the most basic element of the
play, is entirely undefinable in the production. The characters wore costumes resembling World
War II Soviet military uniforms and dresses taken from a 1940s Macys advertisement. However,
the play still refers to the Scottish crown and Macbeths castle. In addition, the stage music does
little to clarify the setting. In some scenes, the background music sounds like that of a traditional
Highland dance with bagpipes blaring. However, in other scenes there are tribal drums and

statistics. Descriptive statistics describe the features of the data collected. In other words,

elements interact or influence one another. Descriptive statistics provide a defender with
summaries about the data collected and these summaries may be either quantitative or visual.

somewhat spontaneous but also somewhat planned, while relatively unstructured means that the
behavior is somewhat organized and predictable but also somewhat unorganized and
unpredictable. As a whole, though, collective behavior is regarded as less spontaneous and less
structured than conventional behavior, such as what happens in a classroom, a workplace, or
the other settings for everyday behavior with which we are very familiar. As just noted, the term
collective behavior refers to a miscellaneous set of behaviors. As such, these behaviors often
have very little in common with each other, even if their basic features allow them to be
classified as collective behavior. Common forms of collective behavior discussed in this section
include crowds, mobs, panics, riots, disaster behavior, rumors, mass hysteria, moral panics, and
fads and crazes. Of these forms, some (crowds, panics, riots, and disasters) involve people who
are generally in each other s presence and who are more or less interacting with each other, while
other forms (rumors, mass hysteria, moral panics, and fads and crazes) involve people

The Consequences Of Social Norms In The American Society
In a public setting and in society in general, there are certain rules that are followed
unconsciously by people. People are unaware most times that they control and manipulate their
behavior to fit into a certain societal setting. While it is perfectly normal to sing along and dance
to music in the privacy of the home, it is frowned upon to do such behavior in public. These
rules that people tend to follow unconsciously and consciously are referred to as social norms.
Social norms vary from culture to culture. In some cultures, like Japan, slurping food is a sign of
enjoyment and is welcomed in a public and private setting. However, in America and other
societies, slurping food or eating with your mouth open is completely unacceptable. Norms can be
broken down into four categories: folkways, mores, taboos, and laws. The social normthat my
partner and I chose to breach was a folkway norm. Folkway norms are behaviors that society
deems as acceptable and unacceptable behavior such as manners and etiquette. Breaking a
folkway brings no serious consequences like breaking a law. In our experiment, we decided to
violate dining etiquette. Ashely and I realized that it is perfectly acceptable to consume food on
the ground if it is at a park or the privacy of the home and even when most people are
participating in the same behavior. It is, however, strange and unusual to see people dining as if in
a picnic in a public setting where furniture, such as tables and chairs are offered.
