the U.S elderly population comprises of 13.7%. The elderly will outweigh any other aged
population and it is necessary to established resources for the elderly to access. Participants will be
encouraged to establish new relationships with other group members, as well as come to terms with
relationships they once valued.
Purpose and Rationale
The purpose of this group is to help aging adults cope with the process concept of death and coping
with the end of life to which an existential approach will be applied. The everyday aging adult
faces many challenges that have to do with the process of aging, such as loss of certain
privileges (e.g. driving), loss of vision and hearing, loss of friends and family, loss of freedom,
just to name a few. One of the resources to be established is existential group counseling for the
elderly. In existential group counseling, members will explore their purpose and meaning of life.
The World Factbook (2014) states the average life expectancy for males is 76.19 years old,
where for females it is 81.17 years old. As the elderly population increases, resources for the
elderly population appear to be nonexistent when researching for programs or activities. This
means people are getting older and living longer without adequate resources. By 2025, as the U.S.
elderly population nearly doubles, the number of working age adults and children will increase

Locating bass can sometimes prove to be a futile attempt leaving one to wonder, where did they
all go? During one such outing at Shakamak State Park located in Jasonville Indiana. I found

On this trip I found that the bass preferred the scum that covered these lay downs or the scum
that was located near this cover. Bass will cruise along under the cover of the scum in search of
baitfish but prefers to be close to deeper water and cover so that they can move into it if danger

The Process Of The Semi Structured Interview
The process of the semi structured interview was to find participants willing to be interviewed
about cheating. Once I found my participants I recorded our conversations whilst asking them
questions from my already prepared list of questions. I followed the list as I saw fit, mostly
following the questions, but breaking away a little depending on how the conversation flowed and
always going back to my original questions. The domain that was studied were college aged
students, ages 18 25, who were primarily UConn students. College students are seen as a major
demographic for cheating, so by conducting these interviews we are able to see what college
students really think about cheating and whether or not they are viewed correctly in society. In
this study there were a total of 27 participants. 15 of the participants were female and 12 were
male. The ages ranged from 19 25.
My process of finding themes in the data was to start by reading each transcript fully until I started
to see where people talked the mosts and brought up the most interesting points. Then I would read
more transcripts focusing on those questions. From there I found multiple themes that occurred in
many of the transcripts, then I narrowed them down to the four major themes that I wanted to
discuss in my paper. For first theme is how widespread cheating is. Most people have had
experience with cheating. Even if they never cheated or been cheated on, they know people who
have cheated or been cheated on.

To answer the questions formulated through the symposium, Holocaust and the Moving Image
moves through the five areas of its concentration, with the first section devoted to Film as Witness.
This section uses a number of still photographs taken from personal and archival films created by
the liberators of the Nazi camps to demonstrate how these films were acquired. Of interest is the
idea that the liberating soldiers initially charged with simple document(ary) filming soon learned to
develop and respond to a narrative of suffering and humanity that has earmarked subsequent films
used in the study of the Holocaust. Care is taken within the section, to authenticate the images and
to explain their content in such a way as to avoid pathos and sensationalism although both are
inherent to the subject matter. The editors of Holocaust and the Moving Image use careful editing
and allow the reader to consciously place themselves in the space of the soldiers collecting those
first images. The conversation surrounding the ideas and the filmused as witness does stand up to

How Teachers Reinforce The Kiddos For Good Behavior
In the classrooms I am observing I have noticed many ways in which teachers reinforce the
kiddos for good behavior. Each teacher has their own rewards system. I have witnessed a rainbow
chart, a marble system and a stick chart. I have also noticed that many of the teachers do multiple
activities with a lesson in hopes that the information will reach the kiddos long term memory. The
teachers use verbal lessons, hands on activities and written reflections. Each class has their rules
and what is considered appropriate behavior. It has been interesting to see how each teacher
rewards their students and how they make it known what is and isn t okay for the students to do.
Two of the teachers I work with a lot have a very good rewards system going as a way of
reinforcing good behavior. The first teacher uses a rainbow chart and when the students get to the
top they get to choose a prize from the bucket. The other teacher uses a marble system. Each table
and student has the chance to gain marbles along with the class as a whole. If students are
listening and behaving they may get marbles to put in their tables container. If the whole class is
doing an awesome job, the marbles get put into the classes jar. When the students get enough
marbles their table gets a prize or reward of some sort, positive reinforcement. The kiddos get so

The setting of Alistair Macleod s short story, The Boat, complements the setting of Alden Nowlan
s poem, Warren Pryor. Each of these writing pieces contain the element of a smaller town with a
tight knit community. In the short story The Boat, our community is a Nova Scotian community
whose primary industry is fishing. This results in most of the members of the community
partaking in the fishing lifestyle. Another influential location this writing piece takes place in is
inside of the house, which was one of about fifty that marched around the horseshoe of [his]
harbour, (Macleod 263). Most of the homes in this town are situated close to the water as it is
there where most of the men work as fishermen. Inside the house was his father s room where
