This rubric evaluates student participation in a simulation or role-play activity based on 5 criteria: 1. Participation in preparation and presentation - how willing and focused the student is. 2. Presentation of character - how well the student communicates their character's feelings, situation, and motives. 3. Achievement of purpose - how clearly and effectively the student establishes and sustains the purpose. 4. Use of non-verbal cues - how well the student uses gestures, eye contact, props, costumes, etc. 5. Imagination and creativity - how thoughtfully the student's choices enhance the role play.
