What is a portfolio?
• A portfolio is a compilation of teachers
past and on-going accomplishment.
• It contains all the evidences that support
the claims of the teacher in the appraisal
system.
• It contains the teachers’ thoughts, insights,
feelings about teaching-learning among
others that relate to their everyday life in
the school setting.
What is a Portfolio?
• Your guide in the preparation of a
Teacher’s Portfolio is your copy of the
Performance Rating ( PAST ). The First
and Second Semester PAST can be
placed in your portfolio.
• Remember that your performance rating
depends on your accomplishment for
every semester.
What is the purpose of a
Teacher’s Portfolio?
• To showcase results of assessment of
strengths and weaknesses, plans for
professional development, and
improvement of learning outcomes.
• It should contain corresponding
accomplishments as evidences of
teaching performance.
What are the content of a Portfolio?
• The Cover – it contains the title of your
portfolio. The title should tells something
about yourself. It can be your
characteristic or attitude.
