REVOSTEAM is the conventional forced circulation type water tube coil type boiler incorporating the unique principle of combustion known as ‘Reverse Flow’. It increases the combustion efficiency and allows a high rate of heat release. It can be offered in both IBR and Non-IBR designs

2. WHAT IS A BOILER
As per the definition of IBR
“Boiler” means a pressure vessel in which steam is generated for use external
to itself by application of heat which is wholly or partly under pressure when
steam is shut off but does not include a pressure vessel ,like:-
o With capacity less then 22.75 litres (such capacity being measured from
the feed check valve to the main steam stop valve)
o With less than one kilogram per centimeter square design gauge pressure
and working gauge pressure; or
o In which water is heated below one hundred degrees centigrade

3. Difference B/w IBR & Non- IBR

 IBR Boilers
It defines a boiler as a steam producing
vessel having capacity more than 25 Ltr.
 Non- IBR Boilers
Any boiler, which is not covered under
IBR i.e. a steam producing vessel whose
volumetric capacity is less than 25 Ltr.

7.  The flame travels inside the boiler in 4-passes:
 1st pass – Vertically down from the burner
 2nd pass – Reverses from bottom towards the top inside the coil
 3rd pass – Travels vertically down in the gap between outer side of coil and the inner shell.
 4th pass – Travels vertically from bottom towards the top inside the economizer.
 In all the four passes, the heat of flue gases is passed on to the water
inside the coil, thereby producing steam.
