NON IBR COIL TYPE BOILER
WHAT IS BOILER
As per the definition of IBR
“Boiler” means a pressure vessel in which steam is generated
for use external to itself by application of heat which is wholly or
partly under pressure when steam is shut off but does not
include a pressure vessel,-
o With capacity less then 25 litres (such capacity being measured
from the feed check valve to the main steam stop valve)
o With less than one kilogram per centimeter square design gauge
pressure and working gauge pressure; or
o In which water is heated below one hundred degrees centigrade
WHAT IS NON IBR BOILER
 Any boiler, which is not covered under IBR i.e. a steam
producing vessel whose volumetric capacity is less than
5 gallons (22.75 liters) is a Non-IBR Boiler.
 The specifications and compulsions of IBR law do not
apply to these boilers.
REVOSTEAM
 REVOSTEAM is the conventional forced
circulation type water tube coil type boiler
incorporating the unique principle of combustion known
as ‘Reverse Flow’. It increases the combustion
efficiency and allows a high rate of heat release.

 It is coil type, water-tube design boiler
 Instant Steam generator
 The volumetric capacity of the coil is always less than 5
gallons, when calculated from water inlet upto steam
outlet valve
 The water flows inside the coil and the flame is on
outside it, providing heat to produce steam.

CONSTRUCTION
 A Water tube Coil type boiler comprises of a
jacketed MS shell housing a helical coil.
 The combustion air is forced through the jacketed shell
by means of a centrifugal blower thereby getting pre-
heated
 The flame travels downwards inside the coil and the
flue gases reverse upwards thereby giving two passes
in the radiant zone ensuring complete combustion and
higher heat flux.
 The third pass of the flue gases is in the convective
zone between the coil and the inner shell.
 Flue gases then travel to the Economizer forming
the fourth pass.

PACKAGED UNIT
 REVOSTEAM is offered as a packaged unit comprising
of the main boiler along with accessories like
economiser, feed pump ,coil pump, blower and control
panel mounted on a base frame
 Only connections to water ,power ,steam and chimney
are required to be done at site
FULLY AUTOMATIC
 REVOSTEAM is a fully automatic boiler and it switches
on and off automatically depending upon a preset steam
pressure controlled through a pressure switch
 Water feeding is also automatic
 Forced circulation, water tube design and REVERSE
FLOW combustion enable the boiler to produce steam at
full working pressure with in 3-5 minutes from cold start

 Revosteam- Water Tube Coil Type Boiler is
available in capacities from 1 hundred Kg/hr to 12
hundred Kg/hr.
