Kristy distributed a questionnaire through Facebook and Instagram to collect responses from people aged 15-30 on their preferences for a music magazine. The questionnaire included questions on font and title preferences for the cover, content preferences for stories and sections, cover photo preferences, pricing, and more. Based on the 55 responses, Kristy decided on the magazine's title "MUSE", a behind-the-scenes cover story theme, an informal interview style, a black and blue color scheme, the use of direct address on the cover, mixed gender coverage, a £2 price point, 3 cover photos in a medium-long shot style, and focusing on pop/R&B music genres popular among respondents.
