Bauer Media
Worldwide
Bauer Media spans across 16
countries and 4 continents
therefore making it an international
brand. Furthermore this is ideal,
however there are negatives with
other parts of the institution for
me.
Brands
Looking at the brands associated with
Bauer Media, I can see that my genre
would not fit in as Mojo and Q are
already similar. Bauer Media would not be
the best institution to own my brand for
these reasons.
Social Media Platform
Whilst looking through Bauer Media’s website I could not find any
form of social media, therefore this institution would not be
suitable for my magazine as the target audience use this and is
the basis of my magazine.
In Conclusion
Overall I have found that Bauer Media would not be the most
appropriate institution to own my magazine, for various reasons.
Bauer already have magazines similar to my genre therefore there is
no gap no gap in the market or my magazine. Furthermore the
company feature no social media on their website, which is not ideal
for me as magazine is very social media orientated. On the other hand
the company is international which would be perfect for my magazine.
Compared to TimesInc, Bauer Media is not suitable to own my
magazine as they don’t include many of the basic requirements.
