Character Changes In Macbeth
The general argument made by Shakespeare in Macbeth is everything has consequences.
More specifically, Shakespeare argues that Macbeth, the character, has many character changes.
These changes were mainly by force from others and the ambition from himself. Macbeth goes from
being known for his honor and bravery to being known as a devious, brutal killer.
Throughout Shakespeare s play, Macbeth, the main character Macbeth faces many major changes.
Macbeth showed how evil he was compared to the way he was viewed in the beginning

At the beginning of Macbeth, Lady Macbeth is seen as a kind wife of Macbeth but under the kindness
is a scheming and treacherous woman. When Lady Macbeth reads a letter from Macbeth, she dreams
of becoming queen. She basically is the control of Macbeth, she quietly, sneakingly controls him.
Macbeth is quite ambitious at first and Lady Macbeth sees that, she far exceeds this. Lady Macbeth
convinces Macbeth to do whatever it takes to become royalty. She then is able to get Macbeth to agree
with her to kill King Duncan.
In act II of Macbeth, King Duncan is murdered by Macbeth. Snider (1986) argued that,
Macbeth has begun to hear the language of bad magic, of murder, specifically one great act of murder,
regicide, the killing of the king, in Shakespeare that cataclysmic act, that crime against the state,
against the soul and against the self. All of this convincing for royalty leads Macbeth in becoming ok
with the thought of murder. The murder of the king had a lot to do with Lady
Macbeth. She planed and organizes the murder in act I of the play to become queen.

In the beginning of Macbeth, it was clear that Macbeth hated the thought of murder

Advantages Of Forensic Imaging
Forensic imaging, particularly MRI technology is crucial in determining the cause of death in forensic
pathology. There are a few main techniques for forensic imaging, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI),
post mortem computed tomography (PMCT), and conventional radiography. The PMCT is generally
used for gunshot wounds, detection of gas embolism, trauma cases, and changes in the skeletal
system. Some advantages of this technique are that it is fast, easy to handle, good three dimensional
reconstruction, excellent visuals of the skeletal system and gases in the body. However, it is not
without disadvantages like how it uses radiation meaning companies must protect their employees, it
has limited data storage, limited visualization of soft tissue and employees must go through extensive
training to be authorized to operate it. MRIs can be used for trauma cases, strangulation, detection of
foreign objects, and medical errors. Some advantages of this technique are that there is no radiation
involved, it is good at visualizing soft tissue, and that since it can visualize soft tissue so easily it can
identify a multitude of different problems. Some disadvantages are that it is time consuming,
expensive, and there is extensive training needed to operate it. The last type of imaging technique that
will be covered is conventional radiography which can detect foreign bodies and changes or lesions of
the skeletal system and is used when the corpse cannot fit into the CT machine. The advantages of this
technique are that it is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

A Critique of DiLorenzo s The Real Lincoln Essay
A Critique of the Real Lincoln
The Real Lincoln: A New Look at Abraham Lincoln, His Agenda, and an Unnecessary War, by
Thomas J. DiLorenzo completely shatters the illusion of the 16th President as the liberator of the
slaves. DiLorenzo provides convincing evidence for Lincoln s overt racism as expressed in his
documented views on racial supremacy as stated in his desire to colonize all American blacks outside
the United States (p. 4); Lincoln s views were matched by the majority in the North who used such
tools as state constitutional amendments to prohibit the emigration of black people into Northern
states like Lincoln s home of Illinois (p. 4); and that the Presidents war which killed 620, 000
Americans and destroyed 40% of the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
DiLorenzo shows that Lincoln s entire agenda was focused on advancing these three goals. Many
southern states believed with the coming of Lincoln into the White House he would push for his
agenda of increased federal government spending and control.
So when Lincoln suspended the writ of Habeas corpus in order to arrest those accused of treason, the
Peace Democrats had more ammunition against the president. There was much controversy as to
whether the president had the power to suspend habaes corpus, and it was argued that only Congress
had that right. The writ of habeas corpus protects people from arbitrary arrest and detainment. The
power to do so was both that of the legislative branch as well as the judicial branch. It was unclear
whether the Philadelphia convention placed it in Article I, just to identify it or define it as a legislative
function. Either way, Lincoln did so, and the suspension of the writ of Habeas corpus brought on
thousands of arbitrary arrests. Many of those who were arrested were spies, foreigners and smugglers.
The question is: Did Lincoln go too far and unlawfully exercise his executive powers to manipulate
constitutional limits?
Thomas DiLorenzo spends the rest of the book discussing secession, Lincoln s assumption of war
powers, his resort to total warfare, the story of Reconstruction, the cruel Indian

Essay about The Whiteness of the Whale
The Great White Whale and its Many Meanings Herman Melville, in his epic novel Moby Dick,
utilizes the symbolism of the color of the Great White Whale to demonstrate his theme of duality.
However, Captain Ahab tragically had a single mind set towards Moby Dick, as he believed that the
whale was the symbol of the world s evil and had to be destroyed. On the other hand, Ishmael sees
that the color white can mean many various and opposing things. It would be dangerous to settle upon
any one single meaning. In the chapter, The Whiteness of the Whale, Melville explains the importance
of duality of meaning in the world, as opposed to man s (and Ahab s) desire to see only one meaning
in any one thing. Melville utilizes the symbol of the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He believed that the color of white had many meanings to many persons. Ishmael realized that the
color white can represent beauty. Whiteness refiningly enhances beauty, as if imparting some special
virtue of its own, as in marbles, japonicas, and pearls. Another characteristic of the color white is
strength, such as that of the polar bear or the great white shark. Ishmael also said the white can mean
spirited leadership, such as the great white steeds. Contributes to the daily state of kings and queens
drawn by milk white steeds; though even in the higher mysteries of the most august religions is has
been made the symbol of the divine spotlessness an power. Unlike Ahab, Ishmael saw the duality in
white as he also understood that white could also be awesome, even fearsome, as man gazes across the
white wastes of the prairies covered with snow and ice, or the white foaming sea hurled upon the
rocky coasts by a frightful storm. To view his ship sailing through a midnight sea of milky whiteness
as if from encircling headlands shoals of combed white bears. Due to Ishmaels s ability to view the
whiteness of Moby Dick through many viewpoints it secured his survival on the inevitably disastrous
voyage of the Pequod. Melville presents the various meanings of the color white. He shows the reader
that no one thing means anything definitely. The meaning of any object comes from in the values the

Prozac Nation Analysis
We re Living In a Prozac Nation, The United States Of Depression
When we break our arm everyone runs forward to sign the cast but when we say we have depression
everyone turns and runs the other way. This author shows how severe depression can form and issues
that can be associated with severe depression. The way Elizabeth Wurtzel depicts depression and the
substance abuse that can be related to severe depression is impeccable in her non fiction novel Prozac
Nation. Depression affects more than 350 million people worldwide and is the most common of all the
mental illnesses, it doesn t have a cure but it is manageable with proper medication. Elizabeth Wurtzel
has said I made Prozac Nation a necessary reading because I write necessarily. I tell my story because
it is about everyone else: in 1993, people took pills to relieve the pain just like they do now, but it
scared them; it doesn t anymore, because talk is not cheap at all it is tender i think this is very
important because it shows how hushed the talk about the facts on mental illness are. Although
depression is shown to be an individual illness, the author effectively demonstrates the massive toll
depression takes on family and friends. For example, depression takes a toll on your family and
friends by having to watch you suffer and be in pain and not be able to do anything about it. Secondly,
your family and friends are stuck watching as depression takes you

The geographical influences also bring various differences between them. In Europe, the christianity

##2 2 4 Medium Form (Language Based Literature(poem), Visual Based Image)
Inferno is a poem (literature) that suggests the descriptions via language. However, propaganda by
North Korea is a visual artwork that depicts via images. This difference brings a huge difference in
perceiving information from the artwork. However, considering that the Inferno had an extensive use
of all senses in descriptions, Inferno can be considered as the part of showing instead of telling.
According to the Introduction to the Inferno, due to his meticulous depictions of the senses and
emotions, Archibald T. MacAllister described that the Inferno is really a three dimensional art .

The fear brought from Inferno inherits itself within the individual and religion. The fear of hell is
solely dependent upon oneself or religion. For instance, throughout the Inferno, Dante is trying to
understand what he had done in his life. He tries to reach the salvation as he takes a look at the hell.
The fear of death and beyond death is solely dependent to the person who committed the sins. The
religion clearly explains the procedure by describing the eternal suffering in the blazes. Therefore, if
the person tries hard enough to overcome the fear of death, it is possible to overcome the fear of the
margin, Unlike the fear of hell which was originally within the individual and religion, the fear
brought from the propaganda is based on the other individual and politics. The system does not allow
people to overcome the fear from the propaganda. Instead, people reinforce the fear in order to utilize
the negative emotion to make people obedient. Therefore, the fear is mostly dependent on the other

BETWEEN DIGITAL AND SPATIAL SPAN TASKS. ABSTRACT The purpose of this experiment
was to measure short term memory span by looking into the relationship between two span tasks:
digital and spatial. The experiment measured digit span and spatial span for each participant by
carrying out two trials of each task out at the end of which the participants noted their scores down.
The participants task was to recall the sequence of the spatial blocks and digits. After the two tasks
were completed the correlation between the two tasks and their scores was calculated and the
participants memory span was calculated. The results demonstrated that spatial span and ... Show

apparatus used in this experiment was a Macintosh PowerPC with a purpose built experimental
software installed to display the digital span and spatial span tasks. In order to counterbalance the
measurement procedures a coin was tossed to decide the order. A mouse and a chair were also
provided. MATERIALS In this experiment digital span material (which assesses verbal short term
memory) and spatial span material (also known as the Corsi blocks task) was used and these were
presented on the computer screen for the participants. In order to replicate the original study by
Smyth, M, m and Scholey, K. A.(1996) a computer presentation was used for both the tasks so that the
two tasks could be presented under similar conditions. In the spatial span task, participants were
shown a set of fixed spatial locations and then were presented with a short sequence of those locations
which the participants had to remember and reproduce in that order. The digit span task on the other
hand had numbers from 1 to 9. DESIGN This experiment was a correlational study. The digital span

Edward Taylor And Anne Bradstreet
Throughout this class we have read different types of literature from many different authors. Some of
the material I truly enjoyed and some of it not so much. I really enjoyed the Native American literature
that we started out with in the beginning of the semester. I think the Native Americans are beautiful
people who appreciated the land more than most. The Native Americans were smart people who used
short stories such as The Chief s Daughters and Coyote and Bear to warn their readers of dangers or
teach them moral lessons. I also enjoyed authors such as Edward Taylor, Anne Bradstreet, and Thomas
Paine. I did not like reading William Byrd s material, chiefly because he was rude and spoke nastily of
the Native Americans. It personally offended me that he thought their belief of afterlife to be gross and
sensual .
I have read material from many different authors and although I enjoyed most of them, I have to say
that my two favorites were Edward Taylor and Anne Bradstreet. Both of these authors are Puritans,
and it is easy to tell when reading their pieces. Puritans typically write in simple language, and always
refer to God. Edward Taylor created a powerful analogy in his piece, Upon a Spider Catching a Fly.
The analogy that he describes is an analogy between people and Satan. The spider represents the devil,
who is manipulative and wants to trap people in his web of sin. The wasp represents someone who is
strong in their faith and does not let themselves get trapped in

Polar Bear Evolution Is a Continuing Story Essay
Polar Bear Evolution is a Continuing Story
The polar bear, the largest land carnivore in North America, one of the largest animals in the world
and a favorite at zoos worldwide, has, over the years, adapted to its harsh Arctic environment. The
appropriately named ursus maritimum or sea bear usually lives between 15 and 18 years in the wild
and spends most of its life on ice. It is the most recent of the eight bear species. The first polar bear
was a brown bear subspecies, with brown bear dimensions and brown bear teeth. The polar bear
evolution was rapid due to the small population and extreme pressure to survive. Even today, the polar
bear continues to evolve to better adapt to the harsh realities of Arctic life.
Today s polar bear ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Evolution of the polar bear also resulted in curved, needle sharp claws for clinging to ice and grabbing
prey. In addition, they developed large, partially webbed paws to assist with swimming. On land, their
enormous paws are useful for traveling across loose snow and the paws provide a bigger area to
spread their weight across on thin ice. Another adaptation is the polar bear s longer neck which is
needed to keep their head above water when swimming (Polar Bear Evolution 1995). All of these
characteristics, unique to the polar bear, have been part of its evolution.
The hearing and eyesight of polar bears is quite similar to human beings, however, over the years, the
polar bear developed an extraordinary sense of smell. According to Canadian Wildlife magazine, polar
bears can smell seals at ranges up to 32 kilometers (2002). They can smell through thick snow and
even through ice. This unique ability was an important part of the evolutionary process for survival in
Arctic conditions where vegetation is severely limited and food may be miles away.
The favorite food of the polar bear is the ringed seal, however if hungry enough, they will eat other
breeds of seals including bearded, harp, hooded and harbor. Polar bears will also eat beluga whales
and walrus (Field Guide 2002). At times, they will even eat eggs, crabs and kelp (Milius 1994). The
polar bear is strong enough to lift a beluga whale, several times its own weight, out of the water for a

Rembrandt Impact On Art
Dutch painter, Rembrandt van Rijn, went beyond the traditional art styles and changed the art world
forever. He lived during the Dutch Golden Age. The Dutch Golden Age took place in the 17th
Century. It was a time in the Netherlands when wealth, power, and culture flourished like never before
(Rembrandt and the). Artists such as Rembrandt took advantage of the changes and captured the
transformation of the world through art. Rembrandt was born on July 15, 1606. First he had to develop
as an artist, then he was able to become an independent artist which lead to the rest of his life. By his
death on October 4, 1669, he left his mark on the art world forever (Rembrandt Biography). In order

the sharp eye Rembrandt had (Liedtke). No matter what genre of artwork, Rembrandt always

Rembrandt died October 4, 1669. Rembrandt himself may have left the earth, but his impact on the art
world will never leave. Rembrandt is important to the art world because he showed other artists that it
was okay to make your artwork your own. He added his own style to realism. For example, he would
alter some proportions of the legs in some pieces (Kitson 12). Throughout Rembrandt s career he didn
t just stay at one specific art subject (Kitson 14). He did Biblical, mythological, classical, and
landscapes (Kitson 11, Gowing 569). So, his style was constantly changing (Rembrandt van Rijn). An
artist doesn t have to stick to one specific media or theme of art. His ability to do different genres of
art widened his artistic ability. Rembrandt went beyond the traditional 17th century art. He showed
future artists to pour emotion into their art, make it their own, and it s okay to go beyond the

An Outline Of Physician Assisted Suicide
OUTLINE
Title: Physician Assisted Suicide: Right to life, Right to death
I. A. Introduction
1. (problem PAS): In today s society, Physician Assisted Suicide is one of the most questionable and
debatable issues. Many people feel that it is wrong for people to ask their doctor to help them end their
life; while others feel it is their right to choose between the right to life and the right to death.
Suffering has always been a part of human existence. (PAS) Physicians have no similar duty to
provide actions, such as assistance in suicide, simply because they have been requested by patients. In
deciding how to respond to patients requests, physicians should use their judgment about the medical
appropriateness of the request. (Bernat, JL) Physician Assisted Suicide differs from withholding or
discontinuing medical treatment, it consists of doctors providing a competent patient with a
prescription for medication to aid in the use to end their life.
2. generally right to decide treatment: Patients generally have the right to decide their treatment
however; others measures of treatment should be discussed with the patients. Patients should be
competent when deciding to refuse treatment and understand what their options are, however; this
should not include physician assisted suicide. Patients do not have to suffer or be in pain, there are
many medical options to help the patient through palliative care that will keep them comfortable.

My Experience In Poetry
A few years ago, I found myself at a local coffee shop for a poetry slam. It was around the same time
that I was trying to come to terms with life without my grandmother. She had been in the hospital for
quite a long time, and I was surprised I found even a moment to show up to the poetry slam between
my regular visits to the hospital, school, and other commitments. Nevertheless, I still found myself
before the coffee shop entrance. The aroma and warmth from the inside were compelling, but I still
hesitated. I had on a sweater and a jacket, but they were not quite enough. I shivered as I nervously
entered to shop, my poem clinched in the numbness of my hand. I had prepared a poem as a final
goodbye to my grandmother, but I felt like I needed it to be recited for practice before I read it to her.
Part of me still hoped that I would not have to read it to her at all. I found the nearest empty seat and
waited anxiously for my turn to read my poem. When my name was called my heart falls to the floor,
the paper in my hand quivered loudly, and the room was quiet enough to hear it. I paced toward the
stage and introduced myself and the title of the poem once I got there. Then I began to read. At first I

The Oscar Whiteness Machine, By Richard Brody
The Oscar Whiteness Machine, written by Richard Brody, was published in the online The New

their white movie critics, one of the subjects of this article, since 2005. In the Article Brody takes the
stance of a social justice warrior, proclaiming war on all those complicit in the disparity between
white and black; especially in the film arena. His subject changes with paragraphs, movie critics,
Oscar nominees and watchers, readers of the article, and anyone discriminatory. The Oscar Whiteness

Nucleic Acid Investigation
The purpose of the introductory activity was to analyze the pH of a mixture of a strong base and weak
acid. The purpose of the guided inquiry lab was to analyze the concentration of sodium carbonate by
titrating the substance using a nitic acid solution.
Introductory Activity
5 mL of both 0.2 M ammonia and 0.1 M acetic acid were placed in separate test tubes and their pH
was determined with pH paper. A mixture was created by pouring both together and its final pH was
recorded. The strength of the acid and base was determined and whether the two had equal
concentration. Each indicator was researched (its colors when it s acidic/basic and its pH transition
range) and phenolphthalein was deemed suitable for this experiment. 5 mL of acetic acid was poured
into a test tube and 1 2 drops of phenolphthalein were added. The initial color was recorded. 10 mL of
ammonia was obtained in a graduated cylinder and using the graduated pipet, the base was added to
the acid in 1 mL increments. Upon reaching the equivalence point, the indicator color and the amount
of base required to obtain this point were recorded. The relative concentrations of the acid and base
were then estimated.

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Dispute Resolution
CHAPTER II
ARBITRATION OF INTERNATIONAL COMMERCIAL DISPUTES
2.1 Introduction
?The realisation, in the words of Lord Simon of Glaisdale, that litigation, while certainly preferable to
personal violence is not in itself an intrinsically desirable activity, has encouraged the search for other
methods of dispute resolution each of which has attracted it adherents and enthusiasts. One of the
oldest and best established of these systems is that of arbitration.?[footnoteRef:1] [1: Galway City
Council v Samuel Kingston Construction Ltd [2010] 3 IR 95. O?Donnell J]
There has been a wide range of debate to create a more expeditious dispute resolution method for
settling commercial disputes amongst businessmen and lawyers who are involved with international
trade across national borders.[footnoteRef:2] Until recently, commercial courts were congested due to
the number of commercial disputes pending before them. There was a need for other dispute
resolution methods to bridge this gap, expedite matters and to promote business transactions.
Arbitration, mediation and conciliation were adopted by states to supplement the normal court system.
However, we are yet to reach that point where one can boldly say that, the alternative dispute
resolution methods to the courts are expedient. [2: Herbert Buston, ?Arbitration of International

members continue to die. In 1860 Charles tried burning his personal papers . Him separating from his
wife was something widely public, but what wasn t known was that he had a mistress who was fairly
younger than him. Dickens in many of his writings gives characters who have lives of poverty, enter
through the gates of opportunity, but there is no happy, romantic ending. In Great Expectations Pip

Dickens. His heart becomes a stone wall with three layers of concrete to let no one in. During Charles
Dickens lifetime he was at the top of life and at the bottom of his life, resurrecting back from the
darkest place to what seemed to be a golden age, using characters Dr. Manette and Sydney

Supernatural Elements In Beowulf And The Lais Of Marie De...
Medieval and 16th century writers frequently used supernatural elements to tell their stories. Two
stories that are examples of this writing with supernatural elements are Beowulf , written by an
anonymous Anglo Saxon poet, and Lanval , from The Lais of Marie de France, written by Marie de
France. Both writers use supernatural elements in their stories to reflect emotions such as love, evil,
and power. The role of the supernatural in medieval writing helps writers to tell their stories by
developing the theme and the emotions of the characters as shown in Beowulf and Lanval . Beowulf
has many characters from the supernatural. Some of the main supernatural characters are the demon

people were terrified by these demons as stated by the unknown author, All were endangered; young
and old were hunted down by that dark death shadow who lurked and swooped in the long nights on
the misty moors; nobody knows where these reavers from hell roam on their errands. (pg. ?, lines 159

in from these evil demons. The second story is Lanval from The Lais by Marie de France. This story is
a supernatural love story between a very lonely knight from King Arthur s court named Lanval and a
beautiful, mystical lady that he falls madly in love with. The lady promises him riches beyond his
wildest dreams as long as he doesn t tell anyone about her. The supernatural effect indicates that
sometimes love has to be otherworldly to be true and lasting love. Marie de France wrote in Lanval ,

Reconciliation Action Plan
Reconciliation Action Plan The goals and visions behind my reconciliation action plan was to bring
the two sides of Aboriginal and non Aboriginal Australians together in equality and harmony. Since
the colonisation of Australia there has been a vast divide between the two sides that has caused many
serious outcomes for Aboriginal people. My way of contributing to this is to create a better
understanding, restore trust and eradicate racism as a positive way to help close the gap between
Aboriginal and non Aboriginal Australia s. The reason for this report was to explain the steps that

For my first event I took a friend to a movie night hosted by the Notre Dame Student Association and

Utopia and a follow up survey. This extraordinary film gives a deep insight into the First Australians
struggles of harsh dispossession and the ongoing deaths and poverty. Pilger puts the hard word on
many members of the Australian government who are responsible for many deaths, explorations,
betrayals and breaches to Aboriginal peoples human rights. This film was very moving and had a great
impact on myself who had already studied a lot of this content but seeing it again in a different way
opened my eyes even more to the sadness and grief suffered by Aboriginal people due to
discrimination and lack of justice. As for my friend she was greatly saddened and shocked by what she
has seen. Coming from a very English background she expressed feeling somewhat guilty about what
had happened and how disappointed she was in the Australian government on this matter. The movie
inspired a lengthy conversation about the importance of righting past wrongs for Aboriginal people
and spreading awareness to her family and friends. It was also interesting to discover that when

Double burden of malnutrition in India
Double burden of malnutrition in India Undernutrition and Overnutrition
Introduction
The nutritional double burden, encompassing both undernutrition (stunting, underweight and wasting)
and overnutrition (overweight and obesity), has become an important public health challenge in many
developing countries. Globally, an estimated 99 million under five year olds were underweight in
2012, with the low and middle income countries of Asia accounting for more than 70 percent of these
undernourished children (WHO, 2012a). Although many developing countries have achieved
significant reductions in the prevalence of undernutrition during the past two decades, the pace of
decline was slow and insufficient to meet the Millennium Development Goals ... Show more content

Therefore, it is important that the issues of nutritional double burden in many developing countries
need to be addressed in the context of socioeconomic status. This could help identify the complex
interplay of social, economic, and political determinants of undernutrition and overnutrition.
Many developing countries are growing economically, and it can be expected that the prevalence of
undernutrition would decrease and obesity would become a problem among wealthy and privileged
classes. However, research has shown that obesity and associated non communicable diseases(NCDs)
are increasingly affecting all sectors of society, and the poor or disadvantaged are more likely to be
vulnerable to these health hazards (Khandelwal et al., 2013). Also, it can be seen that many
developing countries are still incapable of dealing with these health challenges of nutritional double
burden, therefore in order to minimize adverse nutritional outcomes, there need to be a reconsideration
of current policies and further understanding of these health challenges.
Prevalence and consequences of nutritional conditions in India
India is one of the developing countries which are experiencing multiple transitions in its nutritional
pattern along with a rapid socioeconomic development. The pace of poverty reduction in India has
been accelerating during the last ten years, but over 50 percent of the population in India is still

The Character of Don John in Much Ado About Nothing Essay
In the play Much ado about nothing , Don John is a puppet whose strings are pulled by various
characters and the society in which he lives. Although he does monkey businesses like every character
in the play, he is the one who gets harshly judged and punished for it. His villainy is not an innate trait
but rather, he chooses it to distinguish him from others. Don John is the illegitimate half brother of
Don Pedro in the play. Don Pedro is the Prince of Aragon and is highly respected throughout the play,
whereas Don John is treated with cautious attention and indifference. In Act one scene three, Leonato

identification within the play, as he is a bastard born. His birth status automatically makes him

Borachio comes with the news of an approaching marriage, Don John plans to create mischief for the

Child Sex Trafficking In The United States
Child sex trafficking is the profitable sexual act induced by force, fraud, coercion or a person is lured
to have sex before they reach 18 years of age. It includes all the activities of recruiting, harboring,
patronizing, advertising, transporting or obtaining children for sexual services involuntarily, through
servitude, debt bondage, peonage or slavery. Due to advanced technology, it has acquired new course.
It has become a complex phenomenon involving multiple stakeholders at commercial as well as

School Counselor Career Goals

setting up the collaboration of district resources instead of the current departmental divisions, and
synergizing through a team approach. Given that I currently am in the position of School Counselor I
understand I need a deeper knowledge base to best serve the students. I believe that the goal of
becoming a certified school counselor will be achieved through the education, residency, practicum,
and internship that are part of this program. As a Professional School Counselor, I hope to impact
change across my school district with setting up collaboration of district resources resources for the
benefit of all students. I have worked in a system in which everything stays very departmentalized and
I would like to see synergizing across those departments. Turning the district into a true team is a long
term achievable goal, with myself as the counselor just being one member of that team (Erford, 2015).

Abstract 2 Naphthol has been selectively oxidized to 2 hydroxy 1,4 naphthoquinone (HNQ, Lawsone)
with hydrogen peroxide in presence of
5, 10, 15, 20 tetrakis (p sulfonatophenyl)porphinatomanganese (III) chloride as catalyst in alkaline
aqueous solution. The catalytic oxidation afforded
2 hydroxy 1,4 naphthoquinone in high yield (95 %). The effect of reaction parameters on the catalytic
activity and the yield of HNQ have been investigated. UV vis spectral analysis during oxidation
reaction indicated that oxomanganese intermediate O=Mn(IV)TPPSCl was the active species in the
oxidation reaction.

Symptoms And Symptoms Of Anxiety
Normal and Abnormal Anxiety
Anxiety is a reaction to things that stress you. It is normal to have some anxiety at work, school, or
home. It is when anxiety becomes a daily occurrence with no known cause that it is categorized as a
disorder. Anxiety, panic, and depression often begin with normal stress that gets out of control.
Hectic lifestyles lead to poor eating habits, less restful sleep, deficiencies in vitamins and minerals the
body needs, and higher levels of stress. You don t have to work outside the home to experience stress,
anxiety, and/or depression. It can happen to stay at home parents, working parents, students, young

In his first stint in the UFC from 2008 2011, Lesnar had a record of 4 3 with 2 of those wins coming

The Ways We Lie Argument Essay
Lies have been around for as long as people have been. We all lie, whether it is to protect someone we
love of to cover up something we don t want others to know about, it is still lying, and we all do it
everyday. Lying has become the new normal for our modern society, so much so, that some of us have
lost our morals completely. It is just so much easier and quicker to just lie to someone than to tell the
truth, and now you can never tell who is lying to you or who is telling the truth. People use to have
morals about lying and many people would feel bad about it and teach their children to never lie, but
now in today s society they just pop out of our mouths like they re nothing. We will never stop lying

We believe it because it is in a local or national magazine, and we think that no one would try to lie to
that many people at once. As children we are taught to not question the things that adults tell us. We
are suppose to just believe what they tell us and we are not to question our parents or our teachers. As
we grow older and wiser though, we learn that our parents and teachers lie just like everyone else and
that not everyone tells the truth. Even the presidents lie, like Bill Clinton when he tried to hide his
affair with another woman. Because of his life he was impeached by the House of Representatives and
he lost the trust of an entire nation with one lie. As we grow we learn that our lives can affect other
people and maybe even hurt them, and most of all that lying can cause people to lose their trust in us.
We will never be able to eliminate lying from our society because it makes our lives easier; it is just
easier to tell a lie. We will always want to hide things from our friends, and parents and add those little
things to our stories that make our lives sound better and more interesting. It is a little scary how use
to lying that we have become and how easily that we will believe these lies. We will always want to

Evolution Of The Baseball Bat
The evolution of the baseball bat dates back to when baseball was a growing sport. The first wood bats
cannot be compared with today s wood bats, and the BESR bats of the past cannot be compared with
the modern BBCOR bats. The first wood baseball bats were considered sticks because they did not
have a lot of pop, which is how hard the ball bounces off of the bat. As the wood bat progressed, the
ball began to fly farther and travel faster. This change in wood baseball bats can be related to the
change in metal bats. When metal bats were first introduced, they were considered inferior to wood
bats until the new and improved BESR bats were introduced. These bats had more pop than ever
before, and were considered dangerous. Because of this danger, the BBCOR bats had to be introduced
in 2011. Because of the major advances in technology, bat manufacturers are able to tune the bats to
the BBCOR certifiable level. The introduction of BBCOR bats into college and high school baseball
has moved the game in a positive direction by making baseball more realistic, creating a safer game,
and making it easier to project a player s future.
First of all, baseball bats come in many different shapes and sizes for all levels of play. The youth
baseball bats have a different level of pop than the adult version of the baseball bats. For instance, the
youth baseball bats have a pop level of 1.15, and the adult versions of the bats have a pop level of .50.

groups, and in classrooms. To further back up this discovery, researchers found out that when men
talked the range lasted from 10.66 to 17.07 seconds, while when women talked it lasted from 3 to 10
seconds. Report talk and Rapport talk are two different techniques men and women use when they
communicate with each other. Report talk deals more with men and public speaking, while rapport
talk deals with women and private speaking. Report talk is used by men because they feel more
comfortable talking in public than women do. When men talk they joke around, tell stories, this is a
way for them to get attention. That s why men are more comfortable speaking in larger groups made
up of people they know less. Rapport talk is when women talk to each other on a more personal level.
Women talk mostly to other women , to gossip, to see how their day went, and just to get to know each
other. Women feel the closest when they feel at home or when their with people they feel close and
comfortable with. The reason why women find it so difficult to talk in public is, this is the way they
were conditioned. Women are looked at as being to talkative, why because when they do

Cezanne Vs Matisse
Introduction
Henry Matisse s Le bonheur de vivre (The Joy of Life) and Picasso s Les Demoiselles d Avignon are
considered as great artworks of modern art. The both are inspired by postimpressionism and also
broken the old style that is depicted by Cezanne. In this essay, I would like to argue how the two are
inspired by Cezanne art piece and how eminence they are.
Paul Cezanne s The Large Bathers
Cézanne got rid of the traditional presentation of paintings that is point on the space and colors. And
he deliberately followed firm format than changing colors. He also reduces the basic essentials of all
natural things to express with the circle, cylinder or cone. By so doing, we say this kind of artists are

In his painting Les Demoiselles d Avignon, he is considered as the first Cubist painting. The subject of
prostitution is from Manet s Olympia, or Cezanne s painting. But the landscape is not the same
breaking style. This is the practice of exorcising painting. He created it with multi figure composition
than the domain of the single figure. That was depicted by emotional and intellectual control.
In Conclusion, Matisse and Picasso s painting not only were not inspired by the Cezanne s The Large
Bathers but also broke the old rule through their appealing quality form and style. Cezanne is
considered as a Post Impressionists, Matisse was a Fauvist, which focus on emotion expressing colors,
and Picasso created a multi figure composition in the early of 21st century

Battle Cry Of Freedom Summary
James M. McPherson is an American Civil War historian. He is known for writing about his activism,
contemporary issues, and the Civil War. In Battle Cry of Freedom, McPherson goes into great detail
about the military, social, economic, and political events that went on before and during the Civil War.
Peter J. Parish is an author who is also known for writing about Civil War events and the events that
went on during slavery and other times. In The American Civil War, Parish does an excellent job at
describing the events leading up to the Civil War, the war itself, and what it all meant. In The
American Civil War, Parish has chapters full of information on the Emancipation, the Union, and the
Confederacy. At the end of the book, Parish sums up by telling what the Civil War accomplished and
what it did not accomplish. Both The American Civil War and Battle Cry of Freedom touch basis on
events leading to the Civil War, and they both go into great deal about how the Civil War affected
many Americans. In Battle Cry of Freedom, McPherson talks more about military actions, whereas
Parish talks more about the leaders during the Civil War ( The American Civil War ). McPherson
states that lack the dimension of contingency the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The Civil War is written by Robert Paul Jordan. Robert Paul Jordan also writes books about the Civil
War. In The Civil War, Jordan describes the factors leading up to the Civil War, the opening shots at
Fort Sumter to Antietam, and Gettysburg ( The Civil War ). Both books go into great detail on the
events that went on during the Civil War, but McPherson talks more about politics, actors, factors, and

What Are The Six Dimensions Of Health
The Six Dimensions of Health
The Six Dimensions of Health are physical, social, mental, intellectual, spiritual, and environmental.
All the dimensions work together. If you are struggling in one dimension it may cause you to struggle
in others. There are ways you can help keep your dimensions healthy. Practicing theses dimensions
can help you keep healthy and happy. The physical dimension is about how well your body is kept in
shape. This includes personal hygiene, exercise, and how well you eat. Exercising once a day for an
hour is a great way to keep your body in shape. Eating vegetables and fruits is another way to stay
healthy. Avoiding drugs and alcohol is also part of being physically healthy because those can harm
you if you use ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The next time I have a big assignment I want to finish it 3 4 days before it is due. I will write it down
on a board in my room so I am reminded to do it. This will help me be less stressed out when it is
almost due. The intellectual dimension is about being open minded about new things. Learning new
things and expanding your knowledge is part of the intellectual dimension. Being able to engage in
learning and have curiosity is important. It teaches you to be interested when learning new things.
Asking questions when you re in class and participating is a good way to be intellectually healthy. To
be healthier in the intellectual dimension I want to be more open minded. The next time we do a class
project and work with others I want to be able to accept their idea instead of trying to make it my way.
I will listen to the other person s idea and try to collaborate it with mine. I want to do this because I
want to try new ways of doing things and let the other person express their idea. Being open minded
will help me be more accepting to new

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Inverter
Abstract: Nowadays an Inverter is most commonly used device in almost every field. An inverter
gives ac square wave output. The objective of this paper is to obtain a three phase ac voltage output of
3 phase inverter in Simulation. An inverter receives dc supply as input and generates an ac output. The
dc input of 3 phase inverter is obtained by constant dc source. The inverter circuit consists of six
IGBTs which are used for conversion of dc to ac supply. Simulation of 3 phase inverter is done in
MATLAB software.
Keywords: 3 phase inverter, constant dc source, MATLAB software, simulink, THD.
Introduction: An inverter is a DC to AC converter, used to convert a dc input voltage into a
symmetrical ac output voltage of desired magnitude and frequency. The waveshape of output ac
voltage of inverter should be sinusoidal. However, practical inverters give output voltage that are non
sinusoidal and contain harmonics. The waveshapes of output voltage are square, quasi square or
distorted sinusoidal. Inverters used in low and medium power applications normally give square or
quasi square wave output. However, in high power applications sinusoidal waveform is required, so
inverters are carefully designed to give sinusoidal output with low distortion. ... Show more content on

  • 2. Character Changes In Macbeth The general argument made by Shakespeare in Macbeth is everything has consequences. More specifically, Shakespeare argues that Macbeth, the character, has many character changes. These changes were mainly by force from others and the ambition from himself. Macbeth goes from being known for his honor and bravery to being known as a devious, brutal killer. Throughout Shakespeare s play, Macbeth, the main character Macbeth faces many major changes. Macbeth showed how evil he was compared to the way he was viewed in the beginning Initial Character In the beginning of Macbeth, Macbeth was known for honor and bravery. At the beginning of Macbeth, Lady Macbeth is seen as a kind wife of Macbeth but under the kindness is a scheming and treacherous woman. When Lady Macbeth reads a letter from Macbeth, she dreams of becoming queen. She basically is the control of Macbeth, she quietly, sneakingly controls him. Macbeth is quite ambitious at first and Lady Macbeth sees that, she far exceeds this. Lady Macbeth convinces Macbeth to do whatever it takes to become royalty. She then is able to get Macbeth to agree with her to kill King Duncan. In act II of Macbeth, King Duncan is murdered by Macbeth. Snider (1986) argued that, Macbeth has begun to hear the language of bad magic, of murder, specifically one great act of murder, regicide, the killing of the king, in Shakespeare that cataclysmic act, that crime against the state, against the soul and against the self. All of this convincing for royalty leads Macbeth in becoming ok with the thought of murder. The murder of the king had a lot to do with Lady Macbeth. She planed and organizes the murder in act I of the play to become queen. Character Change In the beginning of Macbeth, it was clear that Macbeth hated the thought of murder ... • 3. Advantages Of Forensic Imaging Forensic imaging, particularly MRI technology is crucial in determining the cause of death in forensic pathology. There are a few main techniques for forensic imaging, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), post mortem computed tomography (PMCT), and conventional radiography. The PMCT is generally used for gunshot wounds, detection of gas embolism, trauma cases, and changes in the skeletal system. Some advantages of this technique are that it is fast, easy to handle, good three dimensional reconstruction, excellent visuals of the skeletal system and gases in the body. However, it is not without disadvantages like how it uses radiation meaning companies must protect their employees, it has limited data storage, limited visualization of soft tissue and employees must go through extensive training to be authorized to operate it. MRIs can be used for trauma cases, strangulation, detection of foreign objects, and medical errors. Some advantages of this technique are that there is no radiation involved, it is good at visualizing soft tissue, and that since it can visualize soft tissue so easily it can identify a multitude of different problems. Some disadvantages are that it is time consuming, expensive, and there is extensive training needed to operate it. The last type of imaging technique that will be covered is conventional radiography which can detect foreign bodies and changes or lesions of the skeletal system and is used when the corpse cannot fit into the CT machine. DiLorenzo completely shatters the illusion of the 16th President as the liberator of the slaves. DiLorenzo provides convincing evidence for Lincoln s overt racism as expressed in his documented views on racial supremacy as stated in his desire to colonize all American blacks outside the United States (p. 4); Lincoln s views were matched by the majority in the North who used such tools as state constitutional amendments to prohibit the emigration of black people into Northern states like Lincoln s home of Illinois (p. 4); and that the Presidents war which killed 620, 000 Americans and destroyed 40% of the ... Many southern states believed with the coming of Lincoln into the White House he would push for his agenda of increased federal government spending and control. So when Lincoln suspended the writ of Habeas corpus in order to arrest those accused of treason, the Peace Democrats had more ammunition against the president. There was much controversy as to whether the president had the power to suspend habaes corpus, and it was argued that only Congress had that right. The writ of habeas corpus protects people from arbitrary arrest and detainment. The power to do so was both that of the legislative branch as well as the judicial branch. It was unclear whether the Philadelphia convention placed it in Article I, just to identify it or define it as a legislative function. Either way, Lincoln did so, and the suspension of the writ of Habeas corpus brought on thousands of arbitrary arrests. Many of those who were arrested were spies, foreigners and smugglers. The question is: Did Lincoln go too far and unlawfully exercise his executive powers to manipulate constitutional limits? Thomas DiLorenzo spends the rest of the book discussing secession, Lincoln s assumption of war powers, his resort to total warfare, the story of Reconstruction, the cruel Indian ... Essay about The Whiteness of the Whale The Great White Whale and its Many Meanings Herman Melville, in his epic novel Moby Dick, utilizes the symbolism of the color of the Great White Whale to demonstrate his theme of duality. However, Captain Ahab tragically had a single mind set towards Moby Dick, as he believed that the whale was the symbol of the world s evil and had to be destroyed. On the other hand, Ishmael sees that the color white can mean many various and opposing things. It would be dangerous to settle upon any one single meaning. Prozac Nation Analysis We re Living In a Prozac Nation, The United States Of Depression When we break our arm everyone runs forward to sign the cast but when we say we have depression everyone turns and runs the other way. This author shows how severe depression can form and issues that can be associated with severe depression. The way Elizabeth Wurtzel depicts depression and the substance abuse that can be related to severe depression is impeccable in her non fiction novel Prozac Nation. Depression affects more than 350 million people worldwide and is the most common of all the mental illnesses, it doesn t have a cure but it is manageable with proper medication. Elizabeth Wurtzel has said I made Prozac Nation a necessary reading because I write necessarily. I tell my story because it is about everyone else: in 1993, people took pills to relieve the pain just like they do now, but it scared them; it doesn t anymore, because talk is not cheap at all it is tender i think this is very important because it shows how hushed the talk about the facts on mental illness are. Although depression is shown to be an individual illness, the author effectively demonstrates the massive toll depression takes on family and friends. For example, depression takes a toll on your family and friends by having to watch you suffer and be in pain and not be able to do anything about it. • 10. Edward Taylor And Anne Bradstreet Throughout this class we have read different types of literature from many different authors. Some of the material I truly enjoyed and some of it not so much. I really enjoyed the Native American literature that we started out with in the beginning of the semester. I think the Native Americans are beautiful people who appreciated the land more than most. The Native Americans were smart people who used short stories such as The Chief s Daughters and Coyote and Bear to warn their readers of dangers or teach them moral lessons. I also enjoyed authors such as Edward Taylor, Anne Bradstreet, and Thomas Paine. I did not like reading William Byrd s material, chiefly because he was rude and spoke nastily of the Native Americans. It personally offended me that he thought their belief of afterlife to be gross and sensual . I have read material from many different authors and although I enjoyed most of them, I have to say that my two favorites were Edward Taylor and Anne Bradstreet. Both of these authors are Puritans, and it is easy to tell when reading their pieces. Puritans typically write in simple language, and always refer to God. Edward Taylor created a powerful analogy in his piece, Upon a Spider Catching a Fly. The analogy that he describes is an analogy between people and Satan. The spider represents the devil, who is manipulative and wants to trap people in his web of sin. The wasp represents someone who is strong in their faith and does not let themselves get trapped in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The appropriately named ursus maritimum or sea bear usually lives between 15 and 18 years in the wild and spends most of its life on ice. It is the most recent of the eight bear species. Evolution of the polar bear also resulted in curved, needle sharp claws for clinging to ice and grabbing prey. In addition, they developed large, partially webbed paws to assist with swimming. On land, their enormous paws are useful for traveling across loose snow and the paws provide a bigger area to spread their weight across on thin ice. Another adaptation is the polar bear s longer neck which is needed to keep their head above water when swimming (Polar Bear Evolution 1995). All of these characteristics, unique to the polar bear, have been part of its evolution. The hearing and eyesight of polar bears is quite similar to human beings, however, over the years, the polar bear developed an extraordinary sense of smell. According to Canadian Wildlife magazine, polar bears can smell seals at ranges up to 32 kilometers (2002). They can smell through thick snow and even through ice. This unique ability was an important part of the evolutionary process for survival in Arctic conditions where vegetation is severely limited and food may be miles away. The favorite food of the polar bear is the ringed seal, however if hungry enough, they will eat other breeds of seals including bearded, harp, hooded and harbor. Polar bears will also eat beluga whales and walrus (Field Guide 2002). At times, they will even eat eggs, crabs and kelp (Milius 1994). (problem PAS): In today s society, Physician Assisted Suicide is one of the most questionable and debatable issues. Many people feel that it is wrong for people to ask their doctor to help them end their life; while others feel it is their right to choose between the right to life and the right to death. Suffering has always been a part of human existence. (PAS) Physicians have no similar duty to provide actions, such as assistance in suicide, simply because they have been requested by patients. In deciding how to respond to patients requests, physicians should use their judgment about the medical appropriateness of the request. (Bernat, JL) Physician Assisted Suicide differs from withholding or discontinuing medical treatment, it consists of doctors providing a competent patient with a prescription for medication to aid in the use to end their life. 2. generally right to decide treatment: Patients generally have the right to decide their treatment however; others measures of treatment should be discussed with the patients. • 21. Supernatural Elements In Beowulf And The Lais Of Marie De... Medieval and 16th century writers frequently used supernatural elements to tell their stories. Two stories that are examples of this writing with supernatural elements are Beowulf , written by an anonymous Anglo Saxon poet, and Lanval , from The Lais of Marie de France, written by Marie de France. Both writers use supernatural elements in their stories to reflect emotions such as love, evil, and power. The role of the supernatural in medieval writing helps writers to tell their stories by developing the theme and the emotions of the characters as shown in Beowulf and Lanval . The second story is Lanval from The Lais by Marie de France. This story is a supernatural love story between a very lonely knight from King Arthur s court named Lanval and a beautiful, mystical lady that he falls madly in love with. The lady promises him riches beyond his wildest dreams as long as he doesn t tell anyone about her. The supernatural effect indicates that sometimes love has to be otherworldly to be true and lasting love. Pilger puts the hard word on many members of the Australian government who are responsible for many deaths, explorations, betrayals and breaches to Aboriginal peoples human rights. This film was very moving and had a great impact on myself who had already studied a lot of this content but seeing it again in a different way opened my eyes even more to the sadness and grief suffered by Aboriginal people due to discrimination and lack of justice. Globally, an estimated 99 million under five year olds were underweight in 2012, with the low and middle income countries of Asia accounting for more than 70 percent of these undernourished children (WHO, 2012a). Although many developing countries have achieved significant reductions in the prevalence of undernutrition during the past two decades, the pace of decline was slow and insufficient to meet the Millennium Development Goals ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Therefore, it is important that the issues of nutritional double burden in many developing countries need to be addressed in the context of socioeconomic status. This could help identify the complex interplay of social, economic, and political determinants of undernutrition and overnutrition. Many developing countries are growing economically, and it can be expected that the prevalence of undernutrition would decrease and obesity would become a problem among wealthy and privileged classes. However, research has shown that obesity and associated non communicable diseases(NCDs) are increasingly affecting all sectors of society, and the poor or disadvantaged are more likely to be vulnerable to these health hazards (Khandelwal et al., 2013). Also, it can be seen that many developing countries are still incapable of dealing with these health challenges of nutritional double burden, therefore in order to minimize adverse nutritional outcomes, there need to be a reconsideration of current policies and further understanding of these health challenges. Prevalence and consequences of nutritional conditions in India India is one of the developing countries which are experiencing multiple transitions in its nutritional pattern along with a rapid socioeconomic development. The first wood bats cannot be compared with today s wood bats, and the BESR bats of the past cannot be compared with the modern BBCOR bats. The first wood baseball bats were considered sticks because they did not have a lot of pop, which is how hard the ball bounces off of the bat. As the wood bat progressed, the ball began to fly farther and travel faster. This change in wood baseball bats can be related to the change in metal bats. When metal bats were first introduced, they were considered inferior to wood bats until the new and improved BESR bats were introduced. These bats had more pop than ever before, and were considered dangerous. Because of this danger, the BBCOR bats had to be introduced in 2011. Because of the major advances in technology, bat manufacturers are able to tune the bats to the BBCOR certifiable level. The introduction of BBCOR bats into college and high school baseball has moved the game in a positive direction by making baseball more realistic, creating a safer game, and making it easier to project a player s future. First of all, baseball bats come in many different shapes and sizes for all levels of play. The youth baseball bats have a different level of pop than the adult version of the baseball bats. Report talk deals more with men and public speaking, while rapport talk deals with women and private speaking. Report talk is used by men because they feel more comfortable talking in public than women do. When men talk they joke around, tell stories, this is a way for them to get attention. That s why men are more comfortable speaking in larger groups made up of people they know less. Rapport talk is when women talk to each other on a more personal level. Women talk mostly to other women , to gossip, to see how their day went, and just to get to know each other. Women feel the closest when they feel at home or when their with people they feel close and comfortable with. The reason why women find it so difficult to talk in public is, this is the way they were conditioned. Women are looked at as being to talkative, why because when they do ... • 39. Cezanne Vs Matisse Introduction Henry Matisse s Le bonheur de vivre (The Joy of Life) and Picasso s Les Demoiselles d Avignon are considered as great artworks of modern art. The both are inspired by postimpressionism and also broken the old style that is depicted by Cezanne. In this essay, I would like to argue how the two are inspired by Cezanne art piece and how eminence they are. Paul Cezanne s The Large Bathers Cézanne got rid of the traditional presentation of paintings that is point on the space and colors. And he deliberately followed firm format than changing colors. He also reduces the basic essentials of all natural things to express with the circle, cylinder or cone. By so doing, we say this kind of artists are Post Impressionists. The Post Impressionists ... The subject of prostitution is from Manet s Olympia, or Cezanne s painting. But the landscape is not the same breaking style. This is the practice of exorcising painting. He created it with multi figure composition than the domain of the single figure. That was depicted by emotional and intellectual control. In Conclusion, Matisse and Picasso s painting not only were not inspired by the Cezanne s The Large Bathers but also broke the old rule through their appealing quality form and style. Cezanne is considered as a Post Impressionists, Matisse was a Fauvist, which focus on emotion expressing colors, and Picasso created a multi figure composition in the early of 21st century ... In Battle Cry of Freedom, McPherson goes into great detail about the military, social, economic, and political events that went on before and during the Civil War. Peter J. Parish is an author who is also known for writing about Civil War events and the events that went on during slavery and other times. In The American Civil War, Parish does an excellent job at describing the events leading up to the Civil War, the war itself, and what it all meant. In The American Civil War, Parish has chapters full of information on the Emancipation, the Union, and the Confederacy. At the end of the book, Parish sums up by telling what the Civil War accomplished and what it did not accomplish. Both The American Civil War and Battle Cry of Freedom touch basis on events leading to the Civil War, and they both go into great deal about how the Civil War affected many Americans. In Battle Cry of Freedom, McPherson talks more about military actions, whereas Parish talks more about the leaders during the Civil War ( The American Civil War ). McPherson states that lack the dimension of contingency the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The Civil War is written by Robert Paul Jordan. • 41. What Are The Six Dimensions Of Health The Six Dimensions of Health The Six Dimensions of Health are physical, social, mental, intellectual, spiritual, and environmental. All the dimensions work together. If you are struggling in one dimension it may cause you to struggle in others. There are ways you can help keep your dimensions healthy. Practicing theses dimensions can help you keep healthy and happy. The physical dimension is about how well your body is kept in shape. This includes personal hygiene, exercise, and how well you eat. Exercising once a day for an hour is a great way to keep your body in shape. Eating vegetables and fruits is another way to stay healthy. Avoiding drugs and alcohol is also part of being physically healthy because those can harm you if you use ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The next time I have a big assignment I want to finish it 3 4 days before it is due. I will write it down on a board in my room so I am reminded to do it. This will help me be less stressed out when it is almost due. The intellectual dimension is about being open minded about new things. Learning new things and expanding your knowledge is part of the intellectual dimension. Being able to engage in learning and have curiosity is important. It teaches you to be interested when learning new things. Asking questions when you re in class and participating is a good way to be intellectually healthy. To be healthier in the intellectual dimension I want to be more open minded. The next time we do a class project and work with others I want to be able to accept their idea instead of trying to make it my way. I will listen to the other person s idea and try to collaborate it with mine. I want to do this because I want to try new ways of doing things and let the other person express their idea. • 42. Advantages And Disadvantages Of Inverter Abstract: Nowadays an Inverter is most commonly used device in almost every field. An inverter gives ac square wave output. The objective of this paper is to obtain a three phase ac voltage output of 3 phase inverter in Simulation. An inverter receives dc supply as input and generates an ac output. The dc input of 3 phase inverter is obtained by constant dc source. The inverter circuit consists of six IGBTs which are used for conversion of dc to ac supply. Simulation of 3 phase inverter is done in MATLAB software. Keywords: 3 phase inverter, constant dc source, MATLAB software, simulink, THD. Introduction: An inverter is a DC to AC converter, used to convert a dc input voltage into a symmetrical ac output voltage of desired magnitude and frequency. The waveshape of output ac voltage of inverter should be sinusoidal. However, practical inverters give output voltage that are non sinusoidal and contain harmonics. The waveshapes of output voltage are square, quasi square or distorted sinusoidal. Inverters used in low and medium power applications normally give square or quasi square wave output. However, in high power applications sinusoidal waveform is required, so inverters are carefully designed to give sinusoidal output with low distortion. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
