This document discusses a research project to create an augmented reality application for mobile devices focused on Kumamoto Castle in Japan. The research will be divided into three categories: archive, convey, and interact. The archive category will digitally recreate past forms of Kumamoto Castle through 3D modeling. Convey will simulate motion graphics to present information in real-time. Interact will allow users to interact with augmented objects at the castle to learn about its history. The researcher will use Blender for modeling, Unity for simulation, and Xcode for application development. The goal is to analyze user feedback to improve the virtual experience.
