As Retail Store Manager
Marks & Spencer - India
Day to day functioning of the store - Managing the customers and sales, stock updates, ensuring proper stock
display at the store, cash register, etc.
Stock management - Maintain proper inventory.
Manage key clients - Informing them about new stocks and other schemes, studying their profile and catering to
their tastes.
Marketing - Managing In Store promotions and activities including new season, clearance sales and festivals. Ensure
good window displays through visual merchandising team (creative).
Trend spotting - Tracking customer preference and briefing¬ the creative team for future buying.
Stylist, designers and fashion shoots - Co-ordinate with empanelled stylist, prominent designers and editors of
fashion magazines (in conjunction with the PR agency) for the merchandise for the shoot and recovery of stock post
the shoot.
New clientele - Constantly looking to add new clientele for the store through personal contacts and walk ins.
