Q4. Who would be the audience for your media product?
The audience for my media product is a mixture of both male and females aged from
around 16-30 years of age. This was my chosen age category as that age group was the
most popular when I carried out my survey. I chose bright colours and funky texts to
accommodate this. Throughout the magazine both male and female models ere used so that
one gender wasn’t dominant, allowing my audience to relate to the models.
My magazine costs £2.45 which I think is reasonable and therefore could be targeted at
individuals of all classes (however I do think my magazine is more suitably designed for a
more middle class audience). Through my research I established that individuals with spare
income would choose to spend it on buying music from companies like Spotify/iTunes or
alternatively spend it on festival or concert tickets. As a result of this I included festival
features. Another part of my research concluded that my audience often spent any spare
income on clothing, because of this I decided to dress my models in stylish, fashionable
clothes that would appeal to my audience.
As my individuals in my audience are likely to be lively I chose bright, vibrant colours and
images to include in my magazine to interest them.

  • 1. Q4. Who would be the audience for your media product? The audience for my media product is a mixture of both male and females aged from around 16-30 years of age. This was my chosen age category as that age group was the most popular when I carried out my survey. I chose bright colours and funky texts to accommodate this. Throughout the magazine both male and female models ere used so that one gender wasn’t dominant, allowing my audience to relate to the models. My magazine costs £2.45 which I think is reasonable and therefore could be targeted at individuals of all classes (however I do think my magazine is more suitably designed for a more middle class audience). Through my research I established that individuals with spare income would choose to spend it on buying music from companies like Spotify/iTunes or alternatively spend it on festival or concert tickets. As a result of this I included festival features. Another part of my research concluded that my audience often spent any spare income on clothing, because of this I decided to dress my models in stylish, fashionable clothes that would appeal to my audience. As my individuals in my audience are likely to be lively I chose bright, vibrant colours and images to include in my magazine to interest them.
