Employees who are close to customers and delivery processes are best able to improve satisfaction by knowing where problems lie.

- 4. OBJECTIVE OF QC ๏ถChange in Attitude: From โI donโt careโ to โI do careโ ๏ถSelf Development: Bring out โHidden Potentialโ. ๏ถDevelopment of Team Spirit: Individual vs Team- โI could not do but we did itโ ๏ถImproved Organizational Culture: High motivational level.
- 5. SET UP OF QUALITY CIRCLE Non members Leaders Facilitator Steering committee Top manangement
- 6. Non members: ๏ฝ Help implementing the recommendations. ๏ฝ Members are the main players participate in the meetings, express ideas and develop solutions. Leader: ๏ฝ Elected by the members and line manager can act as the leader. Facilitator: ๏ฝ Is a link between the leader and steering committee. His works includes co ordination, training, initiating formation of QC and feedback.
- 7. Steering Committee: ๏ฝ An apex body operating at plant level. ๏ฝ Is responsible for formulating objectives and provide resources for QC members. Top Management: ๏ฝ The decision making body, provides support and encouragement. ๏ฝ Consists of- chief executive, general managers and senior managers.

CONCEPTS MAKE QC PROCESS MORE EFFECTIVE ๏ถ Persuasion by all parties concerned that tehre is more than one way to solve a problem. ๏ถ Encouragement to clarify and build on each otherโs ideas. ๏ถ Periodic summarizing of the activities by leaders to ensure common understanding. ๏ถ Avoidance of heated arguments in favour of one particular position
