Why Did England Grow During The Industrial Revolution
By late 1700s and early 1800s, United Kingdom was on the brink of Industrial Revolution. Industrial
evolution was basically a period of time where a country had mass productions and new inventions in
technology. Setting aside the time when it started, why did the Industrial Revolution start in Great
Britain? What advantages did England have to initiate the Industrial Revolution? The Industrial
Revolution initiated in United Kingdom because of its surfeit amounts of natural resources, stable
government and economy and developments in new machinery. Britain was the first country to
industrialize as a result of its abundance in natural resources. Britain got its surfeit amount of
resources from its colonies. Around early 1800s, Britain was the sovereign nation in the world,
conquering relatively half of the world. This gave Britain an enormous economic advantage. The
country already enjoyed a vigorous export trade to Europe, the American colonies, India, and ... Show

During this time, inventors have been getting ideas to make a machine that is much more powerful,
efficient yet safe than the bare hand labor. During this time, inventor James Watt, came up with an
idea that uses water and coal to generate the steam that powers the engine. This idea turned out to be
successful and revolutionized the way power is used. By the end of the century, nearly one fifth of
Britain s mechanical production was powered by steam. (ABC CLIO, 2014) . The Steam engine
mainly benefitted the Textile Industry, producing mass amount of fabric and cotton. As the country
advanced in the Steam engine utility, the Steam driven locomotives emerged. These locomotives gave
an immense advantage for transportation as it speeded up the time to reach a place or so. Setting aside
the economic advantages, United Kingdom had political advantages that led to industrial revolution

Advantages Of Electric Car
2. Introduction
2.1 Statement of the Problem
Nowadays, the using of electro car becomes more popular over the world. Most of the people will
drive for work or travel in Zhuhai, and the using of fossil fuel car can cause environmental problem
such as climate change, global warming. Environmental problems are more serious than before. Air
pollution could be caused by releasing off gas from fuel vehicle. The using of electro car is not only
benefit for the environmental problem, but also good for economic development. On the other hand,
there are still a lot of problems need to be solved if we want to popularize the use of electro car in
Zhuhai, such as the limitation of driving distance and long charging time. These kinds of
disadvantages will affect the citizen s willingness of choosing electro car. So we want to find out the
factors that influence Zhuhai citizen willingness of using electro car.

As we know that, electric car is an automobile that using electrical energy propelled by one or more
electric device such as battery. This kind of power will cause the problem of limiting of driving
distance, and the car should charge for the battery again in order to drive for a longer distance. Many
electric designs have limited range, due to the low energy density of batteries compared to the fuel
vehicles. Electric cars mostly have less limited distance for one charge, but fossil fueled cars can
travel for long travel. But they can need time to recharge. On the other hand, electric car can be
charged at home at night, while fossil fueled cars cannot. In America, 71 percent of car drivers drive
less than 40 miles a day, and just for a quick topping up. (UC Davis, 2011).Which means that the
driving distance of electro car is less than fuel vehicle, and the distance of charging is not enough for a

Was World War 1 Inevitable
With over thirty eight million casualties and over seventeen million recorded deaths, the First World
War was one of the deadliest conflicts that the worldwide population has ever seen. World War I has
been particularly exclusive in history in comparison to previous battles, by reason of the first major
involvement of the world s major powers in warfare in addition to the war s foundation of causes that
eventually led to the unavoidable commencement of bloodshed. The First World War was inevitable
for many reasons that traced back to the beginning of the twentieth century, such as the formulation of
European alliances, the inauguration of the armaments race and martial strength in European nations,
and the rise of the encouragement of nationalism ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
These nationalistic feelings allowed European citizens to grow extreme morale in their nation, in
addition their country s individual strength in military and government. With the birth of these
sentiments, however; neighbouring countries that made up the continent were denounced and
portrayed to the public as untrustworthy, uncivilized, and threatening in regards to their country. Due
to this, many rivalries and tensions between borders occurred, with the inclusion of the public in
addition to their powerful leaders. Nationalistic pride was launched in European countries for multiple
different reasons, depending on the state of the country at the time. For example, Great Britain s views
regarding nationalism was apparent in relation to the country s past of maintaining strength and
prosperity through peaceful relations, while nationalism was clear in Germany as a symbol of future
imperialism and overwhelming continental strength. Either way, strong feelings of nationalism
allowed Europe s borders to become even more divided than usual, as a result of providing an outlet
for national superiority and the encouraging antagonization of surroundings nations. In short,
nationalism allowed the First World War to become even more unavoidable, since tensions rose to the
brink of both fear and confidence of the major powers: a perfect setup

Dido s Farewell
The poem, Dido s Farewell by Lina Pastan, dramatizes the conflict between Dido and her depression
after Aeneas leaves Carthage. The character Dido is the ancient Phoenician queen who founded
Carthage but killed herself after the love of her life, Aeneas, left her to follow his destiny as the
founder of Rome. The author presents the conflict by speaking metaphorically as Dido, using her as an
outlet, which is evident throughout the poem as the author uses the first person perspective but with
modern contraptions. The author starts by speaking about how the rain is chronic at [her] window (1
2), painting the image that her sadness, which is typically presented by rain, is persistent. Continuing,
the author speaks about how the candles in Dido s room are [drowning] in their own wax. This implies
the candles have been in use for a prolonged amount of time, which would mean that Dido hasn t left
the room during that time. This personification of the candles represents how she is drowning in her
own tears and sadness such as the candles are drowning in their own wax.
The next sentence, Abandoned by light, even ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Here the author continues about how Dido feels awkward in her own home, a nomad in [her] own
house (16 17). This is a paradox, a self contradictory statement that is seemingly absurd. The author
states that she is a nomad, who, by definition, is someone with no fixed home. This contradicts itself
because Dido is a nomad in [her] own house, (16 17) someone with a fixed home is saying that they
are someone without a fixed home. Line eighteen shows that her heart [is] knocking, (18) and later on
it is knocking to be let out. Here perhaps, the author is trying to say that Dido isn t comfortable in her
own skin and mind. Literally, she is saying nomad in my own house, (16 17) as in the architectural
house, but metaphorically she is saying that she is not comfortable in her own

The Importance Of Public Surveillance
With the increase in public surveillance by governments and big coperations, there has grown a need
to combat it and its effects on society today. It s mainly a question of privacy to everyone, can we
really trust him, so what s Public surveillance and automated face recognition? Public Surveillance is
the monitoring of conduct, exercises, or other changing data to influence, oversee, coordinate or
protect individuals. This can incorporate the use of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) or capturing of
electronically transmitted data, for example, through phone calls. Besides that, it s no longer a dusk to
dawn activity but 24/7. Automated Face Recognition can be best described as the use of specialised
software to identify individuals in digital images or videos using sophisticated algorithms that are
linked to databases. This kind of software is able to compare several facial features of a person and
uniquely identify them amongst a million others accurately.
In 2013, the act of public surveillance and automated face recognition by world governments was
raised after Edward Snowden exposed the global surveillance documents. Revealing in view of
archives Snowden spilled to different media outlets set off an open deliberation about common
freedoms and the privilege to security in this Digital Age. So how is it carried out. As stated above
surveillance is mainly carried out by governments with the help of big coperations and security

Nuclear Waste Policy Analysis
In 1987, the U.S. Congress passed the Amendments to the Nuclear Waste Policy Act that designated
Yucca Mountain 90 miles northwest of Las Vegas as the top site to store nuclear waste from across the
country.
For the last 30 years, the project has faced a strong opposition from Nevada officials and many
residents of the state, while nuclear power interests, utility companies, and some Congress members
have been supportive of it. In 2002, Congress and President George W. Bush approved Yucca
Mountain as the first geologic repository for storage of spent fuel and high level waste, and the
licensing began in 2008. After the Obama administration at the urging of then U.S. Sen. Harry Reid, D

Pros And Cons Of Foreign Affairs
Washington and Monroe believed that the United States should not get involved in European affairs,
and in hindsight, all foreign affairs, such as ones in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. Many
Americans, including me, believe that we should not meddle in others affairs and keep to ourselves.
There are several strong political, and ethical arguments both sides can make. Personally, I do not
consider the other side to be wrong, there is truth to both ends of this debate, but then again, the same
can be said for all debates. As someone who supports staying neutral and keeping to ourselves. I shall
start with the pros of staying somewhat isolated from foreign affairs and problems. The first major
pro, is the lack of wars we are dragged into ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
But, one must think, how much is a foreigner s life compared to a fellow American s. The more
religious among the citizens believe that every life is equal, and they are not wrong from an ethical
standpoint. But many politicians, myself included, value American lives more than foreign ones,
although it is not ethically sound, I will always value a neighbor more than a stranger. Back again to
the Isis debate, if we did not intervene, all those people they were spiritually cleansing would have
been massacred, or at least more of them would have died. This also brings us back to the lives debate,
our intervention might lead to another ground invasion of the Middle East and lead to more of our
brave men and women being killed, all for some foreign men and women who refused to adopt Isis s
religion. It may not be ethically sound but I would sacrifice any number of strangers, than have to tell
an American mother or Father that their son or daughter died overseas and wouldn t be coming home.
That s only speaking of our current conflict as well, I m sure we saved many Korean, Vietnamese, and
Iraqi civilians, but at the cost of thousands of our own brave citizens. Sometimes the right decision is
not ethically pleasing, but which decision is right all depends on the man or woman making it. I
believe ethics should not even be synonymous with political decisions, sometimes we are blinded by
emotions and ethics, and swayed by them to make unwise choices and

Vacations
Cruises appeal to many travelers because they are considered all inclusive vacations. Pay one price

destinations. But once onboard, many cruisers find themselves shelling out hundreds of additional
dollars for shore excursions, alcoholic beverages, and gratuities. What happened to their supposedly
all inclusive vacation? Many land based resorts also refer to themselves as all inclusive, yet [the

Adventure is limited to basketball, shuffleboard or the all access ship pool. Cruise ships look boring
and a person would float along. The land base resorts are not bound by the imagination of the cruise
director. Patrons of resorts can plan (with the help of a concierge) the ultimate vacation based on their
individual preferences. You can hand pick your own adventure from island exploration, deep sea
fishing, catamaran sails, guided island tours, mountain biking, dune buggy off roading excursions,
dolphin encounters, scuba diving, horseback riding and more. The choices are endless and some are
included in the package. The not so adventurous can take relaxing strolls alone the beach, play
volleyball, paddle boat, surf or other less strenuous activities. As for night life, patrons can choose to
party on the resort, attend All White parties, talent shows, beach parties, bonfires or listen to live
bands. The more daring could party with the locals to experience rich, authentic Caribbean culture
first hand.
All inclusive, whether land resort or cruises, are the preferred way to vacation and provide a great
value for the cost. Depending on the client s budget and time constraints, cruises are wonderful
getaways but land resorts offer greater variety and excitement. The decision depends on rather a
person loves land or water. In conclusion, the abundance that an all inclusive trip has to offer will

Dissent In The Civil Rights Movement
On January 21, 2017, an estimated 500,000 Americans marched on the National Mall, continuing a
longstanding tradition of protest on this public space. On this particular day, protesters sought to send
a message to President Donald Trump regarding women s rights. Known as the Women s March, this
event is only one of the more recent examples of large scale protest and dissent on the National Mall.
Throughout American history, protest movements have often made their way to Washington, D.C., the
capital city and political center of the United States. Although the National Mall was not necessarily
designed in a way that fosters protest, it quickly became the foremost venue for American
demonstration. As AIDS activist Cleve Jones once stated, the ... Show more content on

Although the McMillan Plan left some room for interpretation, it also continued to promote some
national ideals and demonstrators took advantage of that state sponsored fiction of universality... [and]
made the Mall the nation s premier setting for political assembly and protest. More simply, protestors
used the glorified sense of union promoted on the Mall to push forward their political dissent. This
principle is particularly relevant in understanding the Civil Rights Movement s utilization of the
National Mall. In August 1963, Martin Luther King Jr. and other civil rights leaders planned a prayer
pilgrimage to the Lincoln Memorial, where King delivered his most famous speech on its steps. King
s choice to deliver his speech at this memorial was undeniably deliberate. Abolitionist President
Lincoln led the United States through the Civil War and gained a reputation as the man who ended
slavery. King s speech, delivered at the memorial that honored that man, outlined the principles of
racial equality focusing on many of the shortcomings in American society. King s choice of venue
suggested that although the Lincoln Memorial celebrated equality in principle, the United States had a
long way to go regarding this issue. This demonstration s use of a feature on the National Mall
demonstrated the hypocrisy of it, as the public space honored a doctrine that was not universally
practiced in everyday American life. This march was one of the first of its kind, but it was certainly
not the last. Throughout the latter half of the twentieth century, demonstrations have utilized features
of the National Mall to promote relevant political causes. Demonstrations against the Vietnam War
occurred frequently on the National Mall, many of which were less carefully

Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee Case Study
The Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee was founded in 1960, this organization was a civil

nonviolence. The SNCC was at the center of a movement that changed the nation, but as time went

The SNCC organization was first made up of African American college students but after the launch

time to complete tasks, and staying in communication with my instructor. The first step I should do in
order to adhere to my schedule is to create realistic goals. When setting realistic goals it is really

Compare And Contrast Vaca And Cardenas
Compare and Contrast Essay Death, starvation, illness, and hostile natives are some of the difficulties
explorers faced during the 15th century. Alvar Nunez Cabeza de Vaca and Garcia Lopez de Cardenas
were two Europeans who traveled great distances in hopes of discovering something new. Throughout
their journeys, both men wrote down the problems and discoveries they made. With the passages from
their journal one can compare and contrast their expeditions. In the upcoming paragraphs one will
learn the similarities and differences between the two men during their expeditions. Vaca and
Cardenas were both Europeans who held positions of high status in the Spanish army. During their
expeditions, both men interacted with Native American groups that were able to assist them along
their travels. Even with the help of the Indians, their journeys were still difficult and long. The reason
for this is because of geographical and weather conditions. Furthermore, the scarcity of food and water
also affected the length of the journey and those who were traveling. Yet, with all these difficulties,

Fungus Essay
Fungus
The Latin word for mushroom is fungus (plural, fungi). The word fungus has come to stand for a
whole group of simple plants that contain no chlorophyll and lack such complex plant structures as
roots, stems, leaves, and flowers. Included among the fungi, along with mushrooms, are molds,
mildews, rusts, smuts, truffles, and yeasts. Toadstool is another name for mushroom. Some people use
the name toadstool only when referring to poisonous mushrooms, but botanists make no such
distinction. A general scientific term for fungi is mycota, from the Greek word for mushroom, mykes,
and the study of these organisms is called mycology.

Only a small portion of those that live on land is normally visible. Most of the fungus, a complex
network of hyphae, grows underground, near the surface. The visible parts of fungi vary greatly in
size. Some are so tiny that they cannot be seen without the aid of magnification. Others are quite large.
Some mushrooms reach diameters of 8 to 10 inches (20 to 25 centimeters) and heights of 10 to 12
inches (25 to 30 centimeters). Bracket fungi that are 15 inches (38 centimeters) in diameter are fairly
common; and mushrooms called puffballs have been known to grow to 60 inches (152 centimeters) in
diameter.
Although fungi are distributed worldwide, the distribution of a specific species is limited by
temperature and moisture conditions of an area coupled with the available food supply. The best
temperature for most fungi to thrive is from 68° to 86°F (20° to 30°C). Some types of fungi, however,
do perfectly well at tem peratures as high as 120°F (48°C), while a fairly large number of them do
well at freezing temperatures, 32°F (0°C) or below.
The reproduction of fungi can be either sexual or asexual. Sexual reproduction, as with other
organisms, involves the fusion of two nuclei when two sex cells unite. This joining produces spores
that can grow into new organisms. Asexual reproduction is by fragmentation, cell division, or
budding. The simplest process is direct fragmentation, or breaking up, of the fungus body, the thallus.

helped to create faster and better computers . Over the course of the next few years, inventors all over
the world began to search more into the study of computers, and how to improve upon them. Those
next ten years say the introduction of the transistor, which would become a vital part of the inner
workings of the computer, the ENIAC 1 computer, as well as many other types of systems. The
ENIAC 1 is perhaps one of the most interesting, as it required 20,000 vacuum tubes to operate. It was
a massive machine, and started the revolution to build smaller and faster computers . Technology
began with the earliest hominids that used stone tools , which they may have used to start fires, hunt,
cut food, bury their dead , etc. . The early technological development in the United States was
facilitated by a coming together of geographical , social , and economic factors. The relative lack of
workers always kept United States wages nearly higher than corresponding British and European
workers and provided an incentive to program some tasks . The United States population had some
semi unique advantages in that they were former British subjects, had high English literacy skills, for
that period (over 80% in New England) , had strong British institutions , with some minor American

Then, call on a camper to act that power out sound effects are encouraged!
After they ve finished, circle clockwise, having the next person copy their movement until everyone in

Then, start over by giving the next camper in the circle a superpower to act out, again letting the
action circle the group. Continue until each camper has had the chance to invent a motion for a
superpower. If a power is repeated, it needs its own unique movement.
SUPERHERO SELF PORTRAITS (independent)
Break into small groups, giving each group a set of colored pencils to share and each camper a copy of
the Superhero Self Portrait handout. Before they start drawing, get the creative juices flowing by
asking these questions:
Can you think of any superheroes from comic books, tv, movies or video games?
What makes them heroes? Do they have special powers? Do they wear certain types of clothes?
How are superheroes different than villains? (Villains are usually mean, want to hurt other people,
take over the world and only care about themselves.)
If you were a superhero, what would your costume look like?
Now, let campers draw a picture of themselves as superheroes. As they work, ask questions about their
drawings.

Personal Narrative Losing Weight Essay
Personal Narrative Losing Weight
I know I should lose weight. It requires a lot of perseverance that I one time had and need to find
again. Many of the reasons I should lose weight are very clear to me. I have read many articles and
have heard what my doctor has told me. I lost over forty pounds about three years ago, unfortunately, I
gained it back two fold when I was pregnant with my daughter. I still have not been able to get rid of
this weight since she was born. Sometimes it causes me to get tired just from going to the grocery
store. I also found out in September of last year that I have hypertension (high blood pressure) which
effected my vision drastically by the following November. Other problems are social such as the ...

Currently I must take a pill every day in order to keep my hypertension under control. Since I am not
fond of taking medication, I would not miss taking it if losing weight would get rid of my
hypertension all together. If I forget to take my pill first thing in the morning, I begin to get headaches
and start feeling a little edgy by noon. My doctor is in the opinion that my weight is the main cause of
my high blood pressure. I also began to have problems with my eyesight almost immediately after I
learned I had hypertension. My vision began to get blurry and I felt pressure behind my eyes that
scared me greatly. I had to get a much stronger prescription for my contact lenses and now have to
return to my eye doctor to have my eyes tested every six months. My optometrist tells me that it is
possible to reverse the effects the hypertension has had on my eyes. These health issues have become
serious problems for me and if I lost weight, there is a strong possibility of becoming free of these
problems. Losing weight would also reduce the risk of other health problems. My doctor has
explained several of these risks to me. I do not remember all of them, but the ones that stick out in my
mind the most are very common among the world today. He mentioned several forms of cancer to me.

The Importance Of Online Education
The year 2014 I majored in Information Technology and received my first Online Education class.
Privacy, space, and concentration are what Online Education provided. Online Education has granted
me a greater learning experience than being taught by the few lazy teachers in the past. Teachers
online provide links, videos, and handout guides for every assignment, anything needed to complete
and learn the materials. Not only has Online Education granted me a higher learning experience, but
also saved me an immense amount of money on gas and having the need to drive daily to class and
paying for parking. Many students struggle financially, and online education has saved me a fortune. It
is important to know that Online Education has affected us students in a positive way where we have
the alternative to meet an Education without the need to drive daily to campus. Each year institutions
of higher education has offered more courses that are fully online as well as more that are blended or
hybrid in design format (Hoskins and van Hooff, 2005). Colleges and universities are placing greater
emphasis on increasing online education offerings (Allen and Seaman, 2005).
Online Education is important to have in society, considering that technology revolves around us as a
nation and is going under drastic changes every year and becoming more advanced and in which
anyone can benefit in many ways. As of 2014, at least 25% of the student population at American

Role Of Cancer As A Genetic Disease

Prahelika Reddy
ROLE OF ONCOGENES IN CANCER RESEARCH
1. Introduction
The idea that development of cancer as a genetic disease was first postulated by Cavenee et al and
developed by Fearon and Vogelstein. According to COSMIC (Catalogue of Somatic Mutations in
Cancer) database, the current list of known somatic genetic mutations leading to cancer is 522. Genes
which undergo mutations leading to cancer can be classified into two groups Proto Oncogenes and
Tumor Suppressor genes. Proto Oncogenes are the genes that are responsible for cell proliferation i.e.
they code for the proteins that are responsible for growth of cell. Tumor Suppressor genes have an
opposite effect and code for proteins that regulate cell cycle and ... Show more content on

The first oncogene targeted anti cancerous agents are Gleevec and Herceptin. Gleevec is a small
molecule designed to target tyrosine kinase (enzymes that activate many proteins by signal
transduction cascades) encoded by bcr/abl oncogene. Herceptin is a monoclonal antibody which
interferes with the receptors responsible for activation of proteins which signal cell proliferation.
It was earlier thought that up to seven independent genetic hits are necessary for the development and
progression of a malignant cancer[Fearon ER and Vogelstein B, 1990], but recent studies suggest that
abnormal expression of only three genes might be sufficient for normal cells to convert to cancer cells
[Hahn WC et al 1999]. In one such case (H ras, hTERT, SV40LT) the cancer causing genes were all
dominant and transformed proto oncogenes. Also, in this case inactivation of a single oncogene (e.g.,
mutant ras) can result in tumor regression which implies that in some cases (e.g., mutant ras)
continuous expression of oncoproteins is functionally important, non redundant and indispensable for
sustained tumor growth despite a great number of genetic and epigenetic complexities associated with
tumor formation. This phenomena is called Oncogene Addiction and it provides a rationale for
targeted therapy. Thus, Oncogenes have attracted a great deal of interest as molecular targets for
cancer therapy in recent years.

To begin on, Erwin Rommel stood out and rejected the Nazi generals that he worked with in many

was a full supporter of the Nazi religion. Erwin rommel was considered to be a rejector of the Nazi

Splash! The loud noise of the majestic Orca. The beautiful creature known for swimming in the blue

However do people think it is right to lock them up in this way? Over the years these poor creatures
have been stuck in a routine they simply do not like. Animals should be free not locked up and this is
disgusting, evil and it is cruel. All though some people think it can bring money into the aquarium
industry or aquariums can educate children but I think it is extremely evil. One reason why I think
Orcas should not be in captivity is that their attitude towards humans dramatically changes when kept

Bead Game Essay
Bead Game by Ishu Patel was created in 1977. Bead Game is a stop motion animated film that was
created by arranging single beads into shapes lines, mammals, and mythological creatures. Further
into the film the creatures absorb and devour one another, creating other figures and creatures from the
remaining beads. These beads end up evolving into scenes of modern human warfare. In the beginning
of the film Patel begins with on simple white bead and continues to add other beads and color making
his arrangements of the beads into animated figures. While the beads dance there is sound of
percussion that compliments the movement of the beads due to the synchronization of both sound and
movement in the animation. The film reminded me of the creation of life; ... Show more content on

Patel animates the theory of human evolution by showing a monkey transforming into a caveman and
then into present day human. The film is successful in synchronizing the characters towards the end of
the film. Patel shows synchronization through his animating when there are two men throwing a spear
at one another and the beads are arranged in a way that the two mirror each other. Another historical
event that is portrayed is ancient warfare, dating all the way back to what seems to be around 2700
BCE. I began to notice a pattern or a timeline up to this point, starting with the creation of life then
going through important moments of the history of human creation. I think the creator of this film is
trying to say that a design can start off as something so small and simple, and then fueled by creativity
the design turns into an art form. This interpretation that I have made isn t obvious; it is just something
that I took away from the animation after watching it. Something that is noticeable throughout this
animation is how frequent the use of red is. Patel used red for his creatures that showed characteristics

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Dispute Resolution
CHAPTER II
ARBITRATION OF INTERNATIONAL COMMERCIAL DISPUTES
2.1 Introduction
?The realisation, in the words of Lord Simon of Glaisdale, that litigation, while certainly preferable to
personal violence is not in itself an intrinsically desirable activity, has encouraged the search for other
methods of dispute resolution each of which has attracted it adherents and enthusiasts. One of the
oldest and best established of these systems is that of arbitration.?[footnoteRef:1] [1: Galway City
Council v Samuel Kingston Construction Ltd [2010] 3 IR 95. O?Donnell J]
There has been a wide range of debate to create a more expeditious dispute resolution method for
settling commercial disputes amongst businessmen and lawyers who are involved with international
trade across national borders.[footnoteRef:2] Until recently, commercial courts were congested due to
the number of commercial disputes pending before them. There was a need for other dispute
resolution methods to bridge this gap, expedite matters and to promote business transactions.
Arbitration, mediation and conciliation were adopted by states to supplement the normal court system.
However, we are yet to reach that point where one can boldly say that, the alternative dispute
resolution methods to the courts are expedient. [2: Herbert Buston, ?Arbitration of International

Gay Adoption Research Paper
Gay Adoption: To Condemn or Condone
Last year, 29,471 children turned 18 and left the foster care system without an adoptive family (
Adoption 1). Unfortunately for those young adults, knowing the comfort of a stable family was not
part of their childhood. Though there is a high demand for children to be adopted, the reality is many
are not being adopted. Furthermore, even though there are children that need a good home, state
governments are purposely making laws that prohibit certain groups of people from adopting children.
States like Florida and Mississippi are both culprits. Two groups that are especially being targeted by
unfair laws are gays and lesbians. These unfair laws are clear discrimination, and they should be put to

Because of this, the children are the ones who really suffer. If states limit the groups of people allowed
to adopt children, then more and more children will not have a family. According to the text, There are
423,773 children in the U.S. foster care system; 114,556 of these children are available for adoption.
Their birth parent s legal rights have been permanently terminated and children are left without a
family ( Adoption 1). There are at least 114,556 children in the U.S. foster care system waiting and
waiting and waiting for a family to take them home. By precluding gays and lesbians from adopting
them, the children will be without a home for their whole adolescent life. In addition, there are gay
and lesbian couples where one of the partners has a child from a previous marriage or relationship.
Even in this case, the non biological parent cannot adopt the child, and this leads to further suffering
for the children. In the article, Final Holdout on Same Sex Adoption , the author, Tamar Lewin, states,
Hannah Marie Phillips makes the same point, in her 8 year old fashion: We want the other name on the

Satire In Jonathan Swift
Satire is a literary way to express the imperfections of the society. It is a technique used by writers
who tries to highlight the thought of an individual or a society about corruption, foolishness which is
usually attacked through irony, derision, or wit. Satire and irony are in close connection with each
other. The irony is a form of communication which is usually replacing the meaning spoken by other.
Therefore, the irony makes the difference between what is said and what is meant. Irony is a literary
technique synonymous with satire, in which there is an inconsistency between the literal and implied

Lab Report On Boiling Points
Laura Breuning Lab Report 4
Abstract This experiment evaluated and reviewed the concepts used to identify unknown molecules.
The experiment includes a boiling point trial, a melting point trial and an infrared spectrometry trial.
All of the following were proved as sufficient methods to identify the unknown molecules.
Introduction
In this lab, we will be using boiling points, melting points and infrared spectrometry to identify
unknown compounds. Boiling points are affect by three key factors the first being intermolecular
forces. Inter molecular affect boiling point based on bond strength. This is directly related to what
functional group is attached. Ionic bonding is said to cause a higher boiling point then the other
intermolecular forces, due to a strong attraction in the bond. The two other factors that affect boiling
point would be the number of carbons and amount of branching of carbon chain (3 Trends that affect
boiling points). Infrared spectrometry is irradiating a sample with infrared frequencies, which then
shows what frequencies were absorbed. The absorbance numbers can then be directly tied to certain
functional groups (Klein, 2007). All of these concepts will be used and evaluated during this lab.

and opportunity and were determined to achieve greater things in life. In their pursuit, these dreamers
were on the road to success and triumph in what they wanted most out of their lives. Many Americans

join the team. I asked if I will be able to run in the olympics. They said if I train good I will be able to

So the olympics officials decided to make a special race called legend vs. rookie. Usain and I got to
practice and train for 2 and half weeks. Usain asked the official if it can be best out of 5. They said
that s fine but you guys have to run two races a day. On the first race I lost by 2 seconds because of
my bad start. The next race I won. I finished in 9.57 seconds and Usain finished in 9.59 seconds. On
the third race I won and I finished in 9.53 seconds making a new world record and Usain finished in
9.54 making a new career record for him. On the fourth race I came short by 4 seconds and because of
that Usain took advantage and beat my world record by finishing 9.52 seconds. On the day of the final
race I talked to Justin Gatlin. He taught me a trick to have a better start. I went on to the track a huge
crowd in the stands to watch this epic race. I got set, they shot the start gun and I ran. I got a good start
and tiny bit behind of Usain. Once I got to straight away I turned on the jets. Usain finished the in 9.51
and I finished in 9.50. The spectators had to photo finish the race. I beat the world record and
everyone was shocked. At the end everyone congratulated me and I won gold medal for USA Track

AP HISTORY-Jacksonian Democracy Essay
DBQ: Jacksonian Democracy
Jacksonian democracy was created during the antebellum America. The Jackson democrats made an
attempt to grant power to the lower classes while decreasing the influence of the rich and potent. The
Jacksonian democrats viewed themselves as saviors of the common people and ruled by the means of
a powerful executive branch who attempted to destroy aristocracy in America. In reality, they were
typically very wealthy, they disregarded the capability of the federal government, and they desired
equality only for the white man. The Jacksonian s view of themselves was pompous because of their
political views, their animosity towards minorities, and their economic policies.
Although viewed as defenders of all ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As multiple advancements resulted in a huge increase in population the old economy was replaced by
cash crop agriculture and capitalist manufacturing. A split between the industrializing, urban North,
agrarian, rural South, and the expanding West was forming. The Jacksonians passed the Tariff of 1828,
helping western agriculture, and northern manufacturing but was detrimental to the South. Also,
Jackson vetoed the US bank s recharter in 1832. As Andrew Jackson s veto message (Doc B) explains,
he did this because he believed the US bank gave too much power to the wealthy few. Although, this
seemed to be a step to increase equality, his replacement state pet banks only led to the destabilization
of the national currency, and favoritism towards Jacksonian policies. This policy of Jackson was done
with good intentions, but like many of Jacksonian economic policies it ended up doing more harm
than good.
Many of Jacksonian policies did help America. When a British author came to American he viewed
that in America every man is free and independent (Doc D). Andrew Jackson himself was considered
by most to be a common man. Daniel Webster even feared that the Jacksonian s were attempting to
turn the poor against the rich (Doc C). Also, the Jacksonian democrats were strict constructionists and
made attempts to preserve the constitution. This led to events such as

Dead Sea Scrolls Important To The World Today
The finding of the Dead Sea Scrolls is very important to the world today because they show tangible
evidence that God s Word is real and everlasting. They have had the greatest Biblical impact on holy
and historic events throughout history. The Dead Sea Scrolls have even been called the greatest
manuscript discovery of modern times. For these reasons, the Dead Sea Scrolls are important to us
today.
The Dead Sea Scrolls are a collection of different texts that were first discovered by a young boy
named Juma and his cousins, who were Bedouin goat herders, in 1947 in a cave at the Khirbet
Qumran in the West Bank near the Dead Sea, from which they derive their name. Then, in 1949
archaeologists searched and discovered more scrolls in ten other caves in the area. The texts are of
great historical and religious value. They include the third oldest known surviving texts of works
included in the Bible and they date back 1,000 years from the oldest known texts at that time and are
when Jesus lived. They also contain previously unknown stories about biblical figures. The texts are
written in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. Probably the Dead Sea Scrolls have had the greatest Biblical
impact. They have provided Old Testament manuscripts. The Dead Sea Scrolls have demonstrated that
the Old Testament was accurately transmitted during this interval. In addition, they provide a wealth
of information on the times leading up to, and during, the life of Christ (Wood). Therefore, the Dead
Sea Scrolls are important to us today. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Ethics – Information Systems Assignment 2
Ethics Information Systems Assignment 2 11981634
Executive Summary
In the 21st century, information systems are being heavily integrating into our everyday routiunes.
Such systems present numerous morally questionable situations for humans (Mumford 2003).
aforementioned notion is explored within the case study, allowing us to analyse potential problems
that could arise via exploration of Masons 1986 PAPA Framework which includes Privacy,
accessibility, property and accuracy.
Privacy
The power that current and future information systems afford us with to gather information about
people, their preferences, and their activities by way of surveillance, communication, storage and
retrieval is increasing (Mason, 1986). Thus, laws ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Jenny has divulged confidential information that her business has tried to keep secret. Such
information included business plans and technical information that could have a significant
commercial value. It is evident that her business was trying to protect their asset as they classified the
information on their ERP system as secret and confidential information .
Jenny could run into law problems as it is a common law duty to not take unfair advantage of
confidential information if received from someone else unless the person who gave it provides consent
(Is4Profit). However, as Jenny has obtained the information in an illicit manner, she has little to no
right to disclose the private information.
Furthermore, Jenny s hacking has revealed an obvious security loophole within her company that
could be used to violate numerous privacy policies and steal personal data that could be used for
illegal or unethical purposes.
Accuracy
Even if data collection is ethical, there are still questions raised regarding the accuracy of the data. In
information systems, we depend intemperately upon the accuracy of such information as inaccurate
information can present many problems for a business (Altschuller 2004).
There is no way of determining that the data Jenny has provided to the competitor business is
accurate. If the competitor decided to use the information in their systems for financial decisions,
inaccuracies could have

How Did Roger Chillingworth Committed The Greatest Sin
Roger Chillingworth committed the greatest sin. He seems to be the character that has the highest
amount of flaws and also the highest amount of sins. He sent his beautiful wife away to Boston for
about two years, so he could live with Native Americans, and he became upset when he found her
with a child that was not his own. Chillingworth is also a man of science, which means more than
likely, he is not a man of God. In fact, he loses his soul to Satan and basically becomes one of his
demons. If sins could be greater or lesser than one another, his terrible sin of revenge would be the
greatest one of all. After Hester Prynne stands on the scaffold for her sin, Chillingworth goes to her
cell for two reasons. The public reason is to take care of her and little Pearl; the private reason is to
figure out who the father of her baby is. Hester vows not to tell who the father is and not to tell who
Chillingworth really is. From that moment on, Roger Chillingworth devotes the rest of his life to
finding out who the father is and to seek revenge on that man. He spends several years living with
Reverend Arthur Dimmesdale and figures out that he is the father of Pearl. In fact, everyone in the
town notices that his expressions and appearance become more evil: At ... Show more content on

figuratively becomes a leech. He attaches himself to Dimmesdale to seek his revenge and plays
terrible mind games with him. The moment Chillingworth sees the scarlet letter on Dimmesdale s
chest, he loses his soul to the devil and embodies a demon perfectly: Had a man seen old Roger
Chillingworth, at the moment of his ecstasy, he would have had no need to ask how Satan comports
himself when a precious human soul is lost to heaven, and won into his kingdom. The evidence he had
been searching for for so long had finally come

The Prince And The Art Of War
1. General: During the early European renaissance, military and political influencer Niccolo
Machiavelli published several influential works, including The Prince and The Art of War. His work s
greatest impacts were expanding on the brutal nature of realpolitik and realism to maintain peace
within a highly competitive system and promoting the war manpower shift from mercenaries to citizen
militias with buy in. Many nation states use his political and military ideals as a basis for their own
statecraft and military organizations.
2. Author s Identity: Unlike many other previous writers on military thought, Machiavelli was not
from pure or noble blood, although he was of enough social status to become literate. Instead,
Machiavelli used his intellect to climb the social ladder the highest legs of Italian social order. From
1501 to 1521, Machiavelli worked as an influencer, author, and military leader. Rather than conceal
his intellect to avoid prosecution or death, such as within a monastery, Machiavelli balanced a thin
line between critical thought and appeasement in his allegorical experiences with Caesar Borgia.
3. Author s Purpose and Intended Audience: While Machiavelli s writings can appeal to a wide
international audience, Italian political and military leaders were his intended audience, especially
those in turbulent city states. Although many of his concepts touch on lower level politics and tactical
level operations, a majority of ideas are better suited for

The Devastation Of The Hurricane Katrina
In the history of the United States of America, Hurricane Katrina was known as one of the worst
hurricanes in the world. The hurricane was a combination of tropical waters and gushing winds. It was
the vicious hurricane that caused severe damage to the citizens of the United States of America. The
amazing city known for its southern style, Cajun cuisines, jazz music and its celebration of Mardi
Gras will never be the same. New Orleans, Louisiana was changed forever in August 2005 when this
category five hurricane left the city devastated. The catastrophic storm tore through the city of New
Orleans and surrounding areas destroying everything in its path and killing hundreds of people.
For millions of people living near the Gulf and Atlantic coasts of the United States, a team of weather
experts in Miami were helping make a difference between another hurricane disaster and safe
evacuations in the wake of the oncoming storm. These experts are trained to interpret data from
satellites, weather stations and specialized computer equipment to give the public advance warning of
hurricanes barreling toward any shores (Treaster, 2007, p. 26).
In August 2005, the national weather and the national hurricane center issued reports during the
upcoming week on the strength and fast pace as it approached the Gulf of Mexico (Treaster, 2007, p.
44). On August 23, 2005, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) in Florida issued the first advisory
about the tropical storm (Brinkley, 2006, p. 4). At

  • 2. Why Did England Grow During The Industrial Revolution By late 1700s and early 1800s, United Kingdom was on the brink of Industrial Revolution. Industrial evolution was basically a period of time where a country had mass productions and new inventions in technology. Setting aside the time when it started, why did the Industrial Revolution start in Great Britain? What advantages did England have to initiate the Industrial Revolution? The Industrial Revolution initiated in United Kingdom because of its surfeit amounts of natural resources, stable government and economy and developments in new machinery. Britain was the first country to industrialize as a result of its abundance in natural resources. Britain got its surfeit amount of resources from its colonies. Around early 1800s, Britain was the sovereign nation in the world, conquering relatively half of the world. This gave Britain an enormous economic advantage. During this time, inventors have been getting ideas to make a machine that is much more powerful, efficient yet safe than the bare hand labor. During this time, inventor James Watt, came up with an idea that uses water and coal to generate the steam that powers the engine. This idea turned out to be successful and revolutionized the way power is used. By the end of the century, nearly one fifth of Britain s mechanical production was powered by steam. (ABC CLIO, 2014) . The Steam engine mainly benefitted the Textile Industry, producing mass amount of fabric and cotton. As the country advanced in the Steam engine utility, the Steam driven locomotives emerged. On the other hand, there are still a lot of problems need to be solved if we want to popularize the use of electro car in Zhuhai, such as the limitation of driving distance and long charging time. These kinds of disadvantages will affect the citizen s willingness of choosing electro car. So we want to find out the factors that influence Zhuhai citizen willingness of using electro car. 2.2 Literature Review 2.1.1 Electric Car Electric car is a kind of environmentally ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... As we know that, electric car is an automobile that using electrical energy propelled by one or more electric device such as battery. This kind of power will cause the problem of limiting of driving distance, and the car should charge for the battery again in order to drive for a longer distance. Many electric designs have limited range, due to the low energy density of batteries compared to the fuel vehicles. Electric cars mostly have less limited distance for one charge, but fossil fueled cars can travel for long travel. But they can need time to recharge. On the other hand, electric car can be charged at home at night, while fossil fueled cars cannot. In America, 71 percent of car drivers drive less than 40 miles a day, and just for a quick topping up. Was World War 1 Inevitable With over thirty eight million casualties and over seventeen million recorded deaths, the First World War was one of the deadliest conflicts that the worldwide population has ever seen. World War I has been particularly exclusive in history in comparison to previous battles, by reason of the first major involvement of the world s major powers in warfare in addition to the war s foundation of causes that eventually led to the unavoidable commencement of bloodshed. The First World War was inevitable for many reasons that traced back to the beginning of the twentieth century, such as the formulation of European alliances, the inauguration of the armaments race and martial strength in European nations, and the rise of the encouragement of nationalism ... These nationalistic feelings allowed European citizens to grow extreme morale in their nation, in addition their country s individual strength in military and government. With the birth of these sentiments, however; neighbouring countries that made up the continent were denounced and portrayed to the public as untrustworthy, uncivilized, and threatening in regards to their country. Due to this, many rivalries and tensions between borders occurred, with the inclusion of the public in addition to their powerful leaders. Nationalistic pride was launched in European countries for multiple different reasons, depending on the state of the country at the time. For example, Great Britain s views regarding nationalism was apparent in relation to the country s past of maintaining strength and prosperity through peaceful relations, while nationalism was clear in Germany as a symbol of future imperialism and overwhelming continental strength. Either way, strong feelings of nationalism allowed Europe s borders to become even more divided than usual, as a result of providing an outlet for national superiority and the encouraging antagonization of surroundings nations. In short, nationalism allowed the First World War to become even more unavoidable, since tensions rose to the brink of both fear and confidence of the major powers: a perfect setup ... • 5. Dido s Farewell The poem, Dido s Farewell by Lina Pastan, dramatizes the conflict between Dido and her depression after Aeneas leaves Carthage. The character Dido is the ancient Phoenician queen who founded Carthage but killed herself after the love of her life, Aeneas, left her to follow his destiny as the founder of Rome. The author presents the conflict by speaking metaphorically as Dido, using her as an outlet, which is evident throughout the poem as the author uses the first person perspective but with modern contraptions. The author starts by speaking about how the rain is chronic at [her] window (1 2), painting the image that her sadness, which is typically presented by rain, is persistent. Continuing, the author speaks about how the candles in Dido s room are [drowning] in their own wax. This implies the candles have been in use for a prolonged amount of time, which would mean that Dido hasn t left the room during that time. This personification of the candles represents how she is drowning in her own tears and sadness such as the candles are drowning in their own wax. The next sentence, Abandoned by light, even ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Here the author continues about how Dido feels awkward in her own home, a nomad in [her] own house (16 17). This is a paradox, a self contradictory statement that is seemingly absurd. The author states that she is a nomad, who, by definition, is someone with no fixed home. This contradicts itself because Dido is a nomad in [her] own house, (16 17) someone with a fixed home is saying that they are someone without a fixed home. Line eighteen shows that her heart [is] knocking, (18) and later on it is knocking to be let out. Here perhaps, the author is trying to say that Dido isn t comfortable in her own skin and mind. Literally, she is saying nomad in my own house, (16 17) as in the architectural house, but metaphorically she is saying that she is not comfortable in her own ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Many Americans, including me, believe that we should not meddle in others affairs and keep to ourselves. There are several strong political, and ethical arguments both sides can make. Personally, I do not consider the other side to be wrong, there is truth to both ends of this debate, but then again, the same can be said for all debates. The more religious among the citizens believe that every life is equal, and they are not wrong from an ethical standpoint. But many politicians, myself included, value American lives more than foreign ones, although it is not ethically sound, I will always value a neighbor more than a stranger. Back again to the Isis debate, if we did not intervene, all those people they were spiritually cleansing would have been massacred, or at least more of them would have died. This also brings us back to the lives debate, our intervention might lead to another ground invasion of the Middle East and lead to more of our brave men and women being killed, all for some foreign men and women who refused to adopt Isis s religion. It may not be ethically sound but I would sacrifice any number of strangers, than have to tell an American mother or Father that their son or daughter died overseas and wouldn t be coming home. That s only speaking of our current conflict as well, I m sure we saved many Korean, Vietnamese, and Iraqi civilians, but at the cost of thousands of our own brave citizens. On this particular day, protesters sought to send a message to President Donald Trump regarding women s rights. Known as the Women s March, this event is only one of the more recent examples of large scale protest and dissent on the National Mall. Throughout American history, protest movements have often made their way to Washington, D.C., the capital city and political center of the United States. [and] made the Mall the nation s premier setting for political assembly and protest. More simply, protestors used the glorified sense of union promoted on the Mall to push forward their political dissent. This principle is particularly relevant in understanding the Civil Rights Movement s utilization of the National Mall. In August 1963, Martin Luther King Jr. and other civil rights leaders planned a prayer pilgrimage to the Lincoln Memorial, where King delivered his most famous speech on its steps. King s choice to deliver his speech at this memorial was undeniably deliberate. Abolitionist President Lincoln led the United States through the Civil War and gained a reputation as the man who ended slavery. King s speech, delivered at the memorial that honored that man, outlined the principles of racial equality focusing on many of the shortcomings in American society. King s choice of venue suggested that although the Lincoln Memorial celebrated equality in principle, the United States had a long way to go regarding this issue. This demonstration s use of a feature on the National Mall demonstrated the hypocrisy of it, as the public space honored a doctrine that was not universally practiced in everyday American life. This march was one of the first of its kind, but it was certainly not the last. Throughout the latter half of the twentieth century, demonstrations have utilized features of the National Mall to promote relevant political causes. • 20. Fungus Essay Fungus The Latin word for mushroom is fungus (plural, fungi). The word fungus has come to stand for a whole group of simple plants that contain no chlorophyll and lack such complex plant structures as roots, stems, leaves, and flowers. Included among the fungi, along with mushrooms, are molds, mildews, rusts, smuts, truffles, and yeasts. Toadstool is another name for mushroom. Some people use the name toadstool only when referring to poisonous mushrooms, but botanists make no such distinction. Some mushrooms reach diameters of 8 to 10 inches (20 to 25 centimeters) and heights of 10 to 12 inches (25 to 30 centimeters). Bracket fungi that are 15 inches (38 centimeters) in diameter are fairly common; and mushrooms called puffballs have been known to grow to 60 inches (152 centimeters) in diameter. Although fungi are distributed worldwide, the distribution of a specific species is limited by temperature and moisture conditions of an area coupled with the available food supply. The best temperature for most fungi to thrive is from 68° to 86°F (20° to 30°C). Some types of fungi, however, do perfectly well at tem peratures as high as 120°F (48°C), while a fairly large number of them do well at freezing temperatures, 32°F (0°C) or below. The reproduction of fungi can be either sexual or asexual. Sexual reproduction, as with other organisms, involves the fusion of two nuclei when two sex cells unite. Genes which undergo mutations leading to cancer can be classified into two groups Proto Oncogenes and Tumor Suppressor genes. The first oncogene targeted anti cancerous agents are Gleevec and Herceptin. Gleevec is a small molecule designed to target tyrosine kinase (enzymes that activate many proteins by signal transduction cascades) encoded by bcr/abl oncogene. Herceptin is a monoclonal antibody which interferes with the receptors responsible for activation of proteins which signal cell proliferation. It was earlier thought that up to seven independent genetic hits are necessary for the development and progression of a malignant cancer[Fearon ER and Vogelstein B, 1990], but recent studies suggest that abnormal expression of only three genes might be sufficient for normal cells to convert to cancer cells [Hahn WC et al 1999]. In one such case (H ras, hTERT, SV40LT) the cancer causing genes were all dominant and transformed proto oncogenes. Also, in this case inactivation of a single oncogene (e.g., mutant ras) can result in tumor regression which implies that in some cases (e.g., mutant ras) continuous expression of oncoproteins is functionally important, non redundant and indispensable for sustained tumor growth despite a great number of genetic and epigenetic complexities associated with tumor formation. This phenomena is called Oncogene Addiction and it provides a rationale for targeted therapy. Thus, Oncogenes have attracted a great deal of interest as molecular targets for cancer therapy in recent years. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The third section of this book is about the voyage to Laputa, where he meets a group of people who are completely away from the reality. He observes that how these people with higher intellectual are behaving with their servants. Swift also explores that some of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 40. Lab Report On Boiling Points Laura Breuning Lab Report 4 Abstract This experiment evaluated and reviewed the concepts used to identify unknown molecules. The experiment includes a boiling point trial, a melting point trial and an infrared spectrometry trial. All of the following were proved as sufficient methods to identify the unknown molecules. Introduction In this lab, we will be using boiling points, melting points and infrared spectrometry to identify unknown compounds. Boiling points are affect by three key factors the first being intermolecular forces. Inter molecular affect boiling point based on bond strength. This is directly related to what functional group is attached. Ionic bonding is said to cause a higher boiling point then the other intermolecular forces, due to a strong attraction in the bond. The two other factors that affect boiling point would be the number of carbons and amount of branching of carbon chain (3 Trends that affect boiling points). Infrared spectrometry is irradiating a sample with infrared frequencies, which then shows what frequencies were absorbed. The absorbance numbers can then be directly tied to certain functional groups (Klein, 2007). All of these concepts will be used and evaluated during this lab. Methods Part 1: Melting point First collect a melting point apparatus, a capillary test tube. Collect a small amount of the #666 unknown in the capillary test tube approximately enough to cover 2 cm of the capillary test tube. Then place the capillary test ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Although, this seemed to be a step to increase equality, his replacement state pet banks only led to the destabilization of the national currency, and favoritism towards Jacksonian policies. This policy of Jackson was done with good intentions, but like many of Jacksonian economic policies it ended up doing more harm than good. Many of Jacksonian policies did help America. Many nation states use his political and military ideals as a basis for their own statecraft and military organizations. 2. Author s Identity: Unlike many other previous writers on military thought, Machiavelli was not from pure or noble blood, although he was of enough social status to become literate. Instead, Machiavelli used his intellect to climb the social ladder the highest legs of Italian social order. From 1501 to 1521, Machiavelli worked as an influencer, author, and military leader. Rather than conceal his intellect to avoid prosecution or death, such as within a monastery, Machiavelli balanced a thin line between critical thought and appeasement in his allegorical experiences with Caesar Borgia. 3.
