This project presentation summarizes a home automation system called HomeNet that allows control of household appliances and security systems over the internet, PC, or mobile device. The system uses a central microcontroller connected to devices via Zigbee, WiFi, and Bluetooth. It includes a GUI interface on PC accessed via USB, LAN, or WLAN. The system also has a web-based and mobile interface for remote control. All programming is done in C, PHP, Java, and MATLAB to allow automated control and feedback of devices from anywhere.
