This document outlines an intervention program for 45 students in Form 5 who received a grade of G in the 2014 mid-year English language exam. The program focused on improving students' skills in guided writing, continuous writing, literature comprehension, and summarization over 4 weeks. Students received drills and practice in essay formats, story elements, character and theme analysis of set texts, and identifying main ideas. Tests were given each week to assess problematic topics. The goal was to help students improve their exam scores to between 10-20 marks for guided writing and 12 marks for continuous writing.
