Problems and solutions
1. Problems and Solutions
Nothavingenoughfootage:Afterfilming,we editthe musicvideo therefore I need to make
sure that there is enough footage to edit together and get the majority of the film
completed. To do this I will film more footage than what is actually needed so there is
always some to fall back on.
Shaky camera: A shaky camera makes the footage look not very professional. To stop this I
use a tripod.
Poorlighting:WhenIam filmingIwill make sure thatthe lightingisgoodso that the footage
isa lotclearerand again, looks more professional.TodothisI will filmmostof myfootage in
the natural daylight.
Making sure actors known what they are doing: I will let the actors know what they are
doing before I film so they know and don’t mess up which will save time.
Havingthe correct props andequipment: To make sure I have the correct equipmentwhen
I am filmingIwill write aequipmentchecklistbefore Iamgoingto film. This way I will know
if I have forgotten anything.
Having bad weather: If I am going to film outside there could be a risk that the weather
wouldbe bad.If thisisthe case, I will make sure the equipment is water proof so it doesn’t
get ruined and I will try my best to film under shelter.
Cameradying:Equipmentsuchasare veryunpredictable. However, I will try to prevent the
camera fromdyingbycharging itin advance before we filmbutif the camera does die, I will
make sure I carry a charger around with me.
