Wifi in Corporate Environments
Robby Miller
Mr. Carroll
NT1210 / Fri. Night
Wi Fi in the Corporate Environment Business is much different today than it has ever been. The
strategies incorporated in the success of a business can be quite complicated and requires more than
just a man or woman with a dream. Success in business is now reliant on the connectivity of their
business to their local area, as well as, the global market place. Wireless connectivity (Wi Fi) in the
corporate environment is making this possible and beyond possible as it improves. In this paper we
will see some pro s and con s of wireless connectivity in the corporate environment. Corporations are
looking to go wireless for many different reasons. These range from having less wire to ... Show more

This is a red flag and a green flag at the same time. If AT amp;T is charging for data and making
money, then the trend of provider s charging for data could take off and cause inflation of wireless
connectivity. The upside could be that user s jump ship and begin using other providers instead of one
or two major providers. AT amp;T charging for data is scary too, since it could flag that they are
reaching the limits of their bandwidth capabilities. It could be safe to say, AT amp;T has just figured
out a way to make more money without introducing new and innovative technology. In conclusion, the
use of wireless technology in the corporate environment is taking off. It seems from the research I
have done that companies are excited about the progress being made in wireless connectivity. Wi Fi is
the future for businesses. As more and more companies have traveling employees and work at home
employees the demand will grow for wireless connectivity. Productive mobility is where the corporate
environment has come and will continue to go.

The Poem On Not Shoplifting Louise Bogan s The Blue Estuaries
Author Julia Alvarez conveys the speaker s discoveries, such as the fact that the book The Blue
Estuaries is different from other books of poetry, the speaker s thoughts as they are reading the poems,
and the speaker s motivations to not steal the book using poetic devices in the poem On Not
Shoplifting Louise Bogan s The Blue Estuaries . Within the poem we see examples of alliteration,
selection of detail, imagery, and similes which help to depict the speaker s discoveries.
The first stanza captures the speaker s initial reaction and discovery of the book of poetry itself. Upon
analyzing the cover, the speaker discovers that the book The Blue Estuaries is different from other
books in the same genre. Alvarez uses a line of alliteration,

What Is Biotechnology And Its Ramification To Breast Cancer
Biotechnology and its Ramification to Breast Cancer According to the Centers of Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC) in 2014; 236,968 women and 2,141 men in the United States were diagnosed with
breast cancer. And 41,211 women and 465 men in the United States died from breast cancer (U.S.
Cancer Statistics Working Group, 2017). That volume of death could have drastically been decreased
if the clinicians, physicians, and oncologists utilized the Mammaprint. To understand the way
Mammaprint makes a difference we first need to understand breast cancer at different levels. Some
ideas we need to know are about the way that breast cancer evolves and utilizes energy, the different

Warburg), the standard process in cancer metabolism (Gentric, 2017).
We need to consider the significant role of TME, especially CAFs and immune cells, which
profoundly participate in the metabolic interplay with neoplastic cells. CAFs and immune cells can
collectively adapt to the metabolic needs of cancer cells and thus participate in tumorigenesis.
Metabolic balance between all these players also promotes resistance to treatments, including not only
the conventional chemotherapy or radiotherapy but also the most recent and advanced
immunotherapies. Characterizing the mutual metabolic interplay between stromal, immune, and
neoplastic cells will likely provide a better understanding of tumor progression and treatment
resistance (Gentric, 2017).
Biomarkers and Genetic Polymorphism
Genome studies have identified about 80 or more genetic variants or single nucleotide polymorphisms
(SNPs) linked with breast cancer risk. Each variant only discreetly alters breast cancer risk; however,
together they add large risk data to current risk analysts. Therefore, when added to traditional risk
models, such as the Gail model, the Tyrer Cuzick model and/or the Breast Cancer Surveillance
Consortium (BSCC) model, a combination of genetic risk factors can be used to increase risk
arrangement. Risk arrangements with SNPs and other genetic alternates may also be useful to aid in
other decisions for breast cancer prevention and screening. For

American Pioneers Vs Pioneers
I recognise your claim in your speech and I have to say I disagree with you. I solemnly believe that the
statue should be put up because the pioneers had every right to come here. They were in search for a
better living because in Holland they were not able to raise children nor make a living. It is very easy
today to compare it too refugees that come to America to better their lives also. Today we have people
are coming to America to better their lives, just like the pioneers did. This statue shows the American

Neurogenic TOS Research Paper
TOS is a nonspecific label. When employing it, one should define the type of TOS as arterial TOS,
venous TOS, or neurogenic TOS. Each type has different symptoms and physical findings by which
the three types can easily be identified. Neurogenic TOS (NTOS) is by far the most common,
comprising well over 90% of all TOS patients. Arterial TOS is the least common accounting for no
more than 1%. Many patients are erroneously diagnosed as vascular TOS, a nonspecific misnomer,
whereas they really have NTOS. The Adson Test of noting a radial pulse deficit in provocative
positions has been shown to be of no clinical value and should not be relied upon to make the
diagnosis of any of the three types. The test is normal in most patients with NTOS and

DNA General Concepts
1. How does gel electrophoresis sort DNA fragments? Electrical charges (positive to negative and so
on). Also by size helps sort fragments as well. Small dna moves faster than larger ones do.
1. If each individual has such a small amount of DNA, how do the bands on the gel contain enough
DNA to be visible? By restriction enzymes then amplified by polymerase chain reaction to make many
to millions of copies of a single fragment.
1. Many genes only have a few possible alleles. For example, humans only have a few eye colors and
only four blood types. How can DNA tests definitively identify individuals when many men have
brown eyes or type A blood? The way this is done is by VNTR ( variable number tandem repeats) the
length varies from person to person and the base pairing also differs as well.

Part 3: Analyzing the Results
1. List the distances traveled (in mm) for the bands in the DNA Ladder in the table below.
Remember, smaller fragments travel farther than longer ones, so the top most band will be the 1,000
bp fragments while the bottom most band will be the 50 bp fragments.

The Issue Of Tort Law
In recent years, tort has been increasingly criticized on its suitability in performing its functions
including deterrence, compensation and justice. Along with its inefficiency and the high litigating
cost, it has been discussing whether tort should be replaced or eliminating some of the areas. Although
tort is not a perfect system, I believe that there are needs of reform for certain areas such as
compensation instead of abolishing the tort law. The aim of this essay is to explore the recent
criticisms about tort law with further analysis in order to find out whether these criticisms are valid.
Certain areas of reform will also be discussed so that to see how we are possible to improve the
current tort law system. There are several ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It is very similar in terms of the moral inhibition that people normally stop any self satisfying
behaviours which would cause harm to the others unreasonablly. People have sense of moral within
themselves therefore are not very likely to act harmfully to the others and also avoid to casue any
embarrassment. For market force, professionals or businessmen are to aim to attract new customers so
they are more likely to act safe and avoid having bad reputation that may affect their career as they
provide any dangerous products or servies. It has been suggested that due to the above behavioural
control, tort law may not be necessary and have not been doing well to act as a deterrence and is
predicted that tort claims are not very likely to rise drastically even tort law is abolished or replaced.
Apart from deterrence, compensation is another function of tort law and is also known as the central
purpose of it. However, there are increasing arguments against the present system criticising its
inefficiency in compensating the accident victims. Firstly, it will lead to excessive compenstation.
There are three systems that accident victims can claim for their compensation and they are tort
damage, public nuissance and private nuissance. Some victims may be over compensated if they claim

Essay On Venous Insufficiency
Mechanisms of onset of chronic venous insufficiency (CVI)
The pathophysiology of CVI remained moderately darken as of not long ago, however late advances
relating hemodynamic disarranges to cell science have revealed insight into how its components
interlink. CVI might be because of inherited anomalies of vessel walls or tissues, or give off an
impression of being auxiliary to profound vein thrombosis. The reason for CVI is then identified with
a hover of activities, including the movement of venous hypertension (VH), prompting aggravations
of blood stream and venous stasis. These two elements follow up on the dividers of primary veins and
cause varicosities, and on the microcirculation, where they cause edema and ulcers.
I VENOUS ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Extending and abnormalities of principle vein walls result in troublesome emptying when standing. In
short, it is the advancement of varicose veins which prompts stasis.
Aggravating factors additionally assume an essential part in these anatomical changes.
Functional abnormalities:
The highly aggravating factor in case of the failure of the muscle pump is reduced calf ejection
fraction. Even more, valvular reflux (recognized by Doppler), happening early, even before valvular
ineptitude, or late, at different destinations in the venous framework as per people, is a noteworthy
reason for the compounding of stasis. Reflux is normal: it is available in 68% of patients in the
saphenous beneath the knee, in 55% above and in 30% at the saphenofemoral intersection. Ulcer
patients have extreme and multisegmental reflux. Reflux is superficial and deep when edema is
available.
Hemorheological abnormalities
Increased blood consistency and red cell conglomeration are present in CVI, in the fundamental
dissemination and considerably more so in varicose veins. These occasions are connected to blood
levels of large atoms, particularly fibrinogen.
Consequently, anatomical changes of venous wall and the beginning of reflux and rheological
irregularities increment with time, as indicated by age, familial inherited conditions, pregnancies, and
long stretches

2.1 Energy Systems
In the U.S., the Government made a study published in 2016 that 40% of total US energy consumption
was consumed by residential and commercial properties (U.S. Department of Energy, 2017). The
below notes the major building services that consume the most energy. For New York to meet the
greenhouse gas requirements by 2050, a reduction of 80%, they imposed regulations (Halper, 2017).
This is outlined below.
To ensure that the skyscraper met the LEEDS rating system standards, multiple services and
considerations within the building were modified. They consist of;

Replacing the standard light bulb to either a CFL (Compact Florescent Lamps) or LEDs, can save
approximately 65% to 80% on energy in comparison with the average light bulb. The bulb lives are
increased with CFL being 10,000 hours and LED being 25,000 hours. (U.S. Department of Energy,
2017). When purchasing light bulbs for an office situation there are rules and regulations to meet so
the lighting is appropriate for a work environment.
To achieve the LEED rating for lighting, contributes 23 points towards the total LEEDS rating, the
New York skyscraper must only provide lighting to areas which are in use at the time; use natural
lighting where possible; use sustainable light fittings; use reflective lighting; and use control lighting
(DiLouie, 2009). These are only to name a few.
To meet these guidelines the Bank of America in New York has reduced the overall use of electric
lighting by 25%. This is by maximising natural light by installing windows which are approximately
2.9 metres tall (floor to ceiling). The windows are made from low iron soda lime . This product can be
coated with anti reflection coating. This achieves a total light transmission of 98% (Abrisa
Technologies, 2010). The building also has installed transparent internal walls which separate internal
areas. This plan ensures that the majority of the building receives natural lighting. Photo and motion

With its six petaled flowers that range in color from yellow, white and pink to blue, red and purple, iris
(Iris spp.) can be an attractive addition in the garden. Iris consists of more than 200 species, many of
which are hardy to U.S. Department of Agriculture plant hardiness zone 3. Siberian iris (Iris sibirica)
and crested iris (Iris cristata), for instance, can thrive in USDA plant hardiness zones 3 through 9. (See
References 1) Although commonly grown true to type by division, irises can also grow from seed,
although they don t grow true to the parent plant. (See References 2)
Step 1
Harvest the seedpods from an iris plant after it s done blooming in the fall. If pollinated, find the pods
on the plant below faded flowers. Remove them from the plant when they are partially green and start
to split open. Shell the pods to reveal about 60 seeds per pod. (See References 3)

Summary Of In The Belly Of The Beast
On Paul Solotaroff s In the Belly of the Beast : A Not So Subtle Argument Against Factory Farming
The dawn of civilization began with mankind mastering a constant source of food. From humble
grains to the mighty cow, raising and harvesting food has been an unchanged profession for millennia.
Ingrained into the fabric of society to the point of the biblical story of Cain and Abel, where Abel,
being a Shepard, offered one of his flock to God as a sacrifice which was preferred over Cain s grain
offering. From biblical times, the progression of technology for herding and rearing animals had not
changed up until the industrial revolution. The industrial revolution led to new mechanized ways of
raising animals but, also losing touch with the natural way of things. This mechanized way of raising
animals is talked about by Paul Solotaroff in his article, In the Belly of The Beast on how cruel and
brutal the conditions are for the animals being raised today in factory farms and how people should act
against them. Solotaroff opens the article with Sarah which isn t her real name and is made very clear
that its important her real name isn t known. Sarah then describes the scene of the farm she works on
in a vivid sense, such as
the sensory assault of 10,000 pigs in close quarters: the stench of their shit, piled three feet high in the
slanted trenches below; the blood on sows snouts cut by cages so tight they can t turn around or lie

Facial Display Experiment
As the hypothesis predicted, the rate and the duration of facial displays do influence the outcome of a
contest between two male Betta splendens. In fact, it was found that the male which carried out more
facial displays for longer was, on average, defined as the winner of a dyadic conflict.
The average results seem to reinforce this hypothesis, although a few results went against it (e.g., the
fish in tank 13), which might have been due to some limitations of the experiment. The heater on the
left side of the tank might have interfered with the response from the left fish as it consists in a
physical object and might have reduced the attention of the fish especially during the first part of the
experiment. This means that there might have ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Nonetheless, in the natural environment of Betta splendens the results might have been different as
many external factors might alter the outcome. In fact, in the natural environment aggression is mainly
used in order to get mating opportunities as the dominant male is seen as persisting whilst the
subordinate flees. This conveys genetic superiority to a potential female mate and therefore suggests
that they are breeding fighting fish and will be the best fitted to defend the area around the nest
(Doutrelanta C, McGregora PK, Oliveirab RF, 2001). Studies show that the agonistic behaviour of a
Siamese fighting fish is influenced by the effect of an audience. With a female audience, males tend to
show agonistic displays that are not so aggressive, as a recent study shows that females tend to prefer
less aggressive individuals (Teresa L. Dzieweczynski, Alyssa M. Russell, Lindsay M. Forrette and
Krystal L. Mannion, 2014). However, they tend to have more aggressive contact (e.g., biting) with
their opponents in the presence of males, which eavesdrop on the display. The behavior of the fish
might have also been influenced by the presence of a nest or of progeny in their territory as studies
show that aggressiveness increases in males who need to defend nests

Examples Of Human Relationships In The Crucible
Human Relationships

The Role Of Media And Its Functionality
Introduction
In an effort to understand the media and its functionality, it is my belief that one needs to go back to
inception to get a fair understanding. The twentieth century was an era that saw an explosion of mass
media however, prior to the late 1980s; the only form of mass media that was prominent of that time
was literature. It was noted that back in these times, the average person had to get by with music and
oral storytelling or live action media through the form of plays or even gladiatorial combats (Ferguson
2013). In light of the above, one might argue that mass media back in the day experienced a little
flourish, for instance the proliferation of theaters in Greek civilization or Coliseum games in Rome.
Nonetheless, it would be safe to say that mass media that we have come to know today, is a
comparatively modern phenomenon, due to the fact, that modern mass media differs gravely from its
historical antecedents but more with regard to technology rather than content. Business dictionary
defines media as the communication channels through which news, entertainment, education, data, or
promotional messages are disseminated. This is inclusive of every broadcasting and narrowcasting
medium such as newspapers, magazines, TV, radio, billboards, direct mail, telephone, fax, and
internet. This definition simply highlights the reality that the media is so vast and complex that it is
impossible to sum up what it is in a few words.
Thus, on the basis of the above, it is

Statement Of Purpose Of The Naval Academy
The most difficult question every teenager gets asked is, What do you plan on doing after High
School? I always said, I want to see the world! I want to be successful in whatever career I choose.
When I contemplate why I say this, I come to realize that I live for the challenges in life. I live to
experience the entire world and to leave a legacy behind. A legacy that would be remembered for
generations. When I was a young child, I heard of the US Navy and the Naval Academy from all the
intriguing stories my grandfather used to tell me. He gave in depth descriptions of the images he saw
in the service. The sunrises that he experienced on the edge of the Cua Viet River when assigned to
Assault Craft Unit One. He describes the sounds of gunfire zooming past his head and the birds
chirping every morning. Since I heard these experience s, I have been inspired to attend an academy
and allow it to give me the chance to create my own stories and experiences. The Naval Academy
sparked a strong interest in me because it can give me an opportunity to face experiences in a new

Lincoln s Emancipation Proclamation Essay
Abraham Lincoln (February 12, 1809 to April 14, 1865) was the 16th president of the United States
and is regarded as one of America s greatest heroes due to his role as savior of the Union and
emancipator of the slaves. His rise from humble beginnings to achieving the highest office in the land
is a remarkable story. He was suddenly and tragically assassinated at a time when his country needed
him to complete the great task remaining before the nation. His eloquence of democracy and
insistence that the Union was worth saving embody the ideals of self government that all nations strive
to achieve. Lincoln s distinctively human and humane personality and incredible impact on the nation
has endowed him with an enduring legacy.

The Civil War, Lincoln said, was the ultimate test of the preservation of the Union created in 1776,
and the dead at Gettysburg fought to uphold this cause. Lincoln evoked the Declaration of
Independence, saying it was up to the living to ensure that the government of the people, by the
people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth, and this Union was dedicated to the proposition
that all men are created equal. A common interpretation was that the President was expanding the
cause of the Civil War from simply reunifying the Union to also fighting for equality and abolishing
slavery.
Abraham Lincoln s Assassination
Abraham Lincoln was assassinated on April 14, 1865, by well known actor and Confederate
sympathizer John Wilkes Booth at Ford s Theater in Washington, D.C. He was taken from the theater
to the Petersen House across the street and laid in a coma for nine hours before dying the next
morning. His body lay in state at the Capitol before a funeral train took him back to his final resting
place in Springfield, Illinois.
Family
Abraham Lincoln was born to Thomas Lincoln and Nancy Hanks Lincoln. Thomas was a strong and
determined pioneer who found a moderate level of prosperity and was well respected in the
community. The couple had two other children: Abraham s older sister Sarah and younger brother
Thomas, who died in infancy.
When young Abraham was nine years old, his mother died of tremetol (milk sickness) at

Chronic Insomnia
brain tumors or strokes (Epstein, p.249).
Chronic insomnia was revealed to be in direct relation to a neurochemical imbalance in 2008 that
makes it difficult for the brain to get ready for sleep. Someone who is affected for more than six
months has 30 percent less gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA), which is chemically induced
throughout the brain to slow activity down (McKeever,2008). GABA is an inhibitory neurotransmitter
that helps regions of the brain shut down by reducing electrical activity (Mehta,2008). This attributes
to overactivity being present at not only the level of excessive thoughts and emotions but at the
nervous system as well (McKeever,2008). Hyperarousal is also a neurobiological state of chronic
insomnia and lower GABA levels are found in people with a major depression disorder and anxiety
disorders that both factor into disturbed sleep (health.com). To support this theory, researchers
collected data on 16 people ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

patterns and working memory tasks. During the overnight sleep period, the group with insomnia got
about 6 hours of sleep and the group without insomnia averaged 7 hours. The memory task occurred
while the brain was being scanned with functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). People with
insomnia showed less activity in working memory regions and people without showed more. As the
task got harder, people without insomnia showed more activity in the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex
and less for people with insomnia (Rettner,2013). With the increased difficulty of the tasks, the group

The African World-view in Soyinka s Death and the King s...
The African world view in Soyinka s Death and the King s Horseman
In his play, Death and the King s Horseman, Wole Soyinka uses certain literary forms and devices to
intermix Yoruba culture and a predominantly European dramatic form to create a play easily
understood by the audience, but that allows the introduction of a foreign influence. These devices
include the use of a songlike quality in dialogue and the telling of stories, the use of personification
and metaphor to give an exotic quality to the play, and the use of certain elements to provide the
reader with a sense of the mystic traditions that are Africa. These Yoruban elements are best explained

Elesin: (Executes a brief, half taunting dance . . . as he chants the story of the Not I bird, his voice

A twilight whisper in the leaves before
The great araba falls? Did you hear it?
Not I! Swears the farmer. He snaps
His fingers round his head, abandons
A hard worn harvest and begins
A rapid dialogue with his legs. (1158)
Soyinka uses personification and metaphor to lend an exotic, poetic quality to the play. In this excerpt
from page 1159, Elesin personifies envy, symbolizing its attacking quality, uses houseposts as a
metaphor to symbolize the building of trust, and termites as a metaphor to symbolize the way in which
time eats at all things. Elesin also uses the twilight hour, or the coming of the end of the day, to
symbolize the approaching of the end of his life, and bats and rodents as symbols of things that might
tarnish the honor given him because of his duty to his king and the trust built with his king. Line 213
begins:
Elesin: The world was mine. Our joint hands
Raised houseposts of trust that withstood
The siege of envy and the termites of time.
But the twilight hour brings bats and rodents
Should I yield them cause to foul the rafters? (1159)
Soyinka uses mystic elements to provide the reader with a sense of the Africa of tradition. The
religious traditions of Africa are rife

Enter Hypocrites, Phone Geeks
Prelude...
Ever since a young age, I have been astounded by the lack of sincerity and common since that others
lack. With technology growing rapidly each day, people have evolved into lazy, ignorant, lackadaisical
human beings. As I have grown into a young adult in modern society, I have experienced multiple
events that have made me want to pull my hair out. It doesn t take much to get under my skin, but
some of these events are excruciating and would annoy any other person with a common since.
Hypocrites, phone geeks, and other persons are what annoy me worse. I have always wondered how
somebody can act in such of these ways without receiving any kind of punishment or ill treatment. It
wasn t long until all of these questions I had been ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Enter Hypocrites. This sign said. My body began to fuel with hatred and numerous emotions. There is
nothing on this life I despise more then people who do what they say they are against. As we entered
the final gate, I was highly amused at what was before me. The people in this circle had the body of a
bull, and a human head with their mouths sewn shut. They galloped around in a pit with very little
space and they were covered in feces. I figured the mouths were seen shut because of how these
people wasted their words and lied all throughout their lives. They had the body of a bull, well,
because they were full of bull shit obviously. Of all of the famous people I witnessed in this circle,
none stuck out to me more than Henry David Thoreau. Thoreau s reputation is remembered as one
who was a great environmentalist in our world we live in, but down here it is a completely different
story. When he was alive, he criticized people were disrespecting nature. He once set fire to a forest,
nearly burning half of it down. To make matters worse, he worked in a pencil factory which required
logging and trees to be cut down. He also claimed to be a self reliant human being, where this was
completely false. He lived on land owned by Ralph Waldo Emerson, and his mother did his own
laundry. I was highly amused to see his bull shit finally come full

Joyce Carol Oates Smooth Talk
Compare and Contrast Essay Short stories don t always translate well into full length movies, but this
movie, Smooth Talk, by Joyce Chopra, is a wonderful work based on the story, Where Are You Going,
Where Have You Been, by Joyce Carol Oates. The movie is very different from the original work,
both have the same storyline, both talk about a teenage girl name Connie. When putting these two
together, while similarity in many ways, but at the same time, they both have differences throughout
the entire story, from what we imagine of the characters to the ending of the story. As in the short
story, the story is more about Connie and Oates only uses a few sentences to describe her family
members, she doesn t provide much detail either. On the other hand, in the movie by Joyce Chopra,
she adds a few scene and even developing further more into the other characters, such as the mother,
father and her older sister, June. The main theme is still about Connie but also about her family. By
doing this, it can create more connection ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Unlike Oates leaves the story with an open ended ending, with lots of questions hanging. The story
ends with no other explain, and the ending is up to the reader to decide, which makes the story more
thrilling. On the contrary, the changes Chopra made gives the movie another aspect and a new sense, a
new feeling to it. The new ending solves all the conflict between the mother and Connie when they
finally accept each other. Her sister, June, at the very last scene of the movie, is finally able to sit with
Connie and talks about what has happened. Overall it is a happy ending comparing to the short story
that it s based on. The ending makes it look like the ride with Arnold Friend was just another

Analysis Of The Song Drifting Through The Waves
Amey Kamat Writing 151 Prof. Domitteo November 13, 2014 Drifting Through the Waves Water has
been a main factor through human histories life. Our human body is composed mostly of water. Water
helps our body by regulating the body s temperature, hydrating the body, help clean the body and help
lubricate your bones. People don t know that you can use water for other purposes such as water
rehabilitation. So to top it all off the Song waves by Mr. Probz was a great edition to this paper. The
song Waves is about how a guy that recently broke up with his girlfriend and he s having trouble
forgetting her. At the beginning of the song Mr. Probz wakes up on a beach right in the shallow part of
the water. To me it symbolizes that the beach and water are there to help patch his wounds by
forgetting his girlfriend. So with that water rehabilitation is mainly used to help build back your
strength, endurance, posture, mobility, and many more. Water rehabilitation is used for major or even
the simplest injuries. Injuries and injured parts of your body tend to use water rehabilitation are
ACL/MCL strains, arthritis, chronic pain, neck, shoulder, back, strokes, knees and neurological
disabilities. There have been many athletes that have used water rehabilitation or aquatic rehab to help
rehabilitate their body from major injuries. Aquatic rehabilitation is one of the most useful types of
rehabilitation and can be much more relaxing then other rehabilitation techniques. Aquatic

What Is Freud s View On Religion
Freud was a 20th century neurologist and seen as the father of psychoanalysis. His views regarding
religion reflect his profound emphasis on research of the human mind as a tool of illusory means.
His views are seen in many of his books and essays, for example Obsessive Actions and Religious
Practices published in 1907. In this he suggests that both religion and neurosis are similar products of
the human mind. Insofar as neurosis compulsive behaviour predicate is an individual religiosity and
religion, which can observe repetitive rituals, is a universal obsessional neurosis .
However simply stating that Freud s view on religion regards Neurosis would be a gross mis
understatement of his works. In the Future of an Illusion published in 1927, Freud refers to religion as
an illusion ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He hopes that in the future science will go beyond religion, and reason will replace faith in God .
Furthermore Freud argued that his notion of the Oedipal conflict argues the Child s desire for the
mother and the libidinal intervening father conflicts with the relationship of the child and the mother.
All major Western religions are seen to glorify a submission to a father god. Insofar as mediating the
acceptance of interdiction and of the reality principle . Therefore they bridge desire and law.
Freud also emphasized guilt as having a fundamental role in ones psyche. Mainly operating
unconsciously. Freud subscribes to a contemporary anthropological theory of his time in that the
origin of guilt was a murder of the primal father. Which, according to Freud is the missing link
explaining the functioning of the aforementioned interdiction in our actions. Therefore it is the fathers
death that initiates the law functioning as the origin of all Father God

Insect Preservation In Amber
Insect preservation in Amber
Tree resin has helped entomologist piece together the history of insects. First occurring during the
Triassic, coniferous trees produced tremendous amounts of resin to protect against attack by pests and
other parasites. The sticky sap like substance would trap organisms that came in contact and
eventually engulf them. Over time, the tree resin fossilized and became amber, preserving the trapped
life form inside. The encasing of the organism allowed for its preservation (Penny et al. 2013). Pieces
of amber show a moment frozen in time and let entomologist witness ancient insects and give a
screenshot of their behavior. Therefore, entomology has been able to utilize the amber to study the

After her eggs had hatched, she continued to carry her young in a brood chamber on the underside of
her belly. The chamber is made by horizontal projection coming off her thoracic legs, and her young
would have stayed there until they could fend for themselves (Boucot Poinar 2010). Today, isopods
demonstrate the same maternal care, but without the preservation of amber, the similar behavior would
not have been known. Money grasshoppers are another example of a similar behavior caught in amber.
These specimens are among the rarest insects to be found in amber. This grasshopper is mobile in the
treetop region of a forest but tends to rest in small patches of sunlight down in the shrub. When resting
in the bushes, the grasshoppers cross their hind legs. This is a way for the grasshoppers to avoid
predators. The hind legs resemble two crossing stems, allowing the grasshoppers to blend in amongst
the shrubs. Some grasshoppers have been found preserved in this position (Poinar Poinar 1999).
Grasshoppers have been using their hind legs for camouflage for millions of years. Which implies, the
technique must help them avoid predation. Isopods continue to take care of their young and have yet
to become extinct. These methods have been successful and will probably still be successful until
something drastically and suddenly

  • 2. Wifi in Corporate Environments Robby Miller Mr. Carroll NT1210 / Fri. Night Wi Fi in the Corporate Environment Business is much different today than it has ever been. The strategies incorporated in the success of a business can be quite complicated and requires more than just a man or woman with a dream. Success in business is now reliant on the connectivity of their business to their local area, as well as, the global market place. Wireless connectivity (Wi Fi) in the corporate environment is making this possible and beyond possible as it improves. In this paper we will see some pro s and con s of wireless connectivity in the corporate environment. Corporations are looking to go wireless for many different reasons. These range from having less wire to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This is a red flag and a green flag at the same time. If AT amp;T is charging for data and making money, then the trend of provider s charging for data could take off and cause inflation of wireless connectivity. The upside could be that user s jump ship and begin using other providers instead of one or two major providers. AT amp;T charging for data is scary too, since it could flag that they are reaching the limits of their bandwidth capabilities. It could be safe to say, AT amp;T has just figured out a way to make more money without introducing new and innovative technology. In conclusion, the use of wireless technology in the corporate environment is taking off. It seems from the research I have done that companies are excited about the progress being made in wireless connectivity. Wi Fi is the future for businesses. As more and more companies have traveling employees and work at home employees the demand will grow for wireless connectivity. Productive mobility is where the corporate environment has come and will continue to go. Works Cited Omatseye, Sam. 802.11B Business Holds Promise For Vendors. RCR Wireless News 20.25 (2001): 2. • 3. The Poem On Not Shoplifting Louise Bogan s The Blue Estuaries Author Julia Alvarez conveys the speaker s discoveries, such as the fact that the book The Blue Estuaries is different from other books of poetry, the speaker s thoughts as they are reading the poems, and the speaker s motivations to not steal the book using poetic devices in the poem On Not Shoplifting Louise Bogan s The Blue Estuaries . Within the poem we see examples of alliteration, selection of detail, imagery, and similes which help to depict the speaker s discoveries. The first stanza captures the speaker s initial reaction and discovery of the book of poetry itself. Upon analyzing the cover, the speaker discovers that the book The Blue Estuaries is different from other books in the same genre. Alvarez uses a line of alliteration, ... What Is Biotechnology And Its Ramification To Breast Cancer Biotechnology and its Ramification to Breast Cancer According to the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in 2014; 236,968 women and 2,141 men in the United States were diagnosed with breast cancer. And 41,211 women and 465 men in the United States died from breast cancer (U.S. Cancer Statistics Working Group, 2017). That volume of death could have drastically been decreased if the clinicians, physicians, and oncologists utilized the Mammaprint. To understand the way Mammaprint makes a difference we first need to understand breast cancer at different levels. Some ideas we need to know are about the way that breast cancer evolves and utilizes energy, the different biomarkers and genetic makeup of breast cancer, chemotherapeutics ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Warburg), the standard process in cancer metabolism (Gentric, 2017). We need to consider the significant role of TME, especially CAFs and immune cells, which profoundly participate in the metabolic interplay with neoplastic cells. CAFs and immune cells can collectively adapt to the metabolic needs of cancer cells and thus participate in tumorigenesis. Metabolic balance between all these players also promotes resistance to treatments, including not only the conventional chemotherapy or radiotherapy but also the most recent and advanced immunotherapies. Characterizing the mutual metabolic interplay between stromal, immune, and neoplastic cells will likely provide a better understanding of tumor progression and treatment resistance (Gentric, 2017). Biomarkers and Genetic Polymorphism Genome studies have identified about 80 or more genetic variants or single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) linked with breast cancer risk. Each variant only discreetly alters breast cancer risk; however, together they add large risk data to current risk analysts. Therefore, when added to traditional risk models, such as the Gail model, the Tyrer Cuzick model and/or the Breast Cancer Surveillance Consortium (BSCC) model, a combination of genetic risk factors can be used to increase risk arrangement. Risk arrangements with SNPs and other genetic alternates may also be useful to aid in other decisions for breast cancer prevention and screening. For ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

It is very easy today to compare it too refugees that come to America to better their lives also. Today we have people are coming to America to better their lives, just like the pioneers did. Each type has different symptoms and physical findings by which the three types can easily be identified. Neurogenic TOS (NTOS) is by far the most common, comprising well over 90% of all TOS patients. Arterial TOS is the least common accounting for no more than 1%. Many patients are erroneously diagnosed as vascular TOS, a nonspecific misnomer, whereas they really have NTOS. By restriction enzymes then amplified by polymerase chain reaction to make many to millions of copies of a single fragment. 1. Many genes only have a few possible alleles. For example, humans only have a few eye colors and only four blood types. How can DNA tests definitively identify individuals when many men have brown eyes or type A blood? Along with its inefficiency and the high litigating cost, it has been discussing whether tort should be replaced or eliminating some of the areas. For market force, professionals or businessmen are to aim to attract new customers so they are more likely to act safe and avoid having bad reputation that may affect their career as they provide any dangerous products or servies. It has been suggested that due to the above behavioural control, tort law may not be necessary and have not been doing well to act as a deterrence and is predicted that tort claims are not very likely to rise drastically even tort law is abolished or replaced. Apart from deterrence, compensation is another function of tort law and is also known as the central purpose of it. • 18. Summary Of In The Belly Of The Beast On Paul Solotaroff s In the Belly of the Beast : A Not So Subtle Argument Against Factory Farming The dawn of civilization began with mankind mastering a constant source of food. From humble grains to the mighty cow, raising and harvesting food has been an unchanged profession for millennia. Ingrained into the fabric of society to the point of the biblical story of Cain and Abel, where Abel, being a Shepard, offered one of his flock to God as a sacrifice which was preferred over Cain s grain offering. From biblical times, the progression of technology for herding and rearing animals had not changed up until the industrial revolution. The industrial revolution led to new mechanized ways of raising animals but, also losing touch with the natural way of things. This mechanized way of raising animals is talked about by Paul Solotaroff in his article, In the Belly of The Beast on how cruel and brutal the conditions are for the animals being raised today in factory farms and how people should act against them. Solotaroff opens the article with Sarah which isn t her real name and is made very clear that its important her real name isn t known. Sarah then describes the scene of the farm she works on in a vivid sense, such as the sensory assault of 10,000 pigs in close quarters: the stench of their shit, piled three feet high in the slanted trenches below; the blood on sows snouts cut by cages so tight they can t turn around or lie sideways; the racking cries of ... In fact, it was found that the male which carried out more facial displays for longer was, on average, defined as the winner of a dyadic conflict. The average results seem to reinforce this hypothesis, although a few results went against it (e.g., the fish in tank 13), which might have been due to some limitations of the experiment. The heater on the left side of the tank might have interfered with the response from the left fish as it consists in a physical object and might have reduced the attention of the fish especially during the first part of the experiment. This means that there might have ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Nonetheless, in the natural environment of Betta splendens the results might have been different as many external factors might alter the outcome. In fact, in the natural environment aggression is mainly used in order to get mating opportunities as the dominant male is seen as persisting whilst the subordinate flees. This conveys genetic superiority to a potential female mate and therefore suggests that they are breeding fighting fish and will be the best fitted to defend the area around the nest (Doutrelanta C, McGregora PK, Oliveirab RF, 2001). Studies show that the agonistic behaviour of a Siamese fighting fish is influenced by the effect of an audience. With a female audience, males tend to show agonistic displays that are not so aggressive, as a recent study shows that females tend to prefer less aggressive individuals (Teresa L. Dzieweczynski, Alyssa M. Russell, Lindsay M. Forrette and Krystal L. Mannion, 2014). However, they tend to have more aggressive contact (e.g., biting) with their opponents in the presence of males, which eavesdrop on the display. The behavior of the fish might have also been influenced by the presence of a nest or of progeny in their territory as studies show that aggressiveness increases in males who need to defend nests ... • 21. The Role Of Media And Its Functionality Introduction In an effort to understand the media and its functionality, it is my belief that one needs to go back to inception to get a fair understanding. The twentieth century was an era that saw an explosion of mass media however, prior to the late 1980s; the only form of mass media that was prominent of that time was literature. It was noted that back in these times, the average person had to get by with music and oral storytelling or live action media through the form of plays or even gladiatorial combats (Ferguson 2013). In light of the above, one might argue that mass media back in the day experienced a little flourish, for instance the proliferation of theaters in Greek civilization or Coliseum games in Rome. Nonetheless, it would be safe to say that mass media that we have come to know today, is a comparatively modern phenomenon, due to the fact, that modern mass media differs gravely from its historical antecedents but more with regard to technology rather than content. Business dictionary defines media as the communication channels through which news, entertainment, education, data, or promotional messages are disseminated. This is inclusive of every broadcasting and narrowcasting medium such as newspapers, magazines, TV, radio, billboards, direct mail, telephone, fax, and internet. This definition simply highlights the reality that the media is so vast and complex that it is impossible to sum up what it is in a few words. Thus, on the basis of the above, it is ... He describes the sounds of gunfire zooming past his head and the birds chirping every morning. Since I heard these experience s, I have been inspired to attend an academy and allow it to give me the chance to create my own stories and experiences. The Civil War, Lincoln said, was the ultimate test of the preservation of the Union created in 1776, and the dead at Gettysburg fought to uphold this cause. Lincoln evoked the Declaration of Independence, saying it was up to the living to ensure that the government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth, and this Union was dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal. A common interpretation was that the President was expanding the cause of the Civil War from simply reunifying the Union to also fighting for equality and abolishing slavery. • 25. Chronic Insomnia brain tumors or strokes (Epstein, p.249). Chronic insomnia was revealed to be in direct relation to a neurochemical imbalance in 2008 that makes it difficult for the brain to get ready for sleep. Someone who is affected for more than six months has 30 percent less gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA), which is chemically induced throughout the brain to slow activity down (McKeever,2008). GABA is an inhibitory neurotransmitter that helps regions of the brain shut down by reducing electrical activity (Mehta,2008). This attributes to overactivity being present at not only the level of excessive thoughts and emotions but at the nervous system as well (McKeever,2008). Hyperarousal is also a neurobiological state of chronic insomnia and lower GABA levels are found in people with a major depression disorder and anxiety disorders that both factor into disturbed sleep (health.com). First occurring during the Triassic, coniferous trees produced tremendous amounts of resin to protect against attack by pests and other parasites. The encasing of the organism allowed for its preservation (Penny et al. 2013). Today, isopods demonstrate the same maternal care, but without the preservation of amber, the similar behavior would not have been known. Money grasshoppers are another example of a similar behavior caught in amber. These specimens are among the rarest insects to be found in amber. This grasshopper is mobile in the treetop region of a forest but tends to rest in small patches of sunlight down in the shrub. When resting in the bushes, the grasshoppers cross their hind legs. This is a way for the grasshoppers to avoid predators. The hind legs resemble two crossing stems, allowing the grasshoppers to blend in amongst the shrubs. Some grasshoppers have been found preserved in this position (Poinar Poinar 1999). Grasshoppers have been using their hind legs for camouflage for millions of years.
