This document describes a simulation model of a Toyota car assembly unit. The simulation models the manufacturing process from chassis assembly through fitting of various parts like the engine, gearbox, radiator, seats, etc. It then models the body assembly, fitting of windshield, doors, and finishing touches. The simulation runs for 960 hours over 40 days and produces 61 cars. Key outputs of the simulation include total time, number of parts/cars, processing times, and production output which can help Toyota estimate parking needs and workforce scheduling.
