Study on properties of concrete by partially replacing cement with GGBSNajeer Ahamad
India has an enormous growth in the industry of steel and copper. These industries produce hazardous by products like ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS). If they were not disposed off properly, they may cause hazards to the atmosphere. Considering the long term performance and stability of structures, this study suggests replacing some percentage of cement withGGBS to develop high performance concrete. This paper presents an experimental investigation to know the use of GGBS in concrete as a replacing agent of cement.. To accomplish this 53 grade Ordinary Portland cement were used in preparing concrete mix with a w/c ratio of 0.40 with suitable superplasticizers. In order to confirm the use of GGBS as a replacing agent tests were conducted. Cement was replaced with 0% to 40% with GGBS respectively. Concrete control specimens without replacement were also cast for comparison. After casting the cube moulds specimens were tested for various tests likecompressive strength test, tensile strength test, flexural strength test.
The Benkelman beam is the simplest and the oldest deflection
test device, developed in the United States in the mid-1950s. Its used to measure the structural capacity of a flexible pavement.

Presentation on Summer internship on Road ConstructionSelf-employed
This is an presentation on training in LODHA Palava, In this internship, I learned about an overview of the road construction which I mentioned in this presentation.
The project provides an insight on pavement Management Systems.PMS helps in making informed decisions enabling the maintenance of the network in a serviceable and safe condition at a minimum cost to both the agency and the road users. To adequately meet this requirement, well-documented information is essential to make defensible decisions on the basis of sound principles of engineering and management

The intersection of railway track and the road at the same level is referred to as a level crossing. In the urban areas the level crossing is generally monitored by qualified railway personnel who monitor the train movement and close the level crossing gate to stop the interfering road traffic but such closing of gates leads to congestion in road traffic and also causes loss of time to road users. Road under bridge and road over the bridge are considered as solutions for avoiding level crossings of roads and railway track.
Summer Internship Presentation of Building Self-employed
This presentation includes various types of information which are precisely done at the time of internship. This includes Short detail of company, project, process, difficulties faced and some simple formulae to calculate the Quantity and estimation of materials used.

Cable Stay Bridge construction at Bardhman using LARSA and LUSAS four dimensi...Rajesh Prasad
For the construction of Cable Stayed Bridge at Bardhman, a simulation model was made using LARSA 4D and accordingly design were concluded considering all the possible situation. At the execution stage the profile/geometry control is very important. Accordingly construction stage analysis along with geometry control is being done using LUSAS software. These software are 4D and the fourth dimension is Time. The said presentation covers the LARSA, LUSAS and few pictures on execution at site along with sample of documentation.
Presentation about Ircon's SGEDT project in Malaysia.Hitesh Khanna
This presentation was presented in Indian Railway's IPWE Seminar in January 2013 at Chennai. It depicts the innovations and new Technologies (in the context of Indian Railways) adopted on the project, and the various technical issues, and how they were dealt with.
There was a Bridge 2018 Conference on Innovative Technologies of Bridges organised by IIBE at Lucknow. During the conference held on 25.05.18 this paper was presented by Rajesh Prasad, ED Metro RVNL.

Sachpazis:Terzaghi Bearing Capacity Estimation in simple terms with Calculati...Dr.Costas Sachpazis
Terzaghi's soil bearing capacity theory, developed by Karl Terzaghi, is a fundamental principle in geotechnical engineering used to determine the bearing capacity of shallow foundations. This theory provides a method to calculate the ultimate bearing capacity of soil, which is the maximum load per unit area that the soil can support without undergoing shear failure. The Calculation HTML Code included.
Final project report on grocery store management system..pdfKamal Acharya
In today’s fast-changing business environment, it’s extremely important to be able to respond to client needs in the most effective and timely manner. If your customers wish to see your business online and have instant access to your products or services.
Online Grocery Store is an e-commerce website, which retails various grocery products. This project allows viewing various products available enables registered users to purchase desired products instantly using Paytm, UPI payment processor (Instant Pay) and also can place order by using Cash on Delivery (Pay Later) option. This project provides an easy access to Administrators and Managers to view orders placed using Pay Later and Instant Pay options.
In order to develop an e-commerce website, a number of Technologies must be studied and understood. These include multi-tiered architecture, server and client-side scripting techniques, implementation technologies, programming language (such as PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and MySQL relational databases. This is a project with the objective to develop a basic website where a consumer is provided with a shopping cart website and also to know about the technologies used to develop such a website.
This document will discuss each of the underlying technologies to create and implement an e- commerce website.
Hierarchical Digital Twin of a Naval Power SystemKerry Sado
A hierarchical digital twin of a Naval DC power system has been developed and experimentally verified. Similar to other state-of-the-art digital twins, this technology creates a digital replica of the physical system executed in real-time or faster, which can modify hardware controls. However, its advantage stems from distributing computational efforts by utilizing a hierarchical structure composed of lower-level digital twin blocks and a higher-level system digital twin. Each digital twin block is associated with a physical subsystem of the hardware and communicates with a singular system digital twin, which creates a system-level response. By extracting information from each level of the hierarchy, power system controls of the hardware were reconfigured autonomously. This hierarchical digital twin development offers several advantages over other digital twins, particularly in the field of naval power systems. The hierarchical structure allows for greater computational efficiency and scalability while the ability to autonomously reconfigure hardware controls offers increased flexibility and responsiveness. The hierarchical decomposition and models utilized were well aligned with the physical twin, as indicated by the maximum deviations between the developed digital twin hierarchy and the hardware.

9. BASIC COMPONENTS OF FLYOVER
Bridge cross-section can be divided
into two portions.
1. Super Structure
This portion receives the live load
directly. For example, Box Girder
2. Sub Structure
This Portion supports the entire
structure and live loads.

A pile is a vertical structural element of a deep foundation which
transfers super structure loads to the earth farther down from the
surface to a subsurface layer.

PILE CAP
Pile cap is a thick
reinforced concrete mat that
rests on concrete piles that
have been casted into ground.
concrete pile cap distributes the
load of the superstructure (from

PIER
A pier is a reinforced,
raised structure in form of
pillars typically supported by
well-spaced pile caps. It
transfers the loads from deck to
pile caps.
For this project, special shape
of pier is adopted. It as two
components

30. REINFORCED EARTH WORK
Reinforced earth wall is earth retaining structure and provided at
approaches (from road level to bridge level).
The key components of a Reinforced Earth wall are geo-strips,
granular backfill and precast concrete facing panels.
The frictional bond between the backfill supports the lateral earth
pressure and stresses induced due to traffic load.
33. PRE-STRESSED BOX GIRDERS
Bottom View of Box Girder
Piers
An optimal and most efficient design of beam is box girder. A box girder
consists of enclosed tube with multiple walls.
The advantage of a box girder is that it better resists torsion. Having
multiple vertical webs, it can also carry more load than an I-shape girder
of equal height.
