2. Steps
• Work in your sub-group and choose 3-5 interesting facts of Australia that you are
interested in;
• Discuss what category each fact belongs to. E.g. natural landscape? food？
festivals？history? Or languages?
• Why do you find them interesting?
• Introduce them to your classmates in the live session. You can use PowerPoint to
support you.
• Each group has a maximum of 6 minutes.
Notes:
It is suggested that every member should participate in this task. Or, you can take
turns to present each week, but make sure that you can demonstrate evidence of
group work.

3. Resources
There are some resources provided for your reference, but remember to
think out of the box and explore more by yourselves.
• Here is a YouTube video that covers 50 things that are only possible in
Australia. Can you imagine what are they?
• Here is a blog that introduces us 13 interesting facts of Australia that will
make you love that country.
• And there are websites where you can find plenty of resources. E.g.
