maak je met have/has + voltooid deelwoord
Het voltooid deelwoord van regelmatige werkwoorden
maak je door –ed achter het werkwoord te zetten.
• I have called my sister.
• She has watched a film.
De voltooide deelwoorden van onregelmatige
werkwoorden hebben een eigen vorm.
• I have found my car keys. (find)
• She has bought some new jeans. (buy)

3. Je gebruikt de present perfect ook om aan te geven dat
iets in het verleden is begonnen maar nog niet
afgelopen is.
Je geeft hiermee aan hoe lang iets duurt.
Let hierbij op woorden als: for, since, how long, ever,
never, already, yet en just.
• He has worked here since 2009.
• We have known them for many years.

4. Je gebruikt de present perfect om het resultaat van iets
dat (net) gebeurd is, duidelijk te maken. Er staat dan NIET
in de zin wanneer iets gebeurd is.
• I am happy, because I’ve passed my exams.
• She is tired, because she has played tennis for two
hours.
Als er WEL staat wanneer iets gebeurd is, dan gebruik je
de past simple:
• Last year I passed all my exams.
• Yesterday I played tennis for two hours.
