2. Pre-production
• What are you making? For my FMP I will be making a magazine on
the cycle of fashion, the different trends that have made a
reoccurrence whilst incorporating a street/ urban style to it.
• Why? Because I want to show how fashion has come back around in
a loop.
• Who is it for? I would say my magazine is targeted at younger
people but to be specific 15-25 year olds
• Where will it appear/on what? This magazine will be avalible as a
paper copy and a digital copy

7. Pre-production: Front page
For the front colour I want to use pastel
colours to give it a easy on the eye
calming look.
I want the colours of the fonts to match
the photos so the page doesn’t look too
busy and clash.
8. Pre-production: Contents Page
Colour Scheme
For the contents page I will make that the writing
stands out and easy to read. I will probably use a
dark blue background with light writing so the
contents will be easy to read. For the pictures I
want them to have bright popping colours to
brighten up the page.
9. Pre-production: Double Page Spread 1
My first double page will
have a 90's theme to it so I
want nice bright colours that
stand out but also match the
models outfit.
10. Pre-production: Double Page Spread 2
To balance the colours out in the
magazine I want a less in your face
colour scheme on the last double
page spread. I still want certain
colours to pop but I want the page to
be a lot less busier.
11. Fonts
I like this font as its quite graffiti like
and would look nice with my
contents page
For my first double page spread (the 90's
themed one) I feel like these fonts would fit
perfectly. I feel Milestone really gives off 90's
vibes
Show up would work perfectly for a sub
heading as its not to bold but is easy to read
Vogue and Magazine would work nicely
as titles and subheadings as their both
easy to read and professional looking
12. Location 1
Leeds
Near the train station there is alley where in
the background there are photogenic
buildings which would work perfectly with the
urban aesthetic I'm going for. There are also
steps which could look nice for one of the
photos with the model walking down them
13. Location 2
York
A new graffiti wall has been made here . It
has lots of bright colours which would
work perfectly with my 90's page making
it stand out
14. Resources/ Budget
Model Costume/Props
Model 1 (Ellora Harrison) For her costume we are using her own clothes.
She will be wearing baggy jeans with bones
on, crop top, 90's shell suit jacket and pink
converse shoes
Model 2 (Antony Sibanda) Once again there will be no extra costs as he's
using his own clothes. He will be wearing a
light blue sweater vest over the top of a plain
white t shirt, with baggy jeans and Nike
airforce trainers
Model 3 (Oli Taylor) Again there are no additional cost as the
models will be using their own clothing. Oli
will be wearing his black and red lightning
jeans, grey hoodie, black gillet, beanie and red
and white Jordans
16. Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
Starts raining Either wait till the rain passes, go back another
day or find a similar nearby location with
shelter
Camera dies Use spare battery
Model doesn’t show up Use someone else or arrange a different day
Computer crashes during production Save work regularly
Location where I am taking pictures is to busy Move away for a bit and wait for it to get less
busy or go find another location
17. Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be
avoided?
Falling on the train tracts whilst arriving and
leaving at the train station
Stay away from the tracks
Catching corona virus Make sure that all my models have had a
negative test before we take pictures, maintain
social distances and wear masks when needed
Get into an accident with a car Stay away from cars
Slip on the steps when taking pictures Be extra cautious
