This document proposes a device called a "POWER HUMP" to capture the kinetic energy of moving vehicles and convert it into electrical energy. The POWER HUMP would use a rack and pinion mechanism to convert the vehicles' kinetic energy into mechanical energy of a shaft connected to an electric dynamo, producing electricity proportional to traffic density. This generated power could be regulated using a zenor diode for continuous supply and housed under a dome-like speed bump structure. The electricity could be used for streetlights, traffic signals, and amplified by connecting multiple humps in series to satisfy future energy demands to some extent in a sustainable way by utilizing wasted kinetic energy from vehicles.

In the present scenario power becomes major need for human life. Due to day-to-day increase in population and lessen of the conventional sources, it becomes necessary that we must depend on non-conventional sources for power generation. While moving, the vehicles posses some kinetic energy and it is being wasted. This kinetic energy can be utilized to produce power by using a special arrangement called “POWER HUMP”.
The Kinetic energy of moving vehicles can be converted into mechanical energy of the shaft through rack and pinion mechanism. This shaft is connected to the electric dynamo and it produces electrical energy proportional to traffic density. This generated power can be regulated by using zener diode for continuous supply .All this mechanism can be housed under the dome like speed breaker, which is called hump.
The generated power can be used for general purpose like streetlights, traffic signals. The electrical output can be improved by arranging these power humps in series this generated power can be amplified and stored by using different electric devices. The maintenance cost of hump is almost nullified. By adopting this arrangement, we can satisfy the future demands to some extent.

potential energy in terms of weight of vehicle is loss on speed breaker can be utilized for useful
purposes. This paper describes the potential energy of such type of energy available on roads and its
utilization for useful work. The stages of development of a speed breaker device are described and the
mechanism to generate electricity using rack, pinion and speed increasing gear box and generator
and store compressed air with the help of piston cylinder compressor arrangement. Whenever the
vehicle is allowed to pass over the speed breaker dome, it gets pressed downwards. As the springs are
attached to the dome, they get compressed and the rack, which is attached to the bottom of the dome,
moves down in reciprocating motion. Since rack has teeth connected to pinion there is conversion of
reciprocating motion of rack in to rotary motion of pinion, but the two gears rotate in opposite
direction. So that shafts will rotate with certain RPM these shafts are connected through a belt drive
to the generators, which converts the mechanical energy into electrical energy. The rack is attached
to piston rod of cylinder so downward stroke of rack we can use for air compression in reservoir, with
help of piston cylinder arrangement. Simultaneously reciprocating piston cylinder arrangement
compresses the air and stores it in the reservoir. We can use the generated electricity and compressed
air for different purpose

The depletion of the fossil fuel resources and the global warming effects has led the world to think
seriously of other alternative sources of energy. So renewable energy resources (RES) are being connected to
the distribution systems, mostly done by using power electronic converters. But use of power electronic
converters and non-linear loads like at distribution level injects harmonics, which intern cause power quality
problems. Distribution static compensator (DSTATCOM) is very popular in compensating power problems for
nonlinear and unbalanced loads. Any change in the load affects the DC-link voltage (DCLV) directly.
Conventionally, a PI controller is used to maintain the DCLV to the reference value, but its transient response
is poor. So, fuzzy logic controller is proposed which shows better dynamic response. To trigger inverter HCC
is used. The proposed inverter with the control when connected to wind energy, helps the 3-phase 4-wire
linear/non-linear unbalanced load at point of common coupling appear as balanced linear load to the grid.
With MATLAB/Simulink simulation studies, the proposed control technique is demonstrated and evaluated
here.

core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.

of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land

- 2. POWER HUMP ABSTRACT In the present scenario power becomes major need for human life. Due to day-to-day increase in population and lessen of the conventional sources, it becomes necessary that we must depend on non-conventional sources for power generation. While moving, the vehicles posses some kinetic energy and it is being wasted. This kinetic energy can be utilized to produce power by using a special arrangement called “POWER HUMP”. The Kinetic energy of moving vehicles can be converted into mechanical energy of the shaft through rack and pinion mechanism. This shaft is connected to the electric dynamo and it produces electrical energy proportional to traffic density. This generated power can be regulated by using zenor diode for continuous supply .All this mechanism can be housed under the dome like speed breaker, which is called hump. The generated power can be used for general purpose like streetlights, traffic signals. The electrical output can be improved by arranging these power humps in series this generated power can be amplified and stored by using different electric devices. The maintenance cost of hump is almost nullified. By adopting this arrangement, we can satisfy the future demands to some extent.
