We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

Themes and ideas –
• The main narrative strand that is prominent
throughout my trailer, is a kidnapping. Therefore one
of my ideas for the poster is to create a missing theme
that will illustrate this narrative strand. The
conventions of the poster should be bold and bright
like a missing persons poster.
• One of the key iconography in my trailer is the red
ribbon. I will look to incorporate this into my poster.
Additionally my main image will feature Zoe running
away, this will paint a clear picture in the narrative.
• The downs is a key location for a section of my trailer.
Therefore a long shot of Zoe on the downs would be a
good main image to use for my for my poster
Synergy with social media-
• Utilizing social media on my poster can cause mass
marketing on a vast array off platforms. Therefore It is
important that my poster has social media indents
located on the poster. Additionally using Twitter you
can start a #hash tag to create perhaps a viral craze
that will boost the popularity of my magazine.
• Facebook links may cause the audience to view their
favourite soap page. New updates to the soap could
regularly be posted on the page. This will provide
audiences with up to date information. Audience
members can then send the links to other friends,
comment and like content on the page
• Point of call- The point of
call information will
include the all important
dates of my soaps debut.
This is along with the
time, which most likely be
the watershed (8:30). The
poster will also need to
include the BBC two logo
to create brand identity.
Other – I would like to
take a picture that is low
angle picture of Zoe
running with blades off
grass breaking up the
frame.
Tagline –
• “Betrayal runs deep” – This
tagline works with the
connotations of my soap
opera trailer. The main
picture of my poster will
feature Zoe running with
blades of grass breaking up
the frame. The word
“Deep” matches the picture
on screen.
Images Needed –
• Epsom downs
setting will be
the
background for
my poster.
Additionally I
could also use
a photo from
the house
scene, as it is
the most
prominent
scene.

In order to progress with my ancillary product 2, I need to gather pictures to use
effectively in my poster. I will have to take multiple pictures in different scenarios to
see what will work best for my poster. I would like to have pictures of Zoe standing on
the downs which can all be gathered on filming day.
Props play a key part in my poster, therefore I will look into incorporating the red
ribbon theme that runs throughout my trailer into my poster. This will give the
poster some key iconography that the audience can connect with. I have started to
research the types of fonts that I would like to use. These are bold and easy to read.
But Additionally they must portray an eerie kidnapper feel.
I will utilise Adobe Photoshop CS5 in order to create my poster. This is because I am
very familiar with the software, and it is a great image manipulation tool and design
software that will help me to design a good poster.
